We’re back with another Wednesday Night Win Daily NHL Article! We’re back for the first article in the month of December! Last article was a monster and we hope you were able to put it to good use! We have a small 6-gamer for tonight’s slate, lots of different plays to look at!!! So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 12/1 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

12/1 NHL Stack Report

  1. Edmonton Oilers 1
    Hyman – McDavid – Kassian (FanDuel: $20,600 | DraftKings: $18,000)
This should come as no surprise but its extremley hard to avoid talking about the Edmonton Oilers this season whenever they play regarding DFS. They have been not only the best team in hockey but they have been crazy point producers with their top players regularly scoring multi-point games. The questions for cash games have usually centred around whether you want to play McDavid, Draisaitl or both rather than if you want to play them at all. They are definitely a CASH LOCK tonight and they always correlate well with their linemates who usually come at a discount compared to their output, as is the case with Zack Kassian who is getting a start on the top line tonight over Puljajarvi and accordingly is coming in at a great price for us. On top of all of this, Edmonton has been an absolute Juggernaut on home ice (8-1 on the season, 6-straight wins) and that’s exactly where they’ll be tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Tyson Barrie (FD: $5,500 | DK: $5,200)
  2. Ottawa Senators 1
    Batherson – Norris – Tkachuk (FanDuel: $18,900 | DraftKings: $16,000)
This is the perfect matchup for Ottawa to break out of the recent funk they’ve been in. They are finally getting top winger Drake Batherson back (more on that below) and they are up against a Canucks team who was on a four-game losing streak prior to eeking out a win over the lowly Montreal Canadiens in their last game. The Vegas odds in this matchup are rightfully close as both teams have been outplaying the other with poor performances as of late but on paper Ottawa is the better team when fully healthy. Furthermore, they’ll be up against Thatcher Demko who has had a terrible run in 2021, going 7-10-1 and giving up nearly 3 goals a game. Bottom line, you’re getting a top line against a poor defensive team. We dont need them to win necessarily but they can surley rack up the score win or lose. There are some other decent options tonight for value plays but I would not overlook Ottawa’s top line tonight for GPP formats despite their recent performances (which have included a lot of goals despite losing game).
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Thomas Chabot (Zub works as a cheaper option) (FD: $5,100 | DK: $6,300)

    Honorable Mention(s): DET1 (Bertuzzi-Larkin-Raymond), TOR1 (Bunting-Matthews-Marner), NYR1 (Kreider-Zibanejad-Fox), VGK1 (Pacioretty, Stephenson, Stone)

(lots of games, lots of viable stacks)

12/1 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Igor Shesterkin (FD: $8,500 | DK: $8,200)
  2. Jack Campbell (FD: $8,300 | DK: $7,900)
Honorable Mention(s): Robin Lehner, Anton Forsberg (DEEP GPP PLAY)

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Thatcher Demko (FD: $7,300 | DK: $7,700)

12/1 NHL Wild Card Targets

Drake Batherson (FD: $4,800 | DK: $5,100)
Batherson has been out for a few games (Covid protocol) and with Ottawa dropping every game he wasn’t in the lineup for, it goes to show how integral he is to the lineup. In the last game he played in, Batherson dropped FOUR POINTS (2G and 2A) en route to a 6-3 stomping of the Pittsburgh Penguins. As mentioned above, tonight the Sens are going up against Thatcher Demko who has had a really rough start in his 2021 campaign and Batherson will be seeing top-line minutes on both even strength and the power play.
Honorable Mention(s): Tyler Bertuzzi (FD), Adam Fox, Nazem Kadri (loses some value with the return of MacKinnon), Garland

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Connor McDavid

Winger Drake Batherson

Defence Adam Fox

Goalie Igor Shesterkin

We’re back with a new Sunday Night Win Daily NHL Article! Hope you all had an amazing thanksgiving and a lot of Turkey! Tonight, we have a small 4-game slate. So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 11/28 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

