We’re back with another Wednesday Night Win Daily NHL Article! We’ve been on an excellent run as of late here at WinDaily. Let’s make some more money tonight! On tonight’s slate, we have a small 4-gamer! Keep an eye on any COVID-19 news since it can change the whole outlook of the slate! With that said, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 2/16 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

2/16 NHL Stack Report

1. Colorado Avalanche 1
Rantanen – MacKinnon – Landeskog (FanDuel: $28,700 (over 50% of the salary cap) | DraftKings: $23,000)
Like with most slates, Colorado is coming into tonight’s slate with the highest implied goal total of the night at 3.5 and it would be even higher if they weren’t going up against the Golden Knights. FanDuel’s pricing has gotten so unusable that Colorado’s top line is completely unstackable on the site with the three linemates making up over 50% of your allotted salary. To get around this, I would recommend playing your favourite member of this line and pairing them with Cale Makar, it’s not much better but it’ll do. Luckily for DraftKings users, Colorado’s whole top line is very much in play. Considering the Golden Knights starter, Robin Lehner, is out with an upper body injury. It makes Colorado’s top line that much more appealing. All three play on the Aves top power play unit and are among the league leaders in scoring. (except for MacKinnon who spent some time out with an injury earlier in the season)
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Cale Makar (FD: $7,300 | DK: $7,200)

2. Florida Panthers 3
Marchment – Lundell – Reinhart (FanDuel: $17,900 | DraftKings: $11,000)
This line is a very sneaky value option, especially on DraftKings. Reinhart in particular has consistently been scoring despite being on the third line. Reinhart has still been seeing around 17-19 minutes of ice-time per game and over his last three games he has put together seven points! (4 goals, 3 assists) His linemates haven’t been too far off either with Marchment scoring 3 goals and 5 assists over his last three games and Lundell scoring 5 assists over his last two. Overall, this third line ends up seeing a considerable amount of ice time and has been scoring at a very high pace as of late, along with a 3.3 implied goal total.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Mackenzie Weegar (FD: $6,000 | DK: $4,800)

Honorable Mentions in order: MIN2 (Boldy-Gaudreau-Fiala), CAR1 (Teravainen-Aho-Necas), MIN1 (Zuccarello-Hartman-Kaprizov), CGY1 (Gaudreau-Lindhom-Tkachuk)

2/16 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jacob Markstrom (FD: $8,100 | DK: $8,000)
  2. Cam Talbot (FD: $8,400 | DK: $7,900)
    Honorable Mention(s): Frederik Andersen

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. John Gibson (FD: $7,100 | DK: $7,300)

2/16 NHL Wild Card Targets

Jack Eichel (FD: $5,500 | DK: $6,800)
Jack Eichel is making his season debut as the newest member of the Vegas Golden Knights and although he has had a bit of a year thus far, this is still Jack Eichel. For FanDuel users, he is nearly a must play, I can guarantee, he will not be at $5,500 for much longer on FanDuel. We are talking about a bonafied NHL superstar who was wasting talent with the Sabres. Even on DK, he is very cheap for the player he is, along with the role he is playing on the Golden Knights. Depending on how the rest of your line shapes up you can pair Eichel with Max Pacioretty, Evgenii Dadonov or both (all dependent on how much salary you have available). I would strongly recommend considering Eichel for your lines tonight as you are getting a very important value piece which wont be around in future slates, take advantage of it while you can.
Honorable Mention(s): Tyler Toffoli, Evgenii Dadonov, Troy Terry

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Jack Eichel

Winger Matt Boldy

Defence Tony DeAngelo

Goalie Jacob Markstrom

We’re back with a rare edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! So hyped that I get to share my thoughts with you on this great slate! Let’s kick off Super Bowl Weekend with a bang! On tonight’s slate, we have a medium-sized 5-gamer! Keep an eye on any COVID-19 news since it can change the whole outlook of the slate! With that said, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 2/12 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

