Back-to-back slates where we smashed the best bets posted in the NBA DFS article. We get another six-game slate on DraftKings and I’ll break down my core plays and favorite game to attack. On top of that, two more bets will be posted. Let us continue the streak and keep the green rolling in.

NBA DFS – Core Plays

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander $10,700 – 55.96 DK Points – 5.23 Value Rating

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has an amazing matchup tonight versus the San Antonio Spurs as they struggle against point guards. Coming in as the second-highest projected player on the slate, Gilgeous-Alexander should have a fairly easy run to exceed expectations. He’s currently averaging 31.8 points, 6.6 assists, and 5.6 rebounds per game in his last five games. He has recorded 30 or more points in those last five games also.

With the defense of the San Antonio Spurs against point guards, they are allowing them to average 26.4 points, 8.9 assists, and 6.7 rebounds per game. Allowing point guards to flirt with the double-double bonus. Also for Oklahoma City, this is a slight pace-up spot as the Spurs average 105.1 possessions per game compared to Thunder’s 104 possessions per game.

Bol Bol $3,900 – 24.18 DK Points – 6.20 Value Rating

Bol Bol comes in as a strong value play and his two most recent games will show why. Versus Houston last Friday, Bol recorded 25 points with 14 rebounds and then recorded 11 points and four rebounds versus the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. Now with a four-day break, Bol Bol will be refreshed and ready to keep up the consistent play that he has found.

The big hang-up right now is with Jusuf Nurkic, who has the probable tag as of this morning. If things change for the worse and he moves to questionable, Bol Bol will see a huge boost in projection, value, and ownership. However, it would be ownership that I’d want to eat in the lineup.

Chet Holmgren $7,900 – 40.94 DK points – 5.18 Value Rating

While Victor Wembanyama is the higher projected player between the two young stars in this matchup, Chet Holmgren sits at a nice price tag. Sitting at $7,900, Holmgren gets a San Antonio Spurs defense that struggles also against some bigs. They currently allow them to average 26.5 points, 16 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. We should get Chet to pay off his price tag but also exceed it.

There will be a double-double bonus upside also as he has averaged 20.4 points and 10 rebounds in his past five games while averaging 30.9 minutes. Overall for the season, his average has been 17.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists with a usage rate of 21.5%. He does come second when it comes to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander but the duo can make a dominating impact tonight versus the San Antonio Spurs, plus with Holmgren’s price tag, it leaves room for more alongside Bol Bol.

NBA DFS – Game To Target

Oklahoma City Thunder (-625) versus San Antonio Spurs (+455) – Total 238.5 Points
Odds and Total Points are taken from the DraftKings Sportsbook.

Following my core plays, you’ll notice two of the three plays are from this game. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren make for strong plays. Overall, there are many spots in this game that we can look at. The other pay-up spot is Victor Wembanyama who is at the price tag of $10.100 on DraftKings. Both he and Gilgeous-Alexander are two of the top three projected players on this slate.

While it is the second-highest total out of the six games on the slate, the pace of play makes for a great spot to attack. Oklahoma City plays at a pace of 104 possessions per game while the San Antonio Spurs average 105.1 possessions per game. With that, we have a few salary-saver spots to look at from this game also. Lu Dort comes in at $4,400 while Tre Jones and Jeremy sit at $5,000 and $5,1000. The game could get out of hand but if so, I believe SGA and Holmgren still can pay off their price tag, especially Chet sitting at $7,900.

NBA DFS – Best Bets

Draymond Green over 0.5 3-PT Made -125 (FD Sportsbook)

We’re going to continue riding the hot 3-point hand of Draymond Green. If you checked out the article on Tuesday (February 27th), we played the same prop bet for Green. He has now made at least one three-point shot in six straight games while taking at least two attempts in four of his last five. The New York Knicks do allow bigs to average 2.6 made 3-point shots per game also. overall, our NBA DFS Player Prop Model has this bet at a 162.58% edge and we’re not passing that up.