11/28 NHL Stack Report

  1. Toronto Maple Leafs 1
    Marner – Matthews – Bunting (FanDuel: $21,000 | DraftKings: $19,600)
The Leafs have easily been one of the hottest teams in hockey as of late as they have won 13 of their last 15 games. One major difference from last season is that scoring has been much more evenly spread compared to last season but it is clear that the Leafs’ top players are leading their charge as of late. Because of this it is difficult to choose between the Leafs two top lines as both are in play in tonight’s small slate but I would slightly lean towards the top line as they see more ice time and have been a little more consistent in getting points throughout the Leafs recent run of form. Unsurprisingly, the Leafs are carrying one of the largest implied totals on the slate at 3.2 only behind Boston. Also of note is the Ducks horrible discipline, they are near the bottom of the league in penalty minutes per game and that a very bad stat to have troubles in against a stacked Leafs team. Expect the Leafs to continue their strong run of form tonight against the Ducks. A solid cash strategy for tonight would be building around either TOR1 or BOS1 (or both if you can).
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Morgan Rielly (FD: $6,300 | DK: $5,500)
  2. San Jose Sharks 1
    Meier – Couture – Balcers (FanDuel: $15,900 | DraftKings: $14,100)
Marc-Andre Fleury really looked like he turned a corner this season but his last game took away a lot of the progress he has made as of late as the Flames put three by him en route to a 5-2 win over the Blackhawks. The hard part about this game is we just dont know what version of Marc-Andre Fleury we are going to get this game. Regardless, its important to know that the Sharks top line have been on quite a roll as of late, especially Timo Meier who has 18 points in 15 games. The other key fact about Meier is that he is a shot machine, averaging 4.4 shots per game this season. His linemates are also relatively affordable for a top line and his centre Logan Couture also joins him on San Jose’s top power play unit. They will be a lower owned option tonight but they can provide excellent value in GPP formats.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Brent Burns (Mario Ferraro as a cheaper option works) (FD: $5,600 | DK: $6,600)

    Honorable Mention(s): NJD2 (Bratt-Mercer-Johnsson), BOS1 (Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak)

11/28 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jack Campbell (FD: $8,100 | DK: $8,000)
  2. James Reimer (FD: $7,400 | DK: $7,600)
    Honorable Mention(s): Mackenzie Blackwood

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Thatcher Demko (FD: $6,700 | DK: $7,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Martin Jones

11/28 NHL Wild Card Targets

Dawson Mercer (FD: $4,700 | DK: $4,700)
For his price, Mercer has been excellent as he has 8 points in his last 8 games and will be going up against a Flyers side who has been abysmal as of late, losing their last five games. Further to that point, the Flyers will be starting back-up Martin Jones as regular starter Carter Hart coughed up six goals in his last game. Jones is coming into tonight on a three-game losing streak and at Mercer’s price, it’s hard to stray away from him on this small slate with all the signs pointing to a strong night for the Devils. Vegas agrees as they currently have the Devils implied total at 3.3 and currently list the Devils as a -139 favourite at the time of writing. Mercer does see power play time on the second unit and sees anywhere from 16 to 18 minutes of ice time per game. Mercer’s linemates are good value plays as well (Andreas Johnsson, Jesper Bratt) but he also can work as a one off play.
Honorable Mention(s): Troy Terry, Brandon Hagel, William Nylander, Trevor Zegras, Tomas Tatar

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Auston Matthews

Winger Brad Marchand

Defenseman – Dougie Hamilton

Goalie Jack Campbell

Welcome to the Saturday Slapshot.  I’m Jared and I’ll be your host.  Tonight we have a nice sized 8 game slate where I’ll be highlighting some of my top plays for tonight’s NHL slate on Fanduel and Draftkings.

Before we dive in I want to highlight some terms you’ll see in my article that may be foreign to you:

  • Corsi – Any shot attempt (goals, shots on net, misses and blocks) outside of the shootout
  • Even Strength – Play where both teams have the same number of players (including goalies) on the ice. Includes 5v5, 4v4, 3v3
  • Power Play – Play where the team has more players on the ice than their opponent due to penalties. Includes 5v4, 5v3, 4v3
  • Penalty Kill – Play where the team has fewer players on the ice than their opponent due to penalties. Includes 4v5, 3v4, 3v5

Goaltending

Jacob Markstrom($7.9k DK/$7.9k FD) vs. Winnipeg Jets – Jets are a team that have some fire power, but recently they’ve been shooting blanks.  Over the past 2 weeks the Jets have one of the worst shooting percentages of any team on tonight’s slate.  It’s sitting at just 5.37%.  They’re firing at will as they have been averaging over 34 shots per game during that stretch but nothing is finding the back of the net.

