2024 NFL Preview: AFC North Offense

Cincinnati Bengals 2023 Record 9-8

Head Coach: Zac Taylor
OC: Dan Pitcher (would assume Taylor calls plays)
O-Line Grade: B

2023 Offensive Stats:

• P. Att/g: 36.2
• R. Att/g: 22.5
• Plays/g: 58.7
• TM SEC/play: 30.1

Notes:
No changes in coaching. Some increase in TE usage last year but a lot of injuries on that team in 2023. I love Mike Gesicki as a prospect but those days are probably gone. Not sure I believe in any of the RBs, but there are a TON of routes vacant… Chase Brown has some value here in the receiving game (probably more of a DFS than a seasonal fantasy asset).

• Ja’Maar Chase
• Burton upside?
• Tee Higgins
• Zack Moss / Chase Brown

Cleveland Browns 2023 Record 11-6

Head Coach: Kevin Stefanski
OC: Ken Dorsey (replaces Alex Van Pelt)
O-Line Grade: A

2023 Offensive Stats:

• P. Att/g: 37.2
• R. Att/g: 29.9
• Plays/g: 67.1
• TM SEC/play: 27.9

Notes:
Not much to be changed here even with Dorsey coming in. Due to weird gameflow in 2023, I would project them to be a little heavier on the run than the pass, but still a solid fantasy spot all around. This should be a fast-paced offense with a monster O-Line and tons of weapons. DeShaun Watson should thrive here if he still has some game.

Key “Skill” Fantasy Assets:

• Jerome Ford / Nick Chubb (bad bad knee injury)
• Amari Cooper
• David Njoku
• Too many targets to go around to have consistent faith in Eli Moore/Jeudy

Baltimore Ravens 2023 Record 13-4

Head Coach: John Harbaugh
OC: Todd Monken
O-Line Grade: B-

2023 Offensive Stats:

• P. Att/g: 29.1
• R. Att/g: 31.5
• Plays/g: 60.6
• TM SEC/play: 29.5

Notes:
Would expect a bit more passing but not by much. Slower offense with a lot of explosive upside. O-Line is not great but Lamar’s ability to take off helps the RB game

• Lamar Jackson
• Mark Andrews
• Derrick Henry
• Zay Flowers
• Upside maybe with Devontez Walker

Pittsburgh Steelers 2023 Record 10-7

Head Coach: Mike Tomlin
OC: Art Smith (ATL HC)
O-Line Grade: B-

2023 Offensive Stats:

• P. Att/g: 30.3
• R. Att/g: 28.3
• Plays/g: 58.6
• TM SEC/play: 29.2

Notes:
Should see a good uptick in pace and overall plays per game. Art is Art… should see more focus on the run game but the QB play is going to be sketchy until further notice.

• Najee Harriis (going to be annoying with Warren, but cuff em). Najee is too cheap.
