It is time to head back to college and enjoy a great day of College Football.
Welcome to a special Friday edition of Week 13 of the College Football season! With the college season almost at its end, I want to say thank you to everyone who has followed me in this CFB journey. This Friday we get a couple of great matchups. The slate’s highlight is in Cincinnati where Tulane and the host Cincinnati have what is basically an AAC semifinal since the winner of the game will host the AAC title game, while the loser is all but eliminated from AAC title contention.

Quarterbacks
Dorian Thompson Robinson (UCLA) $9,400DK/$11,800FD – DTR is currently listed as Probable, but if he’s ready to go he’s my number one QB on this slate. Last week DTR proved why he’s been one of the most consistent QBs in DFS putting up 47.5 against USC. A matchup against the 127th-ranked pass defense is the perfect final regular season game for the 5th-year QB.
Jayden de Laura (Arizona) $7,900DK/ $11,200FD– de Laura is in a smash spot this week against a weak Arizona State pass defense that ranks 89th. He had a bit of a letdown game last week after beating UCLA the previous week but should be in line for another big game this week. He has a good chance to show off the talent that has Arizona ranked as the 5th best passing offense.
KJ Jefferson (Arkansas) $7,500DK/$10,500FD – Jefferson has a tough matchup against a good Missouri pass defense, but love his dual-threat ability in this one. Jefferson doesn’t have the greatest passing stats this season but he has been able to avoid mistakes and has a 7:1 TD: Interception ratio. If he can continue that on Friday and he could find some success with his feet, I expect to see him near the top of the scoring chart for QBs this slate.
Pivots:
DraftKings – Brady Cook – Missouri – $6,300 “low-end”, Trenton Bourguet – Arizona State – $7,700 “mid-range”, Drake Maye – UNC – $9,000 “high-end”
FanDuel – Blake Shapen – Baylor – $7,200 “low-end”, Jordan Travis – Florida State-$10,200 “mid-range”, Drake Maye – UNC – $12,000 “high-end”
Running Backs
George Holani (Boise State) $7,900/$9,100 – Holani failed to reach the endzone last week against Wyoming for the first time after a five-game stretch. I don’t expect that to be the case again this Friday when he gets to run against one of the weakest defenses, Utah State. Utah State gives up almost 30 fantasy points against the run game, Holani averages 23 points on DraftKings and 18.9 on FanDuel.
Xazavian Valladay (Arizona St.) $7,500/$9,600 – Valladay has been on a hot streak the past few weeks. Over the past seven games he’s played he’s hit 20+ points six times. This Friday he’ll likely hit the mark for the seventh time as he takes on the 125th worse rush defense. Expect Valladay to find the endzone at least once with Arizona allowing almost three rushing touchdowns per game.
Bijan Robinson (Texas) $9,300/$10,700FD – Not surprising to see Robinson as the highest-priced RB on the slate. He’s easily the best RB on the slate and even though this week he comes up against a top-50 rush defense, he should continue to dominate like he has when faced with multiple top-20 rush defenses. Robinson comes into the game averaging 127.37 yards and 1.6 touchdowns a game.
Pivots:
DraftKings – Cody Schrader – Missouri – $4,700 “low-end”, Raheim Sanders – Arkansas- $7,000 “mid-range”, Zach Charbonnet – UCLA – $8,400 “high-end”
FanDuel – Montrell Johnson Jr – Florida – $7,600 “low-end”. Lew Nichols III – Central Michigan – $8,000 “mid-range”, Sean Evans – Eastern Michigan – $9,300 “high-end”
Wide Receivers
Josh Downs (UNC) $8,100/$10,000. – Had his worse performance of the year last week, but I expect a bounce-back game this Friday. Downs’s four-game 100-yard and three-game touchdown streak was broken last week. On Friday he takes on a solid NC State squad, but Downs has proven he can play against any defense so I still love the spot.
Jake Bobo (UCLA) $6,600/$7,600 – Bobo has been impressive this season despite his lack of touchdowns. Playing a weak Cal squad this Friday gives him a great chance to find the endzone with Cal averaging two touchdowns allowed per game through the air. If DTR is out, Bobo does fall slightly down on my list but he’ll be a security blanket for backup Garbers so he’ll still be in play.
Tyler Scott (Cincinnati) $6,800/$9,500 – Scott is in a tough matchup against Tulane, but I like his chances to continue his great form. Scott comes into the game averaging 23.4 on DraftKings and 20.01 on FanDuel. With a chance at the AAC title game on the line, I think Bryant will target Scott plenty of times in hopes the duo can get their team into the title game.
Pivots:
DraftKings – Matt Landers – Arkansas – $5,600 “low-end”, Xavier Worthy – Texas – $6,600 “mid-range”, Jacob Cowing – Arizona – $7,700 “high-end”
FanDuel – Jadon Haselwood – Arkansas – $6,700 “low-end”, Tanner Knue – Eastern Michigan – $8,300 “mid-range”, Tory Horton – Colorado St – $8,600 “high-end”