The Jets have been averaging just 1.86 goals per game over their past 7 games.  In Markstrom we have an elite goalie who has a 1.73 GAA on the year and a .940 save %.  All signs point to Markstrom having a solid night and being one of the best values in net.

Ville Husso ($7.8k DK/$7.8k FD) vs. Columbus Blue Jackets – Husso has only played in 2 games this season.  1 game he was brilliant, the other game he was average.  Tonight he faces a Blue Jackets team on the tail end of a back to back set.

They’ve been averaging around 33 shots per game over the past 2 week so we know there’s a good chance that Husso gets some volume tonight.  If he plays like he did in his first start with that type of volume he stands a good chance of having a solid night tonight.

Goalie is a train wreck in my opinion tonight.  Outside of Markstrom I have little comfort in any goalie.  Normally I’d put a goalie vs. the Canadiens, but have no interest in DeSmith.  You could make a case for Cal Petersen but he’s more than I’d like to pay for a goalie.

Stacks

Detroit 1 (Larkin/Bertuzzi/Raymond) + Seider or DeKeyser

If you have followed me this season, you know my affinity for the Red Wings.  They are a high risk, high reward type of team.  Tonight I love the spot for them.  The Sabres as a team are a mess defensively.  They’re giving up more than 4 goals per game on average in their last 7 games.  As per usual with the Red Wings, Larkin and Raymond are my priority.

The two of them have combined for 6 goals and 12 points over their past 5 games.  They also play together on the top power play unit.  For this stack, I’d also consider adding in Seider.  While his price has crept up there, he plays with Larkin and Raymond on the top power play also.  He’s also getting more than 4 shots plus blocks in his last 5 games.

Los Angeles 1 (Kempe/Arvidsson/Kopitar) + Roy

The Kings have been struggling of late.  Over the past 2 weeks they’ve only scored 9 goals in their 5 games.  There’s no better slump buster than the Ottawa Senators.  This is a great bounce back spot for the Kings.  While they haven’t been scoring much of late, the top line is where I want to stay tonight.  Kempe and Arvidsson are my priorities here as they are the ones playing the best of late.

Over their last 5 games they each have individual corsi’s of at least 25.  Between the 2 of them they have 20 high danger chances over that stretch too.  At some point, they’re going to break back through and it should be tonight.  Kempe, Arvidsson, and Roy all play together on the top power play as well so they’ll correlate throughout the game.

Pittsburgh 1 (Crosby/Guentzel/Kapanen) + Letang

The Canadiens are another team that is an absolute mess.  Over their last 7 games the are giving up more than 4.2 goals per game and over 37 shots.  Teams are just firing at will against them.  The Sabres had 39 shots and 4 goals against them last night.  There’s no reason to think that the Penguins can’t replicate that tonight.

I love both the top lines for Pittsburgh tonight but my preference is the top due to how well Guentzel has been playing.  Over his past 5 games he has 25 scoring chances, with 15 being considered high danger.   My priority here would be Guentzel and Kapanen.  Crosby is starting to heat up a bit as he has 11 shots over his past 3 games. That said, $7.1k on DK is still a lot to pay for someone that hasn’t been scoring.

Other stacks (Both top lines for Edmonton, Pittsburgh 2, STL PP1, Col 2, CGY 1)

Top Defenseman

  • Cale Maker – Colorado Avalanche
  • Roman Josi – Nashville Predators
  • Jakob Chychrun – Arizona Coyotes
  • Esa Lindell – Dallas Stars
  • Kris Russell – Edmonton Oilers
  • Vladislav Gavrikov – Columbus Blue Jackets

Summary

We may see some sloppy hockey tonight as nearly half the teams playing tonight played last night.  Sloppy normally means some extra goals.  Markstrom is my top goalie tonight and it’s not really close.

Good luck and hope to see you in the green!