Alperen Sengun over 0.5 Blocked Shots -115 (bet365)

Moving on to the fifth-highest edge-rated bet is going to be Alperen Sengun over 0.5 blocked shots which sits at a 55.30% edge. Sengun has at least one blocked shot in four of his last five games. He’s averaging one blocked shot in his last five games and 0.8 on the season. The Phoenix Suns do allow 1.8 blocked shots per game for opposing centers so Alperen Sengun should have his opportunities to hit his prop.

We went 2/2 last night as Draymond Green cashed his 0.5 3-PT Made total and Max Struss blew his 8.5 points total out of the water. It’s time to get it rolling with another NBA DFS slate and we have six games tonight on DraftKings. Below, you’ll find my core plays plus two of my favorite bets.

NBA DFS – Top Targets

Domantas Sabonis $10,300 – 52.48 DK Points – 5.09 Value

We get a monstrous matchup once again with Domantas Sabonis facing off against Nikola Jokic for the fourth time this season. Sabonis has averaged 18 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists in three games facing Denver. His dominating play has continued in his last five games where he is averaging 21.6 points, 14.2 rebounds, and 10.4 assists. He should be in line for a double-double at a minimum while flirting with a triple-double bonus.

This is going to be a good game to target as two of the three games have hit 240 and 241 total points. On top of that, the Sacramento Kings play at a faster pace, averaging 103.9 possessions per game while Denver averages just 100 possessions. Domantas Sabonis is the fourth-highest projected player on the slate and while Nikola Jokic does project for more, the ownership will be lower for Sabonis with just as much upside.

Norman Powell $4,800 – 30.12 DK Points – 6.27 value

Norman Powell and the Los Angeles Clippers are in a huge pace-up spot tonight versus the Los Angeles Lakers. While they play at a slower pace with 101.4 possessions per game, the Lakers are averaging 104.9. Powell also comes in as the second-highest projected value play with a rating of 6.27. He has found success versus this Lakers team this season already.

In three games versus the Lakers, Powell has averaged 14.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists while averaging 28.9 minutes per game. With that, the Lakers have also struggled versus guards, allowing them to average 24.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 6 assists per game. Norman Powell will be a key piece to get to better payup spots like Domantas Sabonis or Nikola Jokic tonight.

Kyrie Irving $9,300 – 48.47 DK Points – 5.21 Value Rating

The last team we played a point guard versus Toronto, Tyrese Haliburton disappointed us. I don’t see that happening tonight with Kyrie Irving. With Dallas and Toronto having the second-highest point total, you’ll want a piece of the action. Irving has been playing well as of late. In his last five games, he has averaged 29.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. On the season, he has played consistently, averaging 25.8 points, 5.3 assists, and 5.2 rebounds with a usage rate of 29%.

The obvious piece in this matchup though is Luka Doncic who is hard to pass up. While there would need to be some strong value plays to open by lock time, pairing Kyrie Irving with Doncic wouldn’t be a bad route. It would just be a nearly impossible route and a true punt with scrubs and stars lineup. Doncic and Nikola Jokic are priced high and for good reason which makes Domantas Sabonis the best next pay-up spot to pair with Kyrie Irving.

NBA DFS – Top Bets

Get access to our NBA DFS Player Prop Model here and find the best edge in the industry! Example from yesterday below. Click the image for today’s updated model…………..

Santi Aldama over 12.5 Points + Rebounds -120 (Bet365)

Santi Aldama has found success this season versus Minnesota and is averaging 12 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in three games. Aldama is projected to do damage once again as he’s projected for 17.34 points and rebounds tonight. Both teams do play at a slower pace and if Minnesota is short-handed once again, Santi Aldama may have an easier route to his total.

Evan Mobley over 0.5 steals -130 (Bet365)

Evan Mobley is a low-total stealing machine. On the season he is averaging almost 1 steal per game and in his last five, he has recorded at least one steal in four of them. Getting to face Chicago once again, they allow opposing centers to average 1.1 steals per game. Plus, Mobley secured one steal and block in their first meeting.