2/12 NHL Stack Report

  1. Toronto Maple Leafs 1
    Marner – Matthews – Bunting (FanDuel: $24,700 | DraftKings: $20,100)
This line has been excellent as of late with both Matthews and Marner scoring at will, with Bunting getting points on the side as a result. This line puts up the craziest stats that it would be hard to encapsulate in just one paragraph but the stat lines for all three of them have simply been insane. Bunting for example has five goals and an assist over his last five games along with 14 shots. Matthews has six goals and five assists over that same time (with a whopping 26 shots) and Marner slightly leads the pack with six goals and six assists over his last five games. (29 shots to boot) It’s safe to say that this line has been performing extremley well and find themselves in a very favourable position for tonight’s slate against a Canucks side who’s lost two of their last three and with one of the highest implied totals of the slate at 3.5. With the best power play in the league, and dangerous players on each side of their top line, it’s clear that the Leafs are the line I will prioritize in my builds tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Morgan Rielly (FD: $6,600 | DK: $5,900)
  2. St. Louis Blues 1
    Kyrou – O’Reilly – Schenn (FanDuel: $19,300 | DraftKings: $15,800)
The Blues are an interesting play as they provide a lot of value on a slate where value is as good as gold. Not only do they see top minutes a decent price, but they have been scoring really well as of late and are coming into tonight against an underperforming Blackhawks side. Last game alone, this line comined for two goals and an assist in their barn burner against the New Jersey Devils. If anything, that game cemented Husso’s spot as the Blues top netminder and it has seemed as though the Blues have just played better hockey in front of him this season. All three of the top line see power play time with Schenn and O’Reilly on the first unit and Kyrou on the second. It should come as no surprise that the Blues implied total is coming in around a similar spot as the Leafs at 3.5 as they are benefitting from a solid matchup tonight against a team who has dropped three of their last four games.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Torey Krug (FD: $5,400 | DK: $5,300)

    Honorable Mentions in order: NSH1 (Forsberg-Granlund-Duchene), CGY1 (Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk)

2/12 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Ville Husso (FD: $7,900 | DK: $8,300)
  2. Jacob Markstrom (FD: $8,100 | DK: $8,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Petr Mrazek

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Marc-Andre Fleury (FD: $7,000 | DK: $7,100)
    Honorable Mention(s): Eric Comrie

2/12 NHL Wild Card Targets

Andrew Mangiapane (FD: $6,600 | DK: $3,300)
To say Mangiapane has been great as of late would be an understatement. Over his past four games, he’s put together four goals and two assists along with 10 shots on goal and an average of 15-16 minutes of ice time. Mangiapane had cooled a bit from his strong start to the season, which dramatically dropped his price on DraftKings, but he’s now regained his scoring touch and comes into tonight as a strong value piece for a loaded Flames lineup (more so on DK). Mangiapane sees time on Calgary’s second power-play unit and works as a one-off play or in a mini-stack alongside fellow winger Blake Coleman.
Honorable Mention(s): Matt Boldy, Noah Dobson

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Auston Matthews

Winger Jordan Kyrou

Defence Tony DeAngelo (Roman Josi if you have NSH exposure)

Goalie Ville Husso

2/9 NHL Stack Report

  1. Seattle Kraken 1
    Eberle – McCann – Johansson (FanDuel: $15,900 | DraftKings: $15,300)
I never thought we’d see the day this season but here we are. Seattle is our top team of the slate. It has less to do with how well they’ve been playing (even though their top line has been quite good) but it’s more so about how bad their opponents are. Other than Montreal, it’s hard to find a team who has been playing worse than the Arizona Coyotes, and on top of that they’re on the second half of a back to back, where they got shelled en route to a 5-1 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. Every player on the Kraken’s top line sees good minutes and is reasonably affordable and on top of that they have all be playing great hockey as of late as they come into tonight with the best odds and the second highest implied total.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Mark Giordano (FD: $5,600 | DK: $6,100)
  2. Calgary Flames 1
    Tkachuk – Lindholm – Gaudreau (FanDuel: $24,000 | DraftKings: $22,800)
It should come as no surprise that we’re going with the Flames here tonight. Each member of their top line has consistently been meeting their standard game in and game out. Johnny Gaudreau for example has 10 points over his last 6 games and has had four 3+ point games since the start of the new year. Calgary’s top line has been scoring at an extremely high rate and tonight, they’ll be up against a tired Vegas team who is coming into Calgary after a win late last night in Edmonton. With Calgary coming into tonight with the fresher lineup accompanied by a 3.3 implied goal total. I would recommend having some exposure to Calgary’s top line tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Rasmus Andersson (FD: $5,300 | DK: $5,200)

    Honorable Mentions in order: EDM1 (Kane-McDavid-Yamamoto), DET2 (Bertuzzi-Suter-Fabbri), DAL1 (Pavelski-Hintz-Robertson)