We’re back with another Wednesday Night Win Daily NHL Article! This slate has a lot of games as we are close to the Thanksgiving break, so happy Thanksgiving to all! We have a large 14-gamer for tonight’s slate, lots of different plays to look at!!! So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 11/24 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

11/24 NHL Stack Report

  1. Edmonton Oilers 1
    Hyman – McDavid – Puljajarvi (FanDuel: $22,200 | DraftKings: $20,900)
We cant avoid the elephant in the 14-game slate. Namely, the top two scorers in the league going up against the worst team in the league this season. Arizona has one of the highest goals allowed in the league at 3.53 while Edmonton has the third highest goals per game in the league at 3.72. Unsurprisingly, the Oilers have one of the highest implied totals at 3.7 and for good reason since out of 14 games (including Washington vs Montreal) I can comfortably say that this is the biggest mismatch of the slate AND that the Oilers have very top heavy scoring with two players contributing to the majority of their points. (Great for Cash Games)
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Tyson Barrie (FD: $5,400 | DK: $5,500)
  2. Florida Panthers 2
    Verhaeghe – Lundell – Reinhart (FanDuel: $16,200 | DraftKings: $11,200)
Out of 14 games, it was very difficult to pick a second team and one with good value at that. But Florida’s second line jumped out to me early on during my slate analysis. Not only has Florida’s second line been on quite the hotstreak as of late but Florida also has the highest implied total on the slate at 3.8. Given Florida’s perfect 10-0-0 record at home, and the fact that they are coming into this game on a three game winning streak (this line scored in all those games) while the Flyers are coming into this game with a three game losing streak (given up 14 goals over those three games) its not hard to see why Vegas Odds are so high on the Panthers coming into tonights matchup. Despite their recent successes, this line has remained extremely affordable and other than perenial Calder candidate Anton Lundell, both Verhaeghe and Reinhart both see power play time. On a slate as large as this one with all the expensive top lines, you’ll need to utilize value lines such as FLA2 to round out your rosters tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): MacKenzie Weegar (FD: $4,900 | DK: $4,700)

    Honorable Mention(s): WAS1 (Ovechkin-Kuznetzov-Wilson), BOS1 (Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak), CAR1 (Teravainen-Aho-Jarvis), TOR1 (Marner-Matthews-Bunting), SJS1 (Meier-Couture-Balcers), CBJ1 (Bjorkstrand-Jenner-Nyquist)

(lots of games, lots of viable stacks)

11/24 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jack Campbell (FD: $8,000 | DK: $7,900)
  2. Frederik Andersen (FD: $8,400 | DK: $8,000)
Honorable Mention(s): James Reimer, Ilya Samsonov, Sergei Bobrovsky

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Jake Allen (FD: $7,000 | DK: $7,200)

11/24 NHL Wild Card Targets

Mikael Granlund (FD: $4,800 | DK: $5,000)
Despite his recent successes we haven’t seen a significant rise in Granlund’s price at all this season. This comes as a bit of a surprise as Granlund is coming into tonight with one of the hottest few of week stretches in his NHL career with 9 points over his last 6 games including an impressive 4-assist performance against the St. Louis Blues. Granlund has performed exceptionally well alongside veteran standout Matt Duchene, who is having a renaissance year this season as well as star defenseman Roman Josi who is truly the backbone of this Predators lineup. The Preds will also be up against Robin Lehner who has had a rocky GAA this season at 3.01 along with a poor 5-GA performance against the Blues two nights ago. This is very similar to a Seth Jarvis play tonight as we are truly trying to “strike the iron while it’s hot.” (ie It’s hard to say if this level of play is sustainable but Granlund is rising to the occasion at a reasonable price as of late and has the teammate support to help him succeed)
Honorable Mention(s): Frank Vatrano, Seth Jarvis, Timo Meier, Nazem Kadri, Joel Eriksson Ek, Tage Thompson, Troy Terry (lots of games, lots of viable Wild Card plays)

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Connor McDavid

Winger Carter Verhaeghe

We’re back with a new Sunday Night Win Daily NHL Article! We’ve had another great week of hockey and I’ve seen a lot of improvements and wins in the chat! Let’s continue our positive wins as of late with tonight’s slate! Tonight, we have a small 5/6-game slate. So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 11/21 NHL slate, the slate begins at 6:00 pm ET on FanDuel and 7:00 pm ET on DraftKings. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