NBA DFS – Top Targets

Stephen Curry $9,500 – Projection: 49.46 DK points – 5.21 Value Rating

Stephen Curry comes in as one of the top five projected plays tonight and is under $10k with a value of 5.21. Curry has a solid matchup versus Washington who can struggle with guards. They are allowing them to average 25.7 points, 10.1 assists, and 7.1 rebounds per game. Plus, with this being a larger slate, Stephen Curry should come in with low ownership.

Stephen Curry brings the double-double bonus upside but his scoring capabilities are what can push him over the top. He’s averaging 27.7 points per game on the season with a usage rate of 31.3%. He has scored 30 or more points twice in his last five games. He recorded 41 points versus the Los Angeles Clippers and 32 points versus the Los Angeles Lakers. The final nail in the coffin to lock in Stephen Curry is the pace of possession for this game as Washington leads the league with 106.4 per game, giving Curry a pace-up boost.

Ayo Dosunmu $5,400 – Projection: 31.17 DK Points – 5.77 Value Rating

Ayo Dosunmu has been logging plenty of minutes in his last five games and at $5,400, we do not want to pass that up. Dosunmu’s last five games, he has recorded 39, 41, 33, 39, and 39 minutes. A full-game run versus the Detroit Pistons? Yes, please. He comes in at number six when it comes to the value ranking in our DFS Projections.

The Detroit Pistons do come in with a faster play than the Chicago Bulls but once again, that is another pace-up spot for Ayo Dosunmu. The Pistons average 104.3 possessions per game while Chicago ranks at the bottom with just 100.9 possessions. Mixing that with their poor defense versus shooting guards, Dosunmu should have no trouble paying off his price tag tonight.

Jarrett Allen $7,300 – Projection: 41.53 DK Points – 5.69 Value Rating

The Dallas Mavericks may have some nightmares about Jarrett Allen who completely dominated them in December. Allen logged a huge double-double with 24 points and 23 rebounds. Can we expect that to happen again? Most likely not but we can expect him to walk away with another double-double. In his last five games, he is averaging 19.6 points and 10.2 rebounds, while securing a double-double in four of his last five games.

Mixing Jarrett Allen with Ayo Dosunmu could give you the salary room to move up from Stephen Curry to Victor Wembanyama who also is under $10,000 on DraftKings. However, the matchup is slightly more difficult and Wembanyama value rating is at just 4.93 for this large slate.

NBA DFS – Betting Plays

If you haven’t already, Jason uploaded some early morning bets that you don’t want to miss out on over in the Bet Tracker.

Draymond Green over 0.5 3-PT Made -120 (Bet365)

This comes in as the highest edge bet in our NBA Player Prop Model, sitting at 156.61% edge. Draymond Green has made at least one three-point shot in his last five games while attempting two or more in four of them. The Washington Wizards are good at defending power forwards when it comes to three-point shots but still allow 2.3 per game.

Max Strus over 8.5 Points -125 (Bet365)

Max Strus is coming into tonight’s game, averaging 10.4 points in his last five games. His only real dud was Sunday versus the Washington Wizards where he only scored 3 points. In our model, he is projected for 11.29 points. Dallas ranks in the middle of the pack when it comes to defending the small forward position and with Strus averaging near 32.2 minutes per game this season, 8.5 points is very doable to exceed.

NBA DFS – Top Targets

Tyrese Haliburton $9,500 – Projection: 51.51 DK points – 5.42 Value Rating

Tyrese Haliburton comes into the slate as the top projected player and his stats back that up. He has been a walking double-double machine this season, averaging 21.8 points and 11.7 assists per game. Haliburton now gets another solid matchup versus the Toronto Raptors who he has seen twice already this season. In those two games, he has averaged 27 points and 14 assists while averaging a 51.4 field goal percentage and a 52.6 three-pointer percentage.

The Indiana Pacers play at the second-highest pace this season, averaging 105.9 possessions per game. Their opponents, the Raptors, are averaging just 102.8 possessions. With the fast-paced Pacers mixed with Tyrese Haliburton’s stats versus Toronto, it’s hard to pass up on him as a core piece of lineup building.

