It was another solid day at the Sweet Spot as we went 5-3 and returned a positive +1.1 unit profit. That puts us at 32-12 on the month on props and bets. The monthly return is at +17.3 units.
Jared has you covered for DFS today so I’ll just post my favorite bets and props below.
There are many tools available, but I hope you’re using the WinDaily Projection Model as that has been very helpful in rostering key players each night.

MLB PROP BETS
DYLAN CEASE over 7.5 K’s (-130 DK):
Cease has gotten back to his strikeout ways in his past 3 games as he’s recorded 24 K’s in those contests. Colorado is striking out at a high rate in September, 25.5%. They also struggle against the FB and slider which are Cease’s primary outpitches.
NICK LODOLO over 7.5 K’s (-110 DK):
Pittsburgh has the 2nd highest K rate against LHP’s this season. And that number has increased from 26.3% to 27.5% in September. Plus, Lodolo has thrown over 100 pitches in his last 3 starts so there is a desire for Cincy to stretch him out as the season ravels down.
CHARLIE MORTON under 6.5 K’s (-140 DK):
Morton is a much different pitcher away from Atlanta. His ERA goes from 2.96 at home to 5.28 on the road. His K rate also drops significantly from 11.5 K/9 at home to 9.2 K/9 on the road. Additionally, he’s gone under 6.5 K’s in 9 of his 13 road starts.
KYLE FREELAND over 5.5 hits (+120 DK):
Freeland is much better away from Coors as his ERA is almost cut in half on the road. However, CHW is #2 on the season in batting average against LHP’s at 0.277. And they’ve raised that to 0.333 in September. Chicago is hot and think they can get hits in bunches versus a lefty today.
ADAM WAINWRIGHT under 2.5 ER (-120 DK):
Wainwright pitched a CG against Milwaukee in August where he allowed only 3 hits and 1 ER. Wainwright is 10-6 against this number at home this year.
EDWARD CABRERA over 15.5 outs and 5.5 K’s (-110 DK):
Cabrera saw the Phillies in August and went 5.2 innings and recorded 6 K’s. That was in Philly and tonight he’s in Miami which is a much friendlier pitchers park.
MINNESOTA TWINS over 2.5 runs F5 (+115 DK):
Zach Greinke has allowed more than 2 runs in 8 of his last 9 starts on the road. He has a 4.24 ERA against Minnesota this year and has allowed 21 hits in 15 innings of work.