11/21 NHL Stack Report

  1. Los Angeles Kings 1
    Kempe – Kopitar – Arvidsson (FanDuel: $17,900 | DraftKings: $17,900)
Despite the fact that the Kings are on a bit of a skid, they’re facing off against the worst team in the NHL this season, plain and simple. Both teams are coming off games last night, LA who barely lost and Arizona who barely won. So both teams will most likely start their backups and will be equally as tired. Tonight’s game will be played in LA and for as bad as Arizona has been at home, they’ve been objectively worse on the road. Only winning a single game away from home, all season. In this matchup, pretty much every offensive stat favours the Kings as well as every defensive stat. Most notably, the Kings hold nearly a 10+ shot average per game over the Yotes, the Yotes allow over a goal more per game on average and the Yotes take over 13 penalty minutes a game which is the worst in the league. Unsurprisingly, the Kings have one of the highest implied totals on the slate at 3.5 while Arizona has one of the lowest at 2.2. This matchup should not be close and Los Angeles’ top line has really be leading the charge for them offensively.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Matt Roy (FD: $3,500 | DK: $4,400)
  2. Washington Capitals 1
    Ovechkin – Kuznetzov – Wilson (FanDuel: $22,900 | DraftKings: $22,200)
Honestly, the odds in this one dont make too much sense to me. I get that Washington played last night and Seattle didn’t but it doenst make sense that the Kraken are coming in as slight favourites. The Kraken have dropped their last six games, while the Caps have won their last two, including a 4-0 blanking of the Sharks last night. Washington’s offence has really been driven by Alex Ovechkin (not just in this season but in general) to a point where he’s yet again leading his team in both points and goals by a wide margin, posting 29 points in 18 games. His linemate Kuznetzov is not far behind at 21 points in 18 games, while Wilson also has a formidable 14 points in 18 game. They are all at the top of their team in scoring and are facing off against a goalie who has an abysmal 3.27 GAA and a .875 SV% in Philip Grubauer. I see Ovi padding his career stats in this matchup and would prioritize him in your builds tonight regardless of his price.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): John Carlson (FD: $6,400 | DK: $6,900)

    Honorable Mention(s): BOS1 (Pastrnak/Bergeron/Marchand), NYR1 (Krieder/Zibanejad/Goodrow) FanDuel, TOR1 (Ritchie, Matthews, Marner)

11/21 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Vitek Vanecek (FD: $7,900 | DK: $7,900)
  2. Joseph Woll (FD: $7,600 | DK: $7,800)
    Honorable Mention(s): Jonathan Quick

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Karel Vejmelka (FD: $6,900 | DK: $7,300)
Honorable Mention(s): Dustin Tokarski (FanDuel), Philip Grubauer, Marc-Andre Fleury

11/21 NHL Wild Card Targets

JT Miller (FD: $7,200 | DK: $5,600)
JT Miller is continuing his crazy scoring pace this season as last game he notched an assist against the Jets for 11 points in his last 10 games. JT’s scoring has been extremely consistent over those games and tonight’s JT and the Canucks are up against one of the worse goalies in the league this season, Marc-Andre Fleury, who currently holds a GAA of 3.36, not to mention, the Blackhawks got pumped 5-2 by the Oilers last night. While the Canucks are coming into the home game with some rest. The Canucks implied total tonight is one of the higher ones on the slate at 3.3 and JT Miller will have an excellent shot at adding to his point totals tonight.
Honorable Mention(s): Alex Ovechkin, Brad Marchand, Charlie Coyle, Jordan Eberle, Seth Jones

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Anze Kopitar

Winger Alex Ovechkin (CASH LOCK)

Winger – Adrian Kempe (if he plays on the top line)

Welcome to the Saturday Slapshot.  I’m Jared and I’ll be your host.  Tonight we have a nice sized 9 game slate where I’ll be highlighting some of my top plays for tonight’s NHL slate on Fanduel and Draftkings.

Goaltending

Juuse Saros ($7.7k DK/$7.2k FD) vs. Montreal Canadiens – Any chance I get I try to pick on the lowly Montreal Canadiens.  Offensively, they’ve been a mess.  Over the last 2 weeks they’ve been averaging just 2 goals per game on around 32 shots.  Quick math tells me that’s just an awful shooting % at just a shade over 6%.  So the Canadiens are shooting the puck, just with no success.