Precious Achiuwa $7,000 – Projection: 39.12 DK Points – 5.59 Value Rating

The Detroit Pistons are one of the worst teams this season when it comes to defending power forwards (and almost any position) which makes Precious Achiuwa a great play. The Pistons are currently allowing opposing power forwards to average 24.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. Achiuwa already has shown that he can exploit the Pistons this season.

In the first meeting versus Detroit for Precious Achiuwa, he recorded 12 points with six rebounds and five assists in just 18.6 minutes. He is carrying momentum right now heading into tonight’s matchup. In his last five games, he is averaging 14.4 points. 11.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while averaging nearly 39.6 minutes. Locking in Achiuwa with Tyrese Haliburton will give us two players with a double-double bonus upside.

Dennis Schroder $4,500 – Projection: 28.43 DK Points – 6.32 Value Rating

Dennis Schroder pops up as the top value play of the slate with a 6.32 value rating in our projections which you can find here (another reason to sign up for our Premium pass). On the season, Schroder has averaged 13.4 points, 6.1 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game. His last five games haven’t been nearly as impressive but Memphis has shown they struggle versus point guards this season.

On the season, Memphis is allowing opposing point guards to average 24.5 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds per game. Given the upside to coming off of the bench with the defensive struggles by Memphis versus guards, Dennis Schroder is going to be a great value play to target but ownership may come along with him.

NBA DFS – Betting Plays

If you haven’t already, Jason uploaded some early morning Precious Achiuwa bets which you don’t want to miss out on over in the Bet Tracker.

Andrew Nembhard over 4.5 assists +105 (DraftKings Sportsbook)

Andrew Nembhard gets a great matchup versus the Toronto Raptors when it comes to assists. The Raptors are allowing opposing guards to average 9.4 assists per game. Nembhard is averaging 4.6 assists in his last five games and recorded five in his first meeting versus Toronto. In our NBA Player Prop Model, he is projected for 6.45 assists and is at the highest edge percentage with 61.16%.

Jalen Duren over 12.5 Rebounds and Assists -130 (Bet365)

Jalen Duren is mainly making this list due to the rebounding upside he can have versus the New York Knicks. While the Knicks have been good overall, they allow a good chunk of rebounds to the center position with 13.2 rebounds per game. Duren recorded 12 rebounds in his first meeting this season versus them. Between rebounds and assists, he recorded 14. He is projected for 14.84 tonight with a 14.13% edge.

Today’s NBA GPP Picks 6/6 will be an afternoon slate featuring our first game seven between DAL and LAC. The other game we have to break down is Atlanta vs Philly game one of that series. Speaking of that series we have injury news to watch for as Joel Embiid and De’Andre Hunter both enter today questionable. That will make Discord Chat an important piece of your morning to follow the story of these two players.

Our WinDaily family will be in and out of there helping you adjust to any news that falls. There is no time to waste with an exciting game seven to keep tabs on.

Today will be different because of the two-game slate. I will break down my top plays from each game on both sides of the ball using DraftKings pricing.

Bombcarlo’s NBA GPP Picks 6/6

Atlanta vs Philadelphia

Atlanta
De’Andre Hunter – ($4,400)

Hunter has played over 32 minutes in three of Atlanta’s last four games which is a positive. In three of those games Hunter went for over 22 fantasy points He is questionable today but came into the last game with the same status and played through it. The 76ers play at a much faster pace than the slowest-paced Knicks. That will benefit Hunter itself and the minutes shouldn’t be capped as long as he gets the green light.

Danillo Gallinari – ($4,100)
Gallinari averaged above a 20% usage rate the last series and has a very nice price tag for that. He has scored 20 fantasy points in three of four and in the game he didn’t score 20 he missed every shot he took. That likely won’t happen again and he gets a plus matchup against a quicker-paced Philly team. If Hunter were to sit Gallinari will be a lock for me as his minutes should be solidified. Trae Young is the only other guy I will consider from Atlanta but it will be tough to get there with my exposure to game two.

Philadelphia
Seth Curry – ($5,100)

Last game that Embiid sat out Curry led Philly in usage at a rate just over 30% and scored 33 fantasy points. Most of those points were from real points as he had 30 but he went 3-6 from three so it isn’t like he was scorching from downtown. His 17 shot attempts last game were his most in nearly two months and if Embiid is out again he should get close to that. I do like that he will likely be guarded by Trae Young as well.

