It is time to head back to college and enjoy a great day of College Football.
Welcome to Week 10 of the College Football season! We have hit the point in the year where just about every game is a conference matchup. With teams from the same conference meeting, we get the pleasure of watching great teams going at it. This week we get a couple of great matchups. The slate’s highlight is in Georgia where 3rd-ranked Georgia hosts 1st-ranked Tennessee. Both teams need a win to pursue an SEC title and a spot in the CFB playoffs.

Quarterbacks
DraftKings Quarterbacks
Sean Clifford – Penn State – $7,000 – Clifford is in a great spot to continue the success he has had as of late. Over the past two games, Clifford has scored 26.8 and 25.7. Both of those games came against top 12 pass defenses, but luckily for him this week he faces the 102nd-ranked pass D. Indiana has struggled this season allowing over 260 passing yards a game.
Blake Shapen – Baylor- $6,100 – Love Shapen this week against a bad Oklahoma squad. Last week the Sooners gave up almost 20 DraftKings points to a struggling Dekkers. While the Baylor offense has become slightly more of a running team, they should need to pass the ball more to keep up with Oklahoma. This season Shapen has four games of over 20 points and this matchup sets him up for a fifth 20-point game. Could definitely see him hit his highest-scoring game this weekend.
FanDuel Quarterbacks
Brennan Armstrong – Virginia – $8,600 – UNC’s defense has been nonexistent this season and I think that will continue against Armstrong this weekend. Armstrong over the past four games has scored at least 15 FD points. I expect Armstrong to have a ceiling game against UNC and find his way back into the endzone after not throwing for a touchdown last week for the first time in five games. His dual-threat ability will come in handy this weekend with UNC’s rush defense also ranked near the bottom.
Jalon Daniels/Jason Bean – Kansas- $10,000 – It sounds like Daniels may be back on Saturday, but even if he is not I think Bean is a great replacement. Kansas takes on the 4th worse pass defense in Oklahoma State. Bean scored 28.88, 28.7, and 21.78 in the three games he has played replacing Daniels. Daniels on the other hand scored 40+ points in two of the three games prior to his injury against TCU. I’ll update the starting Qb on discord prior to kickoff.
Pivots:
DraftKings – Hendon Hooker – Tennessee- $8,000 “low-end”, Max Duggan – TCU – $8,500 “mid-range”, C.J Stroud/Bo Nix- Ohio St/Oregon – $9,100/$9,600 “high-end”
FanDuel – Stetson Bennett – Georgia – $9,300 “low-end”, Bryce Young – Alabama – $10,400 “mid-range”, Drake Maye – UNC – $11,800 “high-end”
Running Backs
DraftKings Running Backs
Mohamed Ibrahim – Minnesota – $7,300 – I expect Ibrahim to be highly owned this week, but it will be for good reason. Ibrahim is one of the elite RBs in the nation and this week he gets to run against Nebraska’s 115th worse rush defense. Last week Nebraska took on Illinois’ Chase Brown who scored 31.2 DraftKings points. Ibrahim is a better RB than Chase Brown so I expect him to not only match Brown’s 31.2 but he should surpass that mark at only $7,300. Ibrahim will definitely be my highest-owned RB this weekend.
Bucky Irving – Oregon – $5,800 – Play the primary ball carrier against Colorado. The Colorado rush defense sits 2nd in most rushing yards allowed. So far this season they are allowing 237.2 yards on the ground, which sets up Irving to have a good day. Irving comes into the game only averaging 71 yards on the ground, but in this matchup, it would surprise me if he doesn’t surpass his season-high of 107 yards. On DraftKings, Irving has scored over 15 points in four of his last five outings. His backup in this game, Noah Whittington $4200, is also a nice punt play if you need the $1,600 salary relief.
FanDuel Running Backs
Jo’Quavius Marks/Dillon Johnson – Mississippi State – $7,500/$7,100 – This is a two-player write-up because Marks and Johnson have split carries this season. Marks this season has 70 attempts to Johnson’s 68. I usually don’t like to play a split backfield but the matchup against Auburn this weekend is too good to pass up. Auburn has given up over 900 yards over the past three weeks including giving up 100 yards to three different Ole Miss players. I have Marks slightly ahead of Johnson, but I think both hit 100 yards and find the endzone.
Devon Achane – Texas A&M – $9,300 – He is priced in the elite range, but I think he is worth it this week. Achane has 20+ points on FanDuel in four of his last six, including in each of the last two. This weekend Achane comes up against a Florida run defense that isn’t any good. They are ranked 116th giving up 191.8 yards and 2.5 rushing touchdowns a game. Achane will have plenty of space to run and finally find the endzone. I can see him get 120 yards and a score.
Pivots:
DraftKings – Tyjae Spears – Tulane – $6,100 “low-end”, Kendre Miller – TCU – $6,300 “mid-range”, Miyan Williams – Ohio State – $7,000 “high-end”
FanDuel – Kaytron Allen – Penn State – $7,000 “low-end”, Will Shipley – Clemson – $8,600 “mid-range”, Israel Abanikanda – Pittsburgh – $10,000 “high-end”
DraftKings Wide Receivers
Quentin Johnston – TCU – $7,400 – After having a terrible start to his season, Johnston has picked it up in the last four weeks. His lowest score over the past four games has been 16.7 with a high of 43.6 in that span. Johnston has also found the endzone in each of the last four games after failing to do so in the first five of the season. Texas Tech does have a solid pass D, but they have allowed a lot 30 points a game which bodes well for Johnston and TCU in what should be a shootout.
Gavin Holmes – Baylor – $5,100 – Holmes has become the main WR at Baylor. Over the past five games, he has had at least five targets and has averaged four catches in that span. This week Baylor takes on an Oklahoma squad that has not been able to stop anyone. While Baylor has turned to the run game over the past few weeks, I still expect Baylor to continue targeting Holmes when they go with the passing game.
Pivots:
Brevyn Spann-Ford – Minnesota – $3,700 “low-end”, Parker Washington – Penn State – $6,400 “mid-range”, Marvin Harrison Jr- Ohio State – $7,600 “high-end”
FanDuel Wide Receivers
Josh Downs/Antoine Green – UNC – $9,500/$9,100 – Both of the Tar Heel WRs are in play this week. Both Downs and Green have missed games this season, but in the games, they have played they have been nothing but great. They each average over 4 catches a game with a touchdown, with Green being more of a deep threat while Downs is better in the middle of the field. With both of them averaging around 20 points on FD, I don’t think you can go wrong with either guy. My lean this week is Green given that Downs will be the main focus for Virginia which should help Green’s downfield threat.
Jalin Hyatt – Tennessee – $8,800 – I had to include a player from the biggest game of the week. Hyatt has been on a roll over the past few weeks, scoring 11 touchdowns in the last four games, as well as 100 yards in each of the last three. Hyatt will have to continue his form for Tennessee to have a chance against Georgia. A positive for Hyatt will be the return of Tillman, which will force Georgia to split its focus, which will give Hyatt more room to work with.
Pivots:
Moose Muhammad III – Texas A&M – $7,000 “low-end”, Michael Mayer – Notre Dame – $7,200 “mid-range”, Brock Bowers – Georgia – $8,100 “high-end”
