NBA DFS 2/12 — PG

Damian Lillard, POR (@ MEM) – DK $10,200

Lillard saw just 29 minutes of action last night, about 10 minutes fewer than his usual 38-40 – the result of a Pelicans blowout win that the Blazers gave up on pretty early in the fourth quarter. Tonight, they face the Grizzlies, who are three games ahead of them in 8th place, and I doubt he goes less than 35 if the Blazers are trying to win this game — which they should be. It’s a Memphis team that yields its most points to combo and scoring guards/wings, so we can look at Lillard in a huge bounce-back spot for GPPs. Stacking him up with Ja Morant is totally viable, as this could turn into a real battle. Trae Young facing the lowly Cavs makes for a good pivot.

Pivot/Stack: Trae Young/Ja Morant

NBA DFS 2/12 — SG

Malik Monk, CHA (@ MIN) – DK $4,700

I’d like to roster a stud at every position, but we’re going to need some value if we’re going to fit in all these upside-laden plays – and Malik Monk (a bench player who routinely sees anywhere between 25 and 35 minutes of court time) makes for a solid GPP gamble at SG. He’s got a 10x ceiling when he’s at the high end of those minutes. If you’re hell-bent on more upside you can spend up to Spencer Dinwiddie or a recently cool Devin Booker, and/or stack with another value play in the same game by selecting another Malik: Malik Beasley – who’s getting plenty of run as a starter with the T-Wolves.

Pivot/Stack: Spencer Dinwiddie/MalikBeasley

NBA DFS 2/12 — SF

Terrence Ross, ORL (vs. DET) – DK $5,100

I’m probably steering clear of the Lakers-Nuggets game tonight, and while LeBron is the obvious spend, exploring value at SF leads me directly to Ross. He plays around 30 minutes every game, has 8x upside and gets a pace-up spot versus a Detroit team that’s lost three straight. If you’d rather play SF Khris Middleton (minus Giannis but at an elevated price of $8,800), that’s well within your rights, but I expect the Pacers will do what they can to stop him tonight and make Brook Lopez and the guards beat them. Aaron Gordon makes sense on DK because he’s also SF-eligible, but his price is up $500 from his 45 DK point effort against the Hawks. I love Knicks SF Reggie Bullock ($4,200) as a value pivot as well, and if you really want to get sneaky, Bucks SG/SF Pat Connaughton ($3,800) saw 26 minutes last game and put up 21.25 DK points.

Pivot/Punt: Reggie Bullock/Pat Connaughton

NBA DFS 2/12 — PF

David Bertans, WAS (@ NY) – DK $5,800

The Wizards said they’d be keeping an eye on the minutes of Moritz Wagner and Rui Hachimura, but the rookie PF/C ended up seeing 32 minutes and posted some of his best all-around numbers as a pro from both ends of the floor. We could see his minutes dip in the second half of a back-to-back, which opens up more opportunities for Bertans, who has plenty of scoring upside on DK and can get hot from three-point range. The Knicks have trouble with versatile forwards like Bertans, as their best players are guards and bigs. We can pair him with Julius Randle and plenty of other players from both sides in game stacks, or pivot to SAC PF Nemanja Bjelica, who’s been logging big minutes in the Kings depleted frontcourt. GPP darling Jaren Jackson Jr. (JJJ) caught my eye as well, but he’s $6,400 and frequently deals with foul trouble. We can go there in POR-MEM game stacks, though.

Value Pivot/Stack: Nemanja Bjelica or JJJ/JuliusRandle

NBA DFS 2/12 — C

Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN (vs. CHA) – DK $10,500

If we spent all our money on the guards, we’ll need to roster a punt play like John Henson or a value guy like Dwayne Dedmon – who’s going to fare well back in Atlanta given their need for bigs and his promising (second?) debut for the Hawks (31.75 DK points in 28 minutes). KAT offers 7x and 25-15 upside in this matchup, so we’ll need to mix a few lineups in focusing on the big man in Minnesota. Nikola Jokic is a classic GPP play in a tough matchup but the Lakers will be hell-bent on stopping him with their defensive-minded frontcourt. There’s fearless, and there’s silly. I’d rather tackle the chance that Andre Drummond sees north of 30 minutes, which is all he needs to notch a 20-20 game.

Pivot/Value: Andre Drummond/DwayneDedmon

NBA DFS 2/8 — PG

P.J. Dozier, DEN (@ PHO) – DK $3,500

The Nuggets might be running a seven-man rotation tonight inPhoenix, and I love the point guards in this matchup. If we get word that Dozierwill see an expanded role, he could make for a fine value play. Even Jamal Murrayis an affordable $6,100, and you can easily stack up the two most active guardswith Murray and Devin Booker. If you’re stacking other games and need a valuepiece, Dozier could be your guy – and we’ll need somebody cheap to fit in allthe high-priced plays we need to prioritize tonight.

Pivot/Stack: Jamal Murray/Devin Booker

NBA DFS 2/8 — SG

Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN (@ TOR) – DK $7,800

With KyrieIrving out, we’re going to see increased usage from Dinwiddie, Caris Levert andothers for the Brooklyn Nets. I’m team Dinwiddie for this matchup against theRaptors, especially if Kyle Lowry sits this one out. I could see a Dinwiddie/FredVan Vleet stack working well, but if you’re not into those guys and would ratherlock in a sure-fire 40 DK points, then DeMar DeRozan is a good selection.

