9/24 DFS Winner: David Jones Finishes High in Third Consecutive Tournament
Another day, another big return for our very own David Jones. He won $3K in the MLB Monster on Monday. He has now finished Top 4 in tournaments in three consecutive days with two overall wins! It was his fourth Top 4 tournament finish in the past week (three wins), and he has won $83K during that span and $183K since mid-August. He has been consistently winning large sums of money and you can get his DFS Cheat Sheets and Slack Chat access to David and our other DFS Pros including Jason Mezrahi with a Premium Gold subscription. Free members can get access to his Weekly GPP Picks and Showdown Previews.
9/24 NFL DFS Winner: Taylor Gabriel
Here is a screenshot from our DFS Pro DraftKings NFL Projection Model for Week 3. Taylor Gabriel was extremely valuable for the salary that he had going into the Monday Night Football matchup against the Washington Redskins. Gabriel ended up with six catches (seven targets) for 75 yards and all three touchdowns scored by the Bears’ offense.
Outlook for the rest of the season: Gabriel bursted on the scene for this game against the Redskins. Coming in with just three receptions in the first two weeks, Gabriel outplayed Washington’s secondary. Expect more targets his way in the next few weeks with games against Minnesota and Oakland in the next few weeks, both who are not considered elite passing defenses. Gabriel will go as far as Mitchell Tribusky will.
9/24 Winner: Sloane Stephens
Our very own Phil Naessens wrote this in his Cash with the Flash article, available to all Premium Gold members. If you wanted to add some more to your bankroll late Monday night/early Tuesday morning, you would have followed this. Stephens won in three sets and showed that she was the better player on the court. Stephens plays a higher-seeded player in Petra Kvitova in the Round of 16 next.
9/24 MLB DFS Winner: Austin Hays
Our founder Jason Mezrahi had a great selection on the MLB Cheatsheet as a value outfielder wth Austin Hays. Hays and the Baltimore Orioles faced off against the Toronto Blue Jays and had a 15-inning affair. He went 3-for-8 with two home runs, five RBI and his first career stolen base.
Outlook for the rest of the season: Hays looks like he will be a good bat that can help in the rebuild that the Orioles are currently in. He has the ability to hold his own at the plate with a .261 average in 111 at-bats in his young career. In 55 at-bats this season, he has four homers and 12 RBI. Expect him to make the MLB roster next year and have a good season.
