7/13 LPL League of Legends Breakdown
Welcome to my 7/13 LPL League of Legends Breakdown, tonight we have a two-game slate with one lopsided affair followed by an absolute banger of a series between LNG and Team WE. BLG/TT is going to be the lopsided match as BLG has come out swinging this split picking up some big wins over teams such as FPX while TT has faltered through the gates once again being one of the worst teams in the LPL. Let’s get into these matches and see the tale of the stats to make the best plays possible.
BLG vs TT
The first match of the day and one that is going to be a lopsided match in terms of overall record and KDA’s for both teams here. BLG has been one of the most impressive teams in the LPL this split with their uber-talented roster finally congealing to play together the right way. TT on the other hand has made no major additions to their roster and has been sticking in the bottom half of the LPL for 2020. BLG holds most advantages here and they also have an overall lane advantage throughout the map.
BLG is going to win this matchup as they also hold edges in the early and late games. I believe it is more important to see here the CKPM of each team to get a view into how bloody the match will be. Both teams here hold very similar CKPM’s at 0.82 and 0.83. TT is a team that likes to take fights from behind while when BLG knows they have outmatched an opponent they tend to Macro the enemy team instead of looking for cross-map fights and proactive plays. BLG is going to win this matchup in a convincing 2-0, but I don’t know if the upside is going to be there for them tonight. I am looking for my small stacks to come from BLG tonight, especially the team spot.
LNG vs WE
Our second match of the night and the one that I believe will decide most contests tonight. We have a matchup here between two of the better teams in the LPL and I expect this to end as a very bloody series. Team WE have had a bit of a merry-go-round in the mid-lane continually switching between Mole and Shanks. LNG on the other hand had one of the best possible starts possible to the split starting off 5-0 and picking up some nice wins, since then they have looked much worse and have not had the same chemistry they had at the start of the split.
Looking into the potential of this match being bloody we have a CKPM here for WE of 0.92 while LNG has one of 0.75, which is surprising with how they won their matches to begin the split. Team WE also holds a first turret advantage here and falls behind slightly in First blood but overall holds an advantage in the early game. It will be close though if they are able to play out that lead and carry the lead into the late game. I expect this to be a very close matchup with Team WE taking the win in a 2-1 series. I also want my 4 stacks to come from this match as it projects to be the bloodier series of the two.
Summary
I like BLG to 2-0 and WE to win 2-1. I am going to be looking to take my 4 stacks from this second game and mainly be touching WE to get the bloodiness of that series into my lineups. I am not against taking a 4 stack of BLG as that match can end up being bloody as well but for a single line, I am going to be taking WE as my main team.