2/9 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jacob Markstrom (FD: $7,900 | DK: $7,900)
  2. Phillip Grubauer (FD: $8,200 | DK: $8,200)
Honorable Mention(s): Ilya Sorokin, Jake Oettinger, (DEEP GPP – Robin Lehner)

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Scott Wedgewood (FD: $6,700 | DK: $7,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Alex Nedeljkovic

2/9 NHL Wild Card Targets

Blake Coleman (FD: $5,100 | DK: $4,100)
We already know why we’re so high on Calgary as a team tonight, but even though I recommend prioritizing the top line, it’s worth noting how good Blake Coleman has been as of late. He’s been an absolute stud and he popped off in his last game for two goals and one assist. He’s still modestly priced on both sites after a performance like that. So, if you’re interested in having some exposure to Calgary but cant fit in their top line guys, I’d highly recommend going with Blake Coleman as either a one off play or alongside defenseman Oliver Kylington.
Honorable Mention(s): Robbie Fabbri, Calle Jarnkrok, Derick Brassard, Anthony Beauvilier-Noah Dobson

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

2/2 NHL Stack Report

  1. Calgary Flames 1
    Tkachuk – Lindholm – Gaudreau (FanDuel: $23,900 | DraftKings: $21,300)
In this matchup we have far and away the biggest favourites on the slate, the Calgary Flames, taking on the struggling Arizona Coyotes. Both teams played last night and won, with Arizona being the more surpising win of the two. Prior to last night however, the Yotes were on a five game losing streak which included blowout games where they were giving up 6 or 7 goals to offences that aren’t even as strong as the offence they’ll be up against tonight. It’s no suprise that Gaudreau and Tkachuk have been top performers at a consistent level but now Lindholm is getting more involved on the score sheet and his price is relatively affordable for a top line centre on the strongest line of the slate. As top lines go, they are very affordable and see themselves in the best matchup on the slate. Of course, the Yotes’ defensive stats are horrible and so are Karel Vejmelka (Yotes’ starter) as he holds an abysmal GAA of 3.39 and he is also on a three game losing streak where he’s averaged 5 goals allowed per game. All three of Calgary’s top line forwards play on the Flames top power play unit against the worst Penalty Kill in the NHL. The Flames top line are as close as you can get to a must play tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Rasmus Andersson (FD: $5,200 | DK: $5,200)
  2. Edmonton Oilers 1
    Kane – McDavid – Yamamoto (FanDuel: $19,700 | DraftKings: $18,100)
The main reason why I like this line so much is that despite the fact that McDavid is priced really high, his ceiling is so high that he can still be a good contributor on a regular basis. On top of that, he is flanked by two wingers who are grossly underpriced. For starters, anyone who is playing alongside Connor McDavid gets an auto boost in my book and the Oilers have decided to pair McDavid with the recently signed Evander Kane. Nobody should deny Kane’s skill on the ice and if he would have started at the beginning of this season, I can guarantee that Kane would be priced up in the 8 or 9 K range, so the fact that he is currently at the 5 to 6 K range is a bargain in and of itself. They’re going up against Ilya Samsonov tonight, who has lost four of his last five starts and has averaged over three goals against over his last five games. On top of that Evander Kane will see power play time on the second unit and McDavid will see power play time on the first. So for tonight, prioritize Edmonton’s top line while they’re still cheap.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Evan Bouchard (FD: $6,200 | DK: $6,300)

    Honorable Mentions in order: NYI2 (Beauvilier-Nelson-Palmieri), MIN1 (Zuccarello-Hartman-Kaprizov), LAK1 (Kempe-Kopitar-Iafallo)

2/2 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Dan Vladar (FD: $8,300 | DK: $8,300)
  2. Cam Talbot (FD: $8,500 | DK: $8,100)
    Honorable Mention(s): Semyon Varlamov

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Karel Vejmelka (FD: $6,600 | DK: $7,100)
    Honorable Mention(s): Alex Nedeljkovic

2/2 NHL Wild Card Targets

Matt Boldy (FD: $4,500 | DK: $3,600)
We have to go back to the well on Boldy. He came through for us big time on Sunday as our Wild Card and his price is still extremely cheap. After the last game, Boldy is now a point-per-game player who is seeing 15-18 minutes a game including time on Minnesota’s top power-play unit. Unsurprisingly, Minnesota is coming into tonight’s slate with the highest implied goal total at 3.7 and picking up a piece of their strong offense at this price can’t be ignored.
Honorable Mention(s): Jordan Eberle, Robbie Fabbri, Connor Murphy

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Welcome, everyone! We’re back with a brand new Sunday Night Win Daily NHL Article! Last Sunday’s article was really strong. So, let’s keep up the momentum and let’s get some takedowns tonight! Get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 1/30 NHL slate, we have a smaller four gamer and the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get right into it!