Dwight Howard – ($4,500)
In Howard’s last matchup against Atlanta, he played just 17 minutes and scored nearly 40 fantasy points. If Embiid is out Howard will likely need to play as many minutes as Capela does for Atlanta. With Capela averaging above 30 minutes in the last series, we could see Howard get close to that pending Embiid’s status. His ceiling is high in my eyes if Embiid is out and I will take that shot to save some salary. If Embiid sits Harris and Simmons will be great options as well it will just be tough for me to get to them with all the salary I’m spending in this next game.

Dallas vs LA Clippers

Dallas
Luka Doncic – ($11,100)

For me, the Mavs are easy it’s Luka or no one. The man has scored under 61 fantasy points just once in their six games so far. In these six games, Luka is averaging an absurd 40.75% usage rate. His minutes in the past two games eclipsed 40 and now he faces a win or go home scenario. A massive usage rate and over 40 minutes should easily allow Luka to surpass 60 fantasy points again. I do think Jalen Brunson is a cheap option if you want to go that route.

LA Clippers
Paul George – ($9,000)

It will be tough to squeeze both Luka and Kawhi on a squad so I’ll take the near thousand dollars saving for PG. He is averaging a usage rate of 27.4% in this series and scored over 46 fantasy points in four of the last five meetings between these two. Last game in a win or go home situation PG played 46 minutes and put up over 50 fantasy points. We can expect much of the same here in this game seven matchups between these squads.

Reggie Jackson – ($5,400)
Jackson has been a solid third option this series scoring 15 or more real points and 25 or more fantasy points in five straight games. His minutes last game was the highest they have been all series at 38 minutes played. That is encouraging since Jackson turned those minutes into the performance of a 43-fantasy point. In these past five games, Reggie is averaging a 24% usage rate which is plenty given his reasonable price tag.

Closing Bombcarlo’s NBA GPP Picks 6/6

I will have plenty of exposure to that game seven especially if Embiid is out more DFS players will shift toward Philly. The minutes for guys like Kawhi and Luka will be through the roof with their seasons on the line tonight. I will have Luka or Kawhi as my main staple in most of my lines. Be sure to get in Discord this morning to stay updated on when the Embiid news falls. That will wrap it up for NBA GPP Picks 6/6, best of luck on your DFS lines, and enjoy your Sunday!

Tonight’s NBA GPP Picks 5/24 slate will bring us just two games. It will be Miami vs Milwaukee and Portland vs Denver. As far as I know, there is no injury news to watch with Will Barton already ruled out. That doesn’t mean we can’t have a surprise Covid situation so make sure you pop in Discord Chat throughout the day. Join the WinDaily staff and me in there talking tonight’s basketball games and hop in our MLB chat as well. I’ll keep it short and sweet today so let’s roll into our picks.

Today will be different because of the two-game slate. I will break down my top game stack for tonight’s slate using DraftKings pricing.

Bombcarlo’s NBA GPP Picks 5/24

Portland vs Denver

Portland
Damian Lillard – ($9,500)

In-game one it was certainly Dame time and I will ride that train again. He played 40 minutes, shot 25 times, and scored a total of 59 fantasy points. His usage of 35% stood out as it was 10% higher than anyone else on the team. It wasn’t like he was scorching from the field either as he shot 10-25. In my opinion, he is still underpriced which is enough to put him as a centerpiece in my builds.

Jusuf Nurkic – ($6,700)
I watched all of the last game and I saw Jokic eat up Kanter when those two were matched up. That may be a big reason Nurkic played 33 minutes and I would expect him to again. The Former teammate of Jokic holds his own against the MVP candidate, which should solidify his minutes on the floor this series. I know one game was the season finale but Nurkic has scored 42 fantasy points or greater in two straight games against Denver. Since he is guarding Jokic there is foul trouble potential here but he’s got a 40-point upside with those minutes.

