11/18 UEFA Nations League DFS Picks
Another great day for some Nations League Picks, we have a beautiful four game slate over on Draftkings in which only one team stands out as a massive favorite – England.
Belgium takes on Denmark, a game in which Belgium should win handily, but did not really control the first meeting as much as expected only winning 2-0. Belgium also has not scored more than two goals since taking on Iceland in a 5-1 win. Denmark, on the other hand, has been flawless. While their level of talent is not on the Belgian level skill-set wise, they have been playing fantastic and their last loss was actually against Belgium.
To continue, Bosnia takes on Italy in which the Italians are decent favorites, but Bosnia defends quite well and drew Italy on their first meeting. They have the defensive firepower to keep it close, and the Italians aren’t finishing as well as normal, keeping some of their games on the lower side of scoring. Look for Jorginho, who takes penalties, to possibly have another crack at the spot if they get a penalty kick against Bosnia.
England takes on Iceland in a game in a game that doesn’t truly mean a lot for either team. England can’t win the group, and Iceland hasn’t gotten a single point yet in Nations League, and I don’t expect them to again tomorrow. Harry Kane will be the top play for tomorrow’s slate, and is likely to bag a few goals if England gets out to a hot start.
Poland takes on the Netherlands in a game in which the group is still up for grabs. If Italy slips against Bosnia, one of these two teams has the chance to win the group. Furthermore, in their first meeting, the Netherlands absolutely throttled Poland, not based on scoreline, but overall. Poland registered 2 shots all game, under 40% possession, and only had one on target but were missing the X Factor: Robert Lewandowski. If we see him tomorrow in their side, Poland is a completely different team, and his price on Draftkings is not something to ignore at $8200.