1/30 NHL Stack Report

  1. Colorado Avalanche 1
    Nichushkin – Rantanen – Landeskog (FanDuel: $25,100 | DraftKings: $18,900)
Unsurprisingly, the Aves are the favourites of the slate. They are among the league’s top tier and are going up against a Sabres side who played last night and have notoriously had goalie troubles as of late. With MacKinnon sidelined with a concussion this line’s affordability makes them an almost must play. Landeskog has seen the lionshare of points as of late, however, Rantanen has seen more success throughout the season. All in all, we see a top team against one of the league’s bottom feeders with a 4.5 implied goal total (highest on the slate by far) along with some of the best offensive stats in the league for the home side (first in shooting percentage, first in goals). Not to mention, as a team, the Avalanche are on a nine game winning streak while Buffalo has three wins in their last 7 games. In cash games, prioritize Colorado’s top line, especially Nichushkin.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Cale Makar (FD: $7,500 | DK: $7,500)
  2. Dallas Stars 1
    Robertson – Hintz – Pavelski (FanDuel: $24,300 | DraftKings: $20,000)
Despite an off game against the Caps last time out (they had a goal called back for offside early in the game), Dallas’ top line are still one of the best in the league this season and they will definitely prove to be a handful for Linus Ullmark and the Bruins tonight. The Stars are coming into tonight’s game with a respectable 3.0 implied goal total and I suspect that it is negatively influenced based off their last game, which was not indicative of their overall performances as of late. When these guys score they score in bunches, Hintz alone has had four multipoint games over his last five games, consistently meeting his value. His linemates Pavelski and Robertson are both scoring at over a point per game pace as well this season. (Pavelski 48 points in 41 games, Robertson 39 points in 33 games). Dallas also has an excellent record of 14-5-1 at home which compliments their four wins over their last five games. This is definitely not an easy matchup for the Stars tonight, but the production out of Dallas’ top line has been excellent and I would look to them as a nice higher end stack in tonight’s slate.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Miro Heiskanen (Ryan Suter works as a salary saver) (FD: $5,600 | DK: $4,800)

    Honorable Mention(s): MIN1 (Zuccarello-Hartman-Kaprizov), CBJ1 (Laine-Jenner-Nyquist), BOS2 (Pastrnak-Haula-Hall)

1/30 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Darcy Kuemper (FD: $8,500 | DK: $8,300)
  2. Jake Oettinger (FD: $7,700 | DK: $7,600)
    Honorable Mention(s): Joonas Korpisalo

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Cayden Primeau (FD: $6,700 | DK: $7,500)
    Honorable Mention(s): Dustin Tokasrski

1/30 NHL Wild Card Targets

Matthew Boldy (FD: $4,500 | DK: $3,000)
– Boldy hit the ground running since making his NHL debut earlier this month. The rookie winger is now seeing time on Minnesota’s top power-play unit alongside offensive juggernauts like Kaprizov and Zuccarello. Boldy has already registered two multipoint games in his young career and has put together seven points in just eight games. Boldy is steadily seeing more playing time as well, averaging around 17 to 18 minutes a game. He’s coming into tonight red hot with three points and eight shots over his last two games. Considering how low his price is, it’s hard to not lock in Boldy tonight. He works as a one off but also stacks well with his linemates on the third line (Gaudreau-Fiala) as well as his power play linemates (Zuccarello-Kaprizov-Spurgeon).
Honorable Mention(s): Alexander Beauvilier-Noah Dobson, Alex Tuch, Tyler Toffoli

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Center Mikko Rantanen (listed as a winger on FanDuel)

Winger Matthew Boldy

We’re back with another Wednesday Night Win Daily NHL Article! We’ve been on an excellent run as of late here at WinDaily. Let’s make some more money tonight! On tonight’s slate, we have a medium-sized 5-gamer! Keep an eye on any COVID-19 news since it can change the whole outlook of the slate! With that said, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 1/26 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