Honorable Mention – Norman Powell and Anfernee Simons

Denver

Michael Porter Jr. – ($7,000)
MPJ is the clear-cut number two option as long as Barton is out. In-game one Porter took 21 shots in route to a 28.5% usage rate. With that, he scored just shy of 40 fantasy points falling one rebound shy of a double-double. The Blazers have been the second-worst defensive squad all season so buckets against them aren’t hard to come by.

Austin Rivers – ($3,800)
There is nothing fancy about this play other than the value with minutes. In-game one Rivers was trusted to play 33 minutes and logged 20 fantasy points. If he continues to play that many minutes against the second-worst defense in the league you cannot ignore him at this price. With those minutes Rivers provides a floor that won’t hurt a lineup and on a two-game slate with limited cheap options, I will take it. I do believe Monte Morris is also in play at just $100 more you get more shot attempts but fewer minutes.

Miami vs Milwaukee

Miami

Jimmy Butler – ($8,500)

I will try to fit Jimmy in with those other four up top. He owned a 30% usage rate in game one and scored 47 fantasy points but shot only 4-22 from the field. If he makes two more of those shots he is above 50 fantasy points and 6-22 is still pretty bad. The pace up spot helps Jimmy with rebounds and I believe he will flirt with a triple double most of this series.

Goran Dragic – ($5,000)

In game one Dragic played 35 minutes on his way to over 30 fantasy points. He was third on the team in usage just above 25% while taking 17 shot attempts. The Bucks rank second fastest in pace this season which is a massive pace up spot for Dragic and the Heat. That 5K price tag is too cheap for me if he is going to play more than 30 minutes.

Honorable Mention – Trevor Ariza

Milwaukee

Jrue Holiday – ($7,700)

If I play anyone from the Bucks side it is Holiday who has scored over 43 fantasy points and recorded a double-double in three straight games. Holiday and Middleton were basically tied in usage behind Giannis last game at 24.5%. The Buck point guard gets peripheral stats at a solid clip to provide a solid floor. He is also the cheapest of Milwaukee’s primary usage guys. The Heat slow the pace enough and do a good job defending him for me to play him in game two. I believe Dame can get me near the same ceiling in his matchup for over a thousand less.

Honorable Mention – Brook Lopez
Closing Bombcarlo’s NBA GPP Picks 5/24
When you plug those four into a lineup it leaves you with $5,750 to play with. That amount of salary will allow you to plug in Holiday, Middleton, or Jimmy Butler from the other game. You would still be left with around $5,000 to spend pending which player you selected. I hope you enjoyed NBA GPP Picks 5/24 and may your screens be green!

Today starts the seven-game series and we get our first set of game ones for NBA GPP Picks 5/22. Most of the sitting and late scratch shenanigans should be done now. We can’t rule out some Covid protocol stuff so still, be tuned into Discord Chat rooms for this slate. Three of these games are projected at a 227-228 total with only the DAL vs LAC coming in at 218. My builds will start under the 10K range and go for a more balanced build for this first night. I think you can get a ton of usage still well below 10K, I mean we see Kawhi at just 8K. Let’s lock into these playoffs and get into the picks!

For this first round, I will do it a little differently. I will go over each game giving my top plays while considering ownership slightly more for GPP’s due to the smaller slates. This article will be using DraftKings pricing.

Bombcarlo’s NBA GPP Picks 5/22

Miami vs Milwaukee

Miami
Jimmy Butler – ($8,400)

Jimmy is one of those players at a bargain as he was priced at $9,500 toward the end of the year. In seven of his last eight games that he played full minutes, Butler scored 43 or more fantasy points. The Bucks have been the second fastest team in the league this season while Miami has been the second slowest. A massive increase in pace will allow the usage leader for the Heat to pay off this tag easily. The only other player I am looking at for Miami is Herro.

Milwaukee
Jrue Holiday – ($7,700)

First off, the Heat have done well defending Giannis in their three prior matchups and that was without Butler. In those three matchup Holiday, however, has averaged 42.5 fantasy points. That total is reachable again with Miami giving up the seventh-most fantasy points to point guards on the year. In five of his last seven games to close the year Holiday scored 45 or more fantasy points. Given the matchup and playoff minutes, we should see Holiday have a great outing.

