We had a nice profitable day across last night!! It would have been a huge day if the Devils and Thunder didn’t collapse late. The collapse that really hurt was that of the Astros. Yesterday we turned another good profit!! The Blazers were disappointing and unfortunately put an end to our undefeated start to the NBA season. Some great discussions have taken place in slack lately and as I have stated previously that’s where you need to be. It’s not only the plays that are being provided but the learning aspect that sets this site apart. Those in the chat have stated how beneficial it has been and this is the best slack chat out there. I couldn’t agree more so take advantage of it.

World Series Note. I’m going to leave the series play up there until it concludes. It’s not a new bet. Right now if for some reason you have not jumped on I don’t advise it. I said earlier on how fantastic Washington has looked lately. My opinion was that it would be hard for them to maintain that level through a 7 game series with a team as talented as Houston. However they have beat the best starters the Astros have to offer and have maintained the elite level. I would avoid a series bet on both sides. If you have it like I do roll with it, it’s not dead. The price was great at the time and had they won that game last night we would be sitting in value town. It’s one bet if it happens to lose it’s not a big deal.

NFL TNF Note. I don’t have a play for this game tonight. The value is definitely on Washington however this just isn’t a spot I’m looking to go after. If they start to get blown out early I could see a live bet somewhere in the +21.5 range that would be enough to take a chance on it if you really want to be on this game. Yesterday was a 1-1 day with an easy smashing of the Jets. Unfortunately the Leafs lost a close game and we had a break even night. Tonight we have the start of the NBA season. It’s only a couple games but it’s nice to have it kick off. We also have a full slate of NHL.

One note on the World Series. I’m not going to be on anything tonight because I believe the Astros win but I really don’t like the price. I think the Astros win the series but again I don’t like the price. The Astros are clearly the better team however the Nats have played as well as anybody in baseball through the end of the year and through these playoffs. The way I’m going to attack it is to try and get a series bet down on the Astros but after the price drops. If they happen to crush from start to finish it’s fine we haven’t lost all that much. On the other hand if they struggle and the Nats obliterate them we would be out quite a few units. I don’t think either happens and I believe at some point we can get on Houston at a better price.