1/26 NHL Stack Report

  1. Calgary Flames 1
    Tkachuk – Lindholm – Gaudreau (FanDuel: $23,800 | DraftKings: $18,200)
It’s really hard to ignore how the flames have been playing as of late and tonight they are in a prime position to pile on top of a struggling Blue Jackets team who have lost 7 in their last 10 games. The Jackets are also one of the worst teams in the league in both Shots allowed (34.6) and goals against (3.54). The Flames themselves have put together an average of five goals per game over their last three games and over those three games, the Flames top line have put together 21 points (mostly from Tkachuk and Gaudreau). All three of the Flames top liners play on the Flames top powerplay unit but in order to save some salary you can opt for the other members of the power play (Monahan and Andersson) while keeping Tkachuk and Gaudreau. At an implied total of 3.5, I recommend prioritizing Calgary’s top line as an afforable(-ish) group to start your builds tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Rasmus Andersson (FD: $4,700 | DK: $4,500)
  2. Toronto Maple Leafs 2
    Mikheyev – Tavares – Marner (FanDuel: $20,000 | DraftKings: $16,400)
Toronto recently threw their lines in the blender and out came some different but still interesting line matches. The most intriguing one for me from a DFS perspective is the new look second line with two of the leagues best alongside a blooming forward in Ilya Mikheyev. Together, this line has put togehter 9 points over their last three games and the Leafs in general are coming into tonight as the largest favourite on the slate (-295) with the highest implied total at (3.9). It’s not too hard to see why, the Leafs have been electric as of late, winning 7 of their last 10 games and averaging four goals over their last three games. Toronto’s power play as also blossomed to one of the best in the league as they currently sit at an insane 29% conversion rate on the power play. The new-look top line with Matthews alongside two value plays is also intriguing but I do like Toronto’s second line as it is much more complete and every player on the ice is dangerous. Everyone on this line sees power play time with Marner and Tavares on the top unit, while Mikheyev is on the second power play unit. The Ducks goalie has been generally ok this season but has shown a bit of inconsistency, realistically its hard to play against Toronto in general this season, so I would stay away from Gibson for DFS purposes.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Morgan Rielly (FD: $6,300 | DK: $5,700)

    Honorable Mentions in order: DET2 (Bertuzzi-Suter-Fabbri), COL1 (Rantanen-MacKinnon-Landeskog), TOR1 (Kase-Matthews-Bunting)

1/26 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jack Campbell (FD: $8,600 | DK: $8,300)
  2. Jacob Markstrom (FD: $8,400 | DK: $7,900)
    Honorable Mention(s): James Reimer

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. John Gibson (FD: $6,800 | DK: $7,100)
    Honorable Mention(s): Elvis Merzlikins

1/26 NHL Wild Card Targets

Robby Fabbri (FD: $4,800 | DK: $3,000)
Fabbri has been decent as of late, recording three points over his last four games along with 14 points over that time. Tonight’s he is going to be paired with much stronger linemates than usual as Tyler Bertuzzi and Pius Suter are joining him on Detroit’s second line. Bertuzzi in particular has been extremely productive as of late with two goals and six assists over his last four games. Fabbri will also see time alongside Bertuzzi on the Red Wings top power-play unit, so at his price (especially on DraftKings) he is definitely worth a shot and fits the moniker “Wild Card” very well coming into tonight’s slate.
Honorable Mention(s): Michael Bunting, Ilya Mikheyev, Sean Monahan, Alexander Barabanov

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Auston Matthews (or Pius Suter w/ a DET2 Stack)

Winger Ilya Mikheyev (Bunting works as a replacement to complete the Matthews stack)

We’re back with a brand new Sunday Night Win Daily NHL Article! We only had one game last Sunday so those in the discord saw the single-game notes and for those that used them, I hope they were able to help you turn a profit. Today we are back with a small 4-game. So, let’s keep up the momentum and let’s get some takedowns tonight! Get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 1/23 NHL slate, the slate begins at 6:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get right into it!

