6/27 Bundesliga DFS and Bets

This article focuses on 6/27 Bundesliga Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and Fanduel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

6/27 Bundesliga Slate

Hallo! It is the final Bundesliga slate as the EPL gets a minor rest today in favor of FA Cup play. Bayern Munich has the title, and along with Dortmund and Leipzig have Champion’s League spots for next year wrapped up.

However, the final Champion’s League spot is still up for grabs with Gladbach leading Bayer Leverkusen by two points and a nine point goal difference, acting as tiebreaker. Therefore, Gladbach needs at least a tie to clinch and a loss coupled with a Bayer Leverkusen win would knock them out.

As far as relegation goes, SC Paderborn is already headed down to the German second division. Auf Wiedersehen!

However, as far as the second relegation spot, Werder Bremen has a slight chance to avoid the same fate if they can win and Dusseldorf loses.

Dusseldorf has a four goal differential on Werder Bremen so a Dusseldorf tie probably will not help, unless coupled with a massive Werder Bremen win, which is unlikely.

Today, it will be particularly important to watch lineups as this is the equivalent of NFL Week 17. The fact that Dortmund is only a -140 favorite and Bayern Munich only a -145 suggests that it is likely that usual starters rest. Therefore, expect to see a ton of value. These might also turn out to be betting bargains given that Bayern Munich has nothing to play for last week and still crushed.

That said, this slate is loaded and the rankings are full of studs. I think that it would be hard to capture every single strong play, so do not feel limited by the rankings by any means.

6/27 Bundesliga Best Bet

Mainz (+900) at Bayer Leverkusen (-400) – Under 3.5 Goals (-120) – 9:30 AM ET – Saturday 6/27 – *BAYER LEVERKUSEN*

The Betting Game Plan

Bayer Leverkusen has a must win game on their hands, two points shy of Gladbach for the final automatic Champion’s League spot. Mainz meanwhile does not have anything to play for, so little motivation. Even when playing regularly, Bayer Leverkusen should beat them regardless.

6/27 Bundesliga MKF Picks

With so much on the line for Bayer Leverkusen, who else would we turn to other than Kai Havertz? A goal seals the deal and he will be looking to add to his season long tally. Meanwhile, we can take the under on Jean-Phillipe Mateta and hope he doesn’t grab a shot on goal.