Donte DiVincenzo – ($5,100)
This isn’t the prettiest play but all signs point toward it being a safe one for me. In five of six games to end the year Donte saw a usage rate several points above his season average. In that stretch of games, DiVincenzo had gone seven straight games scoring at least 26 fantasy points. Now that playoffs are here, he may get a slight minute increase and play more than 30 minutes which would be a bonus.

Dallas vs LA Clippers

Dallas
Jalen Brunson – ($4,100)

I’m not a huge fan of this game specifically from the Dallas side of the ball. In eight of Brunson’s past nine games, he scored at least 20 fantasy points. In five of those games, Brunson had a usage rate of 22% or greater. Some of those were without Porzingis but it is still a healthy number for a player at this price. This game is the lowest total, so be sure to remember this is for GPP only. I think Richardson could be an option too if you do not play one of the two Dallas stars.

Clippers
Kawhi Leonard – ($8,000)

This is an easy lock button for me. His price is too cheap especially now that he should be seeing playoff minutes toward 36-38 minutes pending game script. Leonard has played Dallas twice this year averaging 46 fantasy points. I know this total is low but these Clipper prices seem even lower. In my eyes, you should play either Kawhi or PG13 in your lineup. Both would work as one-off pieces where they are your only piece of this game.

Boston vs Brooklyn

Boston
Kemba Walker – ($7,500)

Since Jaylen Brown got hurt Kemba is averaging above a 31% usage rate. In seven of those eight games, Walker has scored at least 39 fantasy points flashing a ceiling above 50. His minutes were in question the majority of the season. It is playoff time though and he played 40 minutes at the end of the year. The Nets play at the eleventh fastest pace and rank in the bottom ten of defensive rating this season. Kawhi and Kemba will be my first two guys locked in my lines.

Brooklyn
Jeff Green – ($3,900)

It is tough to choose from the big three and they spread the ball out well for their high prices. I will look toward the cheaper Nets like Green who offers me a reasonable floor at a cheap price. In the last ten games to close the season Green’s lowest fantasy output was 15.5. His usage in the team’s final five games is encouraging as he averages above a 21% rate in those five. I will look at Green and some Blake Griffin from this game.

Portland vs Denver

Portland
Damian Lillard – ($9,400)

It’s Dame time now that we are in the playoffs. In eight of his last ten games, the Blazer star has scored 49 or more fantasy points. His lowest output in those ten games was 42.75 in the regular-season finale. His average usage of 30% on the year is 5% above anyone else on his squad. The ball will be in Lillard or McCollum’s hand’s majority of the contest. It seems to me that McCollum is priced right but Lillard is a little cheap. Regardless, I am only playing Lillard or may take a GPP shot at Nurkic.

Denver
Michael Porter Jr. – ($8,200)

When you take Barton and Murray off the court you will see Porter with a 4.9% increase. That puts his total usage at 27% which is second on the team behind Joker. To go with that usage, we have Porter recording 1.13 fantasy points per minute on average without Murray and Barton. Today is not your average matchup though as Denver is facing the team that ranked second-worst in team defense to end the season. Someone must shoot and score other than Jokic, and Porter will need to step up.

Monte Morris – ($3,300)
Morris returned for three games before the end of the year and played 18 minutes in two. His lowest fantasy total was 16 points in those games with no lower than a 17% usage rate. These numbers are lower than they should be due to slowly working back from his month-long absence. When you take all the Nuggets that are out off the floor Morris sees the largest usage increase of 5.2%. Also, worth mentioning that during that team he averages .92 fantasy points per minute a superb number for a player at this salary.

Tonight is the regular-season finale that brings us a ten-game slate for NBA GPP Picks 5/16. It will likely be full of injuries and players resting to end the year. If you just scroll the list of players there is a plethora already ruled out. That makes joining the WinDaily family in Discord Chat important for tonight’s slate. In there you will find us keeping you updated on our favorite plays and all injury news throughout the day. Today’s article will be slightly different I will select a few teams I am keeping an eye on pending injuries. With an injury-filled season finale and the potential for tons of rest before playoffs, I don’t want to waste too much time.