In Saros we have a goalie that’s been playing pretty well, but not great.  He hasn’t had a game under 14 DK points since early November so we know he’s not going to kill us.  There should be some upside with Saros tonight with how the Canadiens have been playing.  He’s one of my favorites tonight on FD as he’s only $7.2k there.

Jacob Markstrom ($7.6k DK/$7.9k FD) vs. New York Islanders – I’m chasing the ceiling with Markstrom tonight.  He’s had back to back stellar games with more than 26 DK points in both.  In his last game he shut out the Buffalo Sabres.  With the matchup against the Islanders tonight he’s facing another team here that has an extremely low shooting %.

Over the last 2 weeks the Islanders have just a 4% shooting %.  That’s insanely low and while I expect to see some positive regression with them at some point, I just don’t see tonight against one of the top goalies in the league.  This is the cheapest that Markstrom has been on DK since late October.  His price went down $900 on DK after his shutout.  I’m all in on him tonight.

Jack Campbell ($8.3k DK/$8.7k FD) vs. Pittsburgh Penguins – I’ll start by saying I’m going to live with my top 2 goalie choices tonight in Saros and Markstrom.  If you want to go the expensive route Campbell deserves some consideration.

He’s been lights out in November.  In the 8 games he has started this month he’s been under 20 DK points just twice.  The Penguins are getting healthy with Crosby back in the lineup but I don’t think they’ll be any match up for the surging Maple Leafs and Canadiens.

Stacks

Detroit 1 (Larkin/Bertuzzi/Raymond) + Seider or DeKeyser

I absolutely love Detroit tonight. They’re facing off against a Coyotes team tonight that’s just downright bad.  They are certainly priced up tonight but w/ the match up I get it.  The Coyotes have been giving up close to 33 shots per game over the past 2 weeks with a save % under 90%.  Any time I see that combo I’m automatically intrigued by the matchup.

The Coyotes also have a slate worst 42% corsi over the past 2 weeks.  Offenses are hammering them right now.  Any offense w/ the Red Wings starts with Larkin.  When he’s on the ice and the Red Wings score he’s always involved.  My priority here would be Larkin and Raymond.  Bertuzzi’s price is getting up there while the production hasn’t.  Bertuzzi is far more playable on FD tonight.

Vegas 1 (Stephenson/Stone/Dadanov) + Hague or Pietrangelo

Let’s start by saying that the Columbus Blue Jackets gave up 4 goals to the Coyotes on Thursday night.  The goaltending for them has been pretty shaky of late.  Merzlikins has given up 12 goals over his last 3 games after starting out the year pretty solidly. In 4 of his last 5 starts he’s had a save % under .900.

With the Golden Knights tonight we should be able to find some goals.  With Mark Stone back in the lineup the Golden Knights get back one of their key weapons.  He’s had an assist in each of his last 3 games.  My core in this stack is going to be Stone, Dadanov, and Hague.  Hague at just $3.6k on DK feels like an absolute steal w/ his production of late.

Edmonton 1 (McDavid/Puljujarvi/Hyman)

You know the drill.  When McDavid is on the ice, he’s in play.  Thankfully for us he gets a solid matchup tonight vs. a Blackhawks team that has one of the worst Corsi’s of any team on the ice tonight.  They’re Corsi % over the past two weeks is at 43%.  Only the Coyotes have a worse number of the teams playing tonight.

While I love Hyman, I’m more than likely going to pair him with Pulj tonight due to the savings.  Over his past 5 games Pulj is averaging nearly 3 shots + blocks so we know we’ll get some productivity out of him.  Look for McDavid to continue his dominance over the NHL Tonight.

Other stacks (Edmonton 2, CBJ 1, STL 1, NSH 1, Tor 1 or 2)

Top Defenseman

  • Zach Werenski – Columbus Blue Jackets
  • Seth Jones – Chicago Blackhawks
  • Charlie McAvoy – Boston Bruins
  • Nicolas Hague – Vegas Golden Knights
  • Dante Fabbro – Nashville Predators
  • Martin Fehervary – Washington Capitals

Summary

We have a fun looking slate tonight.  There are 4 games w/ a total of 6 and the rest of 5.5.  We should definitely see some offense tonight.  I can’t wait to see what a young Red Wings team can do tonight vs. an awful defensive team in the Coyotes.

Good luck and hope to see you in the green!
