This article focuses on 6/6 Bundesliga Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and Fanduel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.
6/6 Bundesliga Slate
We are down to five Bundesliga match weeks with Champions League spots and relegation yet to be decided. Despite there only being four games on DraftKings and five on FanDuel, this is easily the most loaded slate yet.
RB Leipzig will be the chalk on both sites, as they are facing an awful Paderborn side that resides at the bottom of the Bundesliga table. However, Bayern Munich provides us with an interesting tournament pivot. On Fanduel, we have even more high end options, such as those from Dortmund, who will be playing in the late game, which is included. When you also factor in the number of expensive but talented players on this slate not on the three aforementioned mentioned teams, the possibilities are endless.
Overall, it strikes me as a slate to MME on both sites. There are a lot of high end options and you can’t roster every one. This should lead to lower ownership than usual on a lot of the studs that we have been accustomed to seeing much higher owned.
6/6 Bundesliga Best Bets
Bayern Munich (-225) at Bayer Leverkusen (+475) – Under 3.5 Goals (-120) – 7:30 AM ET – Saturday 6/6 – *BAYERN MUNICH*
SC Paderborn (+1500) at RB Leipzig (-700) – Under 3.5 Goals (-105) – 7:30 AM ET – Saturday 6/6 – *RB LEIPZIG*
The Betting Game Plan
I had a chance to watch SC Paderborn when they got blown up by Dortmund 6-1 last Saturday. Let me sum up my experience by saying that it wasn’t hard for me to see why Leipzig are -700 favorites this week. I would add them to begin any parlay.
From there I would turn to Bayern Munich. They should be able to employ the “Jordan Rules” on 19 year old Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz. Given how close they are to clinching the Bundesliga title, it would be surprising to see Bayern drop this one. Beyond that if adding on, I would probably turn to either Gladbach who plays one day before on Friday, or Dortmund. I would suggest running a parlay consisting of 2-4 of the aforementioned options.