The Blues have been on quite the roll as of late posting six wins over their last eight games, their offense in particular has been clicking as of late as the Blues have scored at least 5 goals in each of their last three games. This line in particular has been responsible for a lot of the uptick in offense as these three have been involved in 8 of the Blues last 15 goals. The whole Blues top line also plays on their top power play unit. The Blues are coming into tonight with a 3.1 implied goal total and are up against a Canucks side who have dropped four of their last six contests. The Canucks starting goaltender Thatcher Demko has been extremley inconsistent this season and is currently projected to be sidelined as he is on the Canucks COVID-19 list. Since their back-up Jaroslav Halak is also on the COVID-19 list, the Canucks may have to turn to rookie goalie Spencer Martin again, who despite having a strong performance in his last contest against the Panthers has not had enough NHL experience to deal with a lot of setbacks. If the Blues can pounce on the Canucks early, this one could get ugly.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Torey Krug (Colton Parayko works as a salary saver) (FD: $5,500 | DK: $5,400)
  2. Florida Panthers 1
    Verhaeghe – Barkov – Reinhart (FanDuel: $21,500 | DraftKings: $20,000)
The Panthers have easily been one of the best offensive teams in hockey as of late, as they currently sit first in the league with eight wins over their last ten games. The whole Panthers top line is among their team’s top five in scoring and are coming into the slate at a very reasonable price for a powerhouse line (ie TOR1 or COL1). As far as I see it, the Panthers top line are far and away the top high-end play of the slate and I would prioritize getting them in your line up tonight for their matchup against the Seattle Kraken. The Panthers have the highest implied total of the slate at 4.0 and it is very justified as the Kraken currently allow an average of 3.6 GA/G and currently sit as the fourth-worst team in the entire league. The starting goalie for the Kraken, Philipp Grubauer has been abysmal this season with a 9-15-4 record along with a 3.26 GAA and a .883 SV%. Despite some recent success against the Sharks and the Hawks, Grubauer hasn’t shown up against an offense like the Panthers and I predict that he will struggle mightly with them in tonight’s matchup. Of Florida’s top two lines, the top line has been performing better as of late but the second line with Jonathan Huberdeau is also playable as the Panthers have scoring threats up and down their lineup. Over their last two games alone, their top line has been involved in five of the Panthers’ six goals and all of the Panthers’ top line players play on the Panthers power-play with Reinhart and Barkov on the first unit and Verhaeghe on the second unit.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Aaron Ekblad (Brandon Montour works as a salary saver) (FD: $7,000 | DK: $7,300)

    Honorable Mention(s): CBJ1 (Nyquist-Jenner-Bjorkstrand), NJD1 (Bratt-Hughes-Sharangovich), OTT1 (Batherson-Norris-Tkachuk)

1/23 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Sergei Bobrovsky (FD: $8,400 | DK: $8,400)
  2. Jordan Binnington (Ville Husso is better if he plays) (FD: $7,900 | DK: $8,000)
    Honorable Mention(s): Mackenzie Blackwod

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Matt Murray (FD: $7,200 | DK: $7,700)
    Honorable Mention(s): Philipp Grubauer

1/23 NHL Wild Card Targets

Yegor Sharangovich (FD: $4,300 | DK: $4,100)
– With the way Sharangovich has been playing, I am honestly shocked that he’s remained as cheap as he is. Especially on FanDuel where they have raised player prices tremendously high this season. Sharangovich sees top-line minutes alongside Hughes and Bratt and over his last six games, he has scored six points (4 G, 2 A) and has averaged 3 shots a game. Tonight, Sharangovich and the Devils will be up against a Kings side that is currently on a three-game skid and has a sub-par record on the road of just 7-6-3. The Devils have an implied total of 2.9 and the goalie they’re going up against (Quick) has surrendered 9 goals over his last two starts.
Honorable Mention(s): Nils Hoglander, Calle Jarnkrok, Alex Formenton-Artem Zub (small value stack)

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Alexander Barkov

Winger Yegor Sharangovich

Defenseman – Brandon Montour

Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky

On tonight’s slate, we have another small 3-gamer! Keep an eye on any COVID-19 news since it can change the whole outlook of the slate! With that said, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 1/19 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

