We are going to start by breaking down the two matchups of the new LPL split scheduled to go off at 5 am and 7 am Eastern standard time on Monday The DraftKings and FanDuel slates lock at 5 am SHARP. The slate is two best of three-game series LPL (Chinese League) matches.
The first match is ESTAR (ES) (-190) VS. BILIBILI (BLG) (+205).The second match is TEAM WE (WE) (-175) VS. VICI GAMING (VG) (+125). I am going to break down each game the way I feel it will play out. I will post my betting picks and favorite team immediately following the breakdown.
At the later stage of my article, I will have a list of my favorite captain’s/stars in order of preference. This article is for both Draftkings and FanDuel.
MATCH ONE: LPL SUMMER SPLIT
MATCH ONE: ESTAR (ES) (-190) VS. BILIBILI (BLG) (+205).
The first match of the night for our LPL DFS slate is a former 2020 LPL spring split powerhouse vs. a 2020 spring split aggressive losing team.
Last split BLG gave every team a run for their money and made them work for every win that they received. So far, we witnessed just two games from BLG, and it made me never want to watch them play again. YES, it was that bad. They were absolutely obliterated and took to school by FunPlus Phoenix (FPX).
Of course, I know it’s FPX, the former world champions, but FPX did not start off too hot and ill be honest, prior to that match, I thought BLG could possibly win. They also took a loss to VG, who, in my opinion, are mediocre at best. Until I see them give me a reason not to go against them, I am going to go heavy on every team playing them.
Here’s where the massive problem lies. The problems name is ESTAR. They came out of the gate in the 2020 LPL spring split, looking unstoppable, even beating IG when they were undefeated. Throughout the season, they started to have internal differences and communication problems. One of those big problems was the elite mid laner (Cryin), who is now on RNG.
ESTAR looks sound. They look like a well balanced, kill-happy, and hyper-aggressive team. One slip up, and they are going to ace (kill all five opposing players) your entire team.
BLG makes ALOT of mistakes. When they make those mistakes, ES is going to make them regret it immediately. I do see ES taking this series pretty easily. Maybe BLG squeezes one game but definitely does not take two.
I am not always right (I’m right a lot more than I’m wrong lol). Just in case BLG catches lightning in a bottle twice, I will have 20% of BLG stacks one lineup paired with WE and one lineup paired with VG. Nothing more or nothing less.
MY LPL DFS PICK: ESTAR (ES) (-190).
MATCH TWO: SUMMER SPLIT.
MATCH TWO: TEAM WE (WE) (-175) VS. VICI GAMING (VG) (+125).
Here’s the MATCH OF THE DAY for our LPL DFS lineups. WE gaming has two wins and one loss in the new LPL summer split. They started off with things hot, sweeping EDG (a decent team) with ease. WE came back and made a few mistakes against Suning (SN) and slipped a match, losing in a full three-game series one to two. I believe that could have easily gone in WE’s favor.
Then they showed us that they are not a team to mess with when they made IG (former powerhouse) look like they were an academy team, sweeping them with ease .
Vici Gaming is far from an elite team, but should definitely not be overlooked. They can continuously farm the map, and low-key build their champions to an elite level. Once they do that, they can surprise their opponent with strong abilities.
I know that WE tended to feed opponents kills, but I do not think that VG will be very aggressive and get those kills. Believe me, when I say, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE but, WE should takeover this match and come out with a win here.
I will have a 70/30 split of these two teams. My stacks will include both three and four-man stacks 70% of WE and 30% of VG.

SLATE SUMMARY: LPL SUMMER SPLIT
I will be building ten ESPORTS DFS lineups. My exposure in my LOL LPL DFS lineups will consist of 80% ES, 70% WE, 30% VG, and 20% BLG. All of my stacks will be four/three. I will prioritize using ADC and MID in my captain spot. Any lineup that I can not use ADC or MID because of salary requirements, I will be using JNG. If by chance, JNG does not fit and ONLY if I can not fit the three prior positions, I will use a TOP or SUP in my captain spot.