Pivot/Stack: DeMar DeRozan/Fred VanVleet

NBA DFS 2/8 — SF

LeBron James, LAL (@ GSW) – DK $10,900

I could see LeBron gong fora monster game against the Warriors tonight, who recently acquired Andrew Wigginsin exchange for DeAngelo Russell. Wiggins is still questionable because heneeds to pass a physical, so we could stack him up with the overachieving EricPaschall, who could get even more minutes if Draymond Green sits. It would begreat if Golden State could keep this within reach so the starters play thefourth quarter, but with most of the production going through LBJ, it might notmatter. If you’re fading this game, I’m still intrigued by Paul George’s priceand upside.

Pivot/Stack: Paul George/Eric Paschall

NBA DFS 2/8 — PF

Kristaps Porzingis, DAL (@ CHA) – DK $8,700

The price on Porzingis is still affordable on DK (he’s an oppressive $9,600 on FD), and he’s coming off a game where he had a reduced role because of the broken nose (no mask!) and he could see lower ownership because of the recency bias. Don’t all for it, fearless DFSers! Porzingis has 60+ DK upside tonight and should be a dominant force on the boards, in the blocks and on the scoreboard. Christian Wood is now $6,700, but he still has plenty of value in a plus matchup vs. the Knicks, while DAL-CHA game stack option P.J. Washington could see an expanded role (30+ minutes) after a few days rest following 24 minutes vs. the Rockets on Tuesday.

UPDATE: Porzingis is out, so there’s a lot of value in the Dallas starting five, especially Jalen Brunson, Dorian Finney-Smith, Tim Hardaway and Maxi Kleber.

Value Pivot/Stack: Christian Wood/P.J. Washington

NBA DFS 2/8 — C

DeAndre Ayton, PHO (vs. DEN) – DK $9,100

Game log watchers are going to steer clear of Ayton, but the truth is that the Suns didn’t really need that much from him as they blew out the Rockets. Like Porzingis, we could benefit from lower ownership because of the recent flop. Ayton is just too talented not to deploy against a Nuggets team that gets most of its production from the center position. Stacking opposing centers isn’t always a great idea, but this might be a chance to do it, as Jokic could have another triple-double tonight and post the highest DK score on the slate. Julius Randle is a viable pivot option for the fearless.

Pivot/Stack: Julius Randle/Nikola Jokic

NBA DFS 2/6 — PG

Coby White, CHI (vs. NO) – DK $3,800

We’ve got alot of higher-priced guys in the Fearless Five this week, so I’m starting offwith a value play who’s been known to have massive upside when the opportunity presentsitself. Kris Dunn is out (sprained MCL) for tonight’s tilt with New Orleans andTomas Satoransky is playing with an ankle injury, so we could see biggerminutes (25+) from White in a plus matchup at home. If you can afford LonzoBall, he’s a solid play at $6,900, and we could always pivot to Bryn Forbes – aSpurs guard who benefits from an excellent matchup with the Blazers.

Pivot/Stack: Bryn Forbes/Lonzo Ball

NBA DFS 2/6 — SG

Zach Lavine, CHI (vs. NO) – DK $8,400

There aren’t too many healthy scorers available for the Bulls, andLavine is the kind of guy who could go for 40+ real-life points and 60+ DKpoints in a matchup like this. Spending down to C.J. McCollum make sense if you’relooking to attack the Spurs, and it makes sense to get some exposure to Josh Hartin NO-CHI game stacks. James Harden is $12,400 on DK, and while he’s always athreat to go off, the matchup is a tougher one, so I’ll be fading him save fora few wild lineups and HOU-LAL game stacks in multi-entry.

Pivot/Stack: C.J. McCollum/Josh Hart

NBA DFS 2/6 — SF

LeBron James, LAL (vs. HOU) – DK $10,400

If you can afford LBJ tonight,he could be worth it – considering the Rockets yield decent fantasy points todistributors and versatile forwards. Anthony Davis is currently probable (andjust $9,700) with his typical shoulder soreness, and this may be a rareopportunity where you could roster both. Still – keep any eye on the injurynews leading up to lock and strongly consider King James regardless of AD’sstatus. If for some reason AD can’t go or is limited, then we can play both Jamesand Kyle Kuzma.

Pivot/Stack: Aaron Gordon/Kyle Kuzma

NBA DFS 2/6 — PF

Zion Williamson, NO (@ CHI) – DK $7,700

The price on Zion has risen, but this is by far the best spot he’s had in his young pro career to dominatefrom a DFS perspective. The Bulls are going to have massive problems containingthe rookie, who is nursing a minor toe injury that shouldn’t keep him fromregistering a double-double and filling up the stat sheet. Julius Randle shouldbe considered a high-upside, low-owned GPPs option as well in this price range andstacking the NO-CHI game provides an opportunity to roster Thaddeus Young – who’sin a great spot with so many Bulls PFs injured.

Pivot/Stack: Julius Randle/Thaddeus Young

NBA DFS 2/6 — C

Brook Lopez, MIL (vs. PHI) – DK $5,200

Lopez has been postingdecent numbers lately despite a horrible shooting percentage (1-for-15 from 3PTrange in his last three games), and if he gets 30 minutes and can knock down acouple of bombs, he’s a solid bet to make 7x value in a game where the Sixersare going to do everything they can to stop Giannis. It’s a tough matchup onpaper, which is why I love him for GPPs where he could see low ownership. LMA(eligible at PF/C/F/UTIL) vs. his old team the Blazers makes for an interestingpivot given his cheap price and putrid output against the Lakers Tuesday night.

Pivot/Stack: LaMarcus Aldridge/Joel Embiid