1/19 NHL Stack Report

  1. Toronto Maple Leafs 1
    Bunting – Matthews – Marner (FanDuel: $21,300 | DraftKings: $18,400)
It’s been really hard to ignore the Leafs as of late. Despite them not playing too many games, every time they go out on the ice, they make a significant offensive impact. (excluding the Arizona game…) Despite some early hiccups, the Leafs are coming into this one as one of the best offensive teams in the league with 3.39 Goals a game and a 29.7% conversion rate on the power play. Unsurprisingly, Matthews has embarked on another five-game point streak and sits two goals out of the league lead. Toronto’s top line is also very affordable as Marner’s price hasnt been raised too high. The implied total of 3.1 is on the top half of this slate and Vegas is respecting Toronto’s offense on the road tonight in the Big Apple, I will do the same.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Morgan Rielly (FD: $6,400 | DK: $5,900)
  2. Arizona Coyotes 1
    Keller – Boyd – Schmaltz (FanDuel: $15,000 | DraftKings: $11,900)
Far and away one of the cheapest top lines on the slate and for what its worth, they havent been too bad as of late. Arizona has been making small improvements to move them out of “worst team in the league” status. For all of Arizona’s troubles this season, the Devils haven’t been much better, especially as of late as Mackenize Blackwood has let in at least three goals in eight of his last nine starts. Clayton Keller in particular has been a solid bright spot this season as he has been very consistent recently with 6 points in his last 6 games and 12 points in his last 10 games. With an affordable offense coupled with facing a shakey goaltender, the Yotes are an interesting option for tonights small slate, especially in GPP formats where you need to separate yourself from the pack.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Shayne Gostisbehere (FD: $5,700 | DK: $5,300)

    Honorable Mentions in order: ANA2 (Comtois-Zegras-Silfverberg), NJD1 (Tatar-Hughes-Sharangovich), NJD3 (Johnsson-Mercer-Boqvist)

1/19 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jack Campbell (FD: $8,400 | DK: $7,800)
  2. Pavel Francouz (FD: $8,200 | DK: $8,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Igor Shesterkin

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Karel Vejmelka (FD: $6,900 | DK: $7,400)

1/19 NHL Wild Card Targets

Ilya Mikheyev (FD: $6,000 | DK: $4,100)
Mikheyev has been consistently solid since he has returned from injury/COVID. 5 goals and 1 assist in seven games is nothing to scoff at considering he started the season very late. Mikheyev is consistently seeing around 15-minutes a game and sees time on the Leafs’ second power-play unit where he’s already registered two power-play goals. Mikheyev offers better value on DraftKings but he works as a one-off option on both sites.
Honorable Mention(s): Adam Fox, Johan Larsson, Andre Burakovsky, Barclay Goodrow, William Nylander

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Auston Matthews

Winger Andre Burakovsky

Defence Shayne Gostisbehere

Goalie Jack Campbell

1/12 NHL Stack Report

  1. Toronto Maple Leafs 1
    Bunting – Matthews – Kase (FanDuel: $20,600 | DraftKings: $18,100)
On a small slate its hard to not look at a line like Toronto’s top line. Matthews has carried this line and as a result both Bunting and Kase have benefitted. I really like how well they’ve been able to play together during Marner’s absence their prices have remained fairly reasonable despite their recent success. Matthews himself is off to another stellar season with 37 points in 31 games, with an average well over four SOGs per game. I’ll be starting my builds with Matthews tonight as the Leafs are suiting up against the league bottom feeders in the Arizona Coyotes on the second half of a back-to-back. It should come as no surprise that the Leafs have the highest implied total at 4.3 and spectacular odds at -330.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Morgan Rielly (FD: $6,700 | DK: $6,500)
  2. Dallas Stars 1
    Robertson – Hintz – Pavelski (FanDuel: $21,300 | DraftKings: $18,900)
I dont think there have been lines that have been more complete than Dallas’ top line. Every member of this line knows their role and regularly contributes. So much so, that they’re a positive factor in every game Dallas’ plays. They are currently on a bit of a hot streak as well with 21 combined points over their last five games (9 G, 12 A). They average around 18 minutes a game and all see time on Dallas’ top power play unit. Tonight they’ll but up against one of the worst teams in the league, expansion side Seattle Kraken, who have lost their last six games and are 1-7-2 over their last 10. Starting between the pipes for the Kraken is Philipp Grubauer who has been one of the worst starting goalies this season posting an abysmal 3.34 GAA along with a .882 SV%. This will give Dallas a great opportunity to avenge their last game where the lead and their four-game win streak slipped out of their grasp late in the game against the high-flying Blues. Unsurprisingly, the stars are heavy favourites at -205 and have an implied total of 3.6 goals. Expect the Stars to put on a clinic tonight at American Airlines Centre (Dallas, TX).
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Miro Heiskanen (FD: $5,600 | DK: $6,400)

    Honorable Mentions in order: BOS2 (Hall-Haula-Pastrnak), BOS1 (Smith-Bergeron-Marchand), TOR2 (Nylander-Tavares-Kerfoot)