For today’s article, I will be selecting a few teams that interest me as stacks on DraftKings due to injuries and matchups. With this slate, we will have teams thin especially those playoffs bound and locked in.

Bombcarlo’s NBA GPP Picks 5/16

New Orleans Pelicans
Nickeil Alexander-Walker – ($6,800)

The Pelicans will be without three starters yet again as Ball, Ingram, and Zion will all sit again. When you take them off the floor NAW sees a team-high 27.6% usage rate and averages 1.1 fantasy points per minute. He is coming off a game where he played 40 minutes and recorded over 50 fantasy points. If the minutes are that high again, he should easily pay off this price.

Naji Marshall – ($5,100)

In two straight games, we have seen Marshall record above a 20% usage rate. That will continue with three Pelicans starters ruled out yet again. He has played over 30 minutes in three straight games and has recorded greater than 38 fantasy points in two of those three. His price Is elevated but the minutes and usage shouldn’t be lacking for Marshall.

Detroit Pistons
Killian Hayes – ($5,600)

Detroit is tanking and Hayes has been a primary beneficiary of that. In three straight games, the rookie has played 36 or more minutes. His lowest fantasy output was 21 points but he shot 1-8 from the field in that game. In the two games, prior Hayes scored 30 and 38 fantasy points. He has averaged above a 20% usage rate in his last four games. Minutes won’t be the question so firing up the rookie isn’t a bad idea.

Hamidou Diallo – ($4,700)

The former Thunder has averaged a 25% usage rate in the past three games he played. Detroit will be thin again to finish the year which should allow for plenty of usage. When we take all these Pistons off the floor although it is a small sample size Diallo is averaging 1.2 fantasy points per minute. The matchup isn’t the best but Miami will already be without Jimmy Butler.
Houston Rockets

Kelly Olynyk – ($8,500)

With all these Rocket players off the floor, Olynyk is averaging a 26% usage rate while accumulating nearly 1.5 fantasy points per minute. The Houston big man has posted over 40 fantasy points in six straight games. In half of those games, Olynyk has eclipsed 50 fantasy points. Houston needs someone to shoot the ball and Olynyk will be a big part of that with this short-handed squad.

Armoni Brooks – ($4,900)
Brooks has played over 30 minutes in five of six games. His lowest fantasy total of those games is 24.75 fantasy points. The highest he has scored in that same stretch is over 40 fantasy points. Houston’s rookie point guard will get a good long look in their season finale. That will allow Brooks to score more than 30 fantasy points and pay off his salary.

Sacramento Kings
Terence Davis – ($6,600)

When you take all these Kings off the court Davis is averaging a 25% usage rate and holding a 1.07 fantasy point per minute mark. Davis has averaged more than a 21% usage rate in seven straight games. He has scored under 35 fantasy points just once in his last five games. With all these Kings out again he should see plenty of shot attempts to surpass the 35 fantasy points threshold.

Louis King – ($3,300)

With all these injuries Louis King will see plenty of minutes. Justin James got hurt last game which resulted in King recording 34 minutes while recording 53 fantasy points. James is already ruled out so King should see all the minutes in this season finally. For a player priced at $3,300 he saw a 23% usage rate last game and had a quality performance. His minutes will be massive in the finale especially with all the injuries to this Kings squad.

As far as the studs go on this slate I think you can pick any of them because they all come with some risk tonight. My two personal favorites tonight are Damian Lillard $9,400 and Luka Doncic at $10,300. Both are high-usage players that lead their team but they both need a win to try to avoid the play-in tournament. There is plenty of value to go with these two as your studs for tonight’s slate.

Closing Bombcarlo’s NBA GPP Picks 5/16
That will wrap it up for this year’s regular season. Our final slate is NBA GPP Picks 5/16 which brings a ten-game slate to us. It is not an easy one to dissect and you will need to pay attention up to lock for this slate. Next time you hear from me we will be in the midst of playoffs breaking down important matchups. I can’t wait for the playoffs to be here and we get some serious battles down the stretch. For now, though, enjoy your Sunday, and good luck with your lineups.
