If there is a week to look at longshots, this may be it. The Detroit Golf club has been around since 1899. It’s only been hosting this PGA tourney for four years. The leaderboard has been diverse, it points to the longest drivers as having an edge even though a few short game specialist have come through. The Rocket Mortgage DFS DraftKings Ownership Projections are tailored to bring you the pivots off heavy chalk, value, and solid sleepers to aid your teams meteoric rise to the top of the field in multiple formats.
Detroit is also the home of 8 mile road made famous by the movie by Eminem. I was in a club on 8 mile back in the 80’s with a friend and a couple of guys came in and started shooting up the place. The patrons didn’t bat an eye or stop drinking, apparently it was quite common. There was some friction between the band on stage and the group firing towards them. (the music critics in Detroit must be serious) My friend Mike told me to relax, they weren’t there for me. I replied my rapid move to cover was in case they were terrible shots. I turned down future invites for health reasons, mainly my own. It was a tough road to own a business on, just a tough stretch of street period.
The Course and it’s Horses
This is a bomb and gouge course as there is little penalty for wayward shots off the tee. Most approach shots will be with wedges, the key stat will be putting on the Poa-hybrid greens. I will also play elite wedge players and look for some diamonds in the rough down the salary sheet. The horses this week are Finau, (last years winner) Morikawa, Fowler, Homa, Kim and Matsuyama. JT could be a dark horse as well.
Recent Results
Last week our Frisky Biscuit missed the cut on the number at three under. A lot of players were hoping for -3, and we were 3 players away from having it. This brings our overall record to 49-13. Our record since the Sentry in January is 29-7.
A popular saying is that if you’re not winning, you need to work harder. At Win Daily Sports we do all the heavy lifting. ALL of it. Use promo code “WINBIG” for a FREE week to access the best intel with shows, podcasts, articles and expert chat in Discord to get your DFS bankroll rolling up the plus side. Our Deep Dive Dave recently picked two outright winners in a row, at 65-1 and 80-1 odds along with multiple outrights every single month. Sia is the King of FRL and comes through with first round leaders weekly. Come get that top ten player from me that no one owns and is dirt cheap to roster, then watch your team take it to the top. It’s only 5.99 a week. No one works harder to get you the golf DFS intel that pays. You can count on it as you count your winnings.
Whether to trust the Weather
The weather is calling for two days of calm and sunny skies. We may have winds from 5-10 MPH, and Friday night may bring a shower in. The Po-Anna greens grow during the day so may be smoother in the am. We don’t see a discernable edge for AM or PM. We will have updates in Discord tonight.

Parting Shot
“After all these years, its still embarrassing for me to play on any PGA tour.” Last time I asked my caddy for a sand wedge, he came back 10 minutes later with a ham on rye.”
Chi Chi Rodriquez- PGA hall of Fame.