1/12 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jake Oettinger (FD: $7,800 | DK: $7,800)
  2. Petr Mrazek (FD: $8,600 | DK: $8,400)
    Honorable Mention(s): Linus Ullmark

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Philipp Grubauer (FD: $7,400 | DK: $7,600)
Honorable Mention(s): Scott Wedgewood, Jake Allen

1/12 NHL Wild Card Targets

Jeff Petry (FD: $3,700 | DK: $4,900)  (Better on FD)
The Montreal Canadiens are in a bad spot tonight, that’s not a surprise to anyone. They haven’t played a game since New Year’s day and when they lost 5-2 to the Panthers. That game made their 10 on in an abysmal 1-7-2… and that one win came against a struggling Flyers side in a shootout. To say they have been bad this season is an understatement, BUT we cannot overlook the skill that we know these players have, I am not saying they’re going to win but it is worth looking at when we have quality players whose prices are at rock bottom. Especially on FanDuel, where they have been raising everyone’s price lately. Jeff Petry strikes me as a deep GPP play and the essence of a Wild Card play should be. We see someone who has had a rough start to the 2021-22 season but scored 42 points in 55 games just last season! He’ll let you fit in some of the slate’s more expensive players and has some upside. Tread with caution and for DraftKings, I would largely disregard this as the value just isn’t there. Instead, I would stick with Ilya Mikheyev (DK $3,900, 5 points in four games since coming off COVID Protocol).
Honorable Mention(s): Ilya Mikheyev (Better on DK), Matt Grzelcyk, Alex Kerfoot

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Auston Matthews

Winger Jason Robertson

We’re back with a brand new Sunday Night Win Daily NHL Article! Let’s keep up the great performances after a strong start to 2022! Tonight, we have a small 2-game slate. So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 1/9 NHL slate, the slate begins at 2:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

1/9 NHL Stack Report

  1. St. Louis Blues 2
    Kyrou – Schenn – Thomas (FanDuel: $17,000 | DraftKings: $15,500)
It’s really hard to ignore what this line has been able to accomplish as of late, and with Tarasenko dropping off due to COVID-19 protocol, this line is actually very affordable despite their recent success. Each member of this line has at least four points in their last three games (Kyrou has 9 in his last 4) meaning that they’ve been able to find consistent success alone and as a group considering they have been together for one game. This afternoon, they’ll be coming in as the home favourites against a team that pulled out a gritty 3-2 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins yesterday. The Blues have more offensive threats than the Pens were able to offer yesterday and are currently 4th in the league in goals per game this season and today that’ll be emphasized further as Holtby is set to start for the Stars. Holby has lost three of his last four starts and even in his last start where he won, he still coughed up 5 goals. The Blues also hold the highest implied total of the slate at 3.4. For this two gamer, I would highly recommend starting your builds with the Blues second line.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Torey Krug (FD: $5,100 | DK: $5,400)
  2. Dallas Stars 1
    Robertson – Hintz – Pavelski (FanDuel: $22,000 | DraftKings: $19,700)
It was hard to pick a second line for today’s slate but there’s no doubting the recent success Dallas’ top line has had. These three have been clicking as a unit, including in yesterday’s game where they were involved in all three goals in the comeback win. Dallas is in a tricky spot in the back-to-back here but their chances of winning this game starts with their top line. I have been extremely impressed with the performances of Jason Robertson in particular and if you need to prioritize one player of this line, make it Robertson. The Stars are going up against a rather inconsistent goaltender in Jordan Binnington and that can play to their advantage. Neither team in this game is particularly defensive minded and can work well together in a game stack. The Stars are also currently on a four-game winning streak where they have scored at least three goals in each of those games so there is definitely something to be said about their success as of late. Their price makes it a difficult line to work with (especially on FanDuel) but if you can squeeze in at least a couple of pieces from this line, they have the potential to pay of big time!
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): John Klingberg (FD: $4,900 | DK: $5,200)

    Honorable Mention(s): DET1 (Bertuzzi-Larkin-Raymond), DAL2 (Benn-Seguin-Gurianov)

1/9 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Anthony Stolarz (FD: $7,900 | DK: $8,000)
  2. Jordan Binnington (FD: $8,300 | DK: $8,300)
    Honorable Mention(s): Alex Nedeljkovic

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. N/A (FD: $-,— | DK: $-,—)

1/9 NHL Wild Card Targets

Trevor Zegras (FD: $6,200 | DK: $6,200)
– He’s finally back. After clearing the extended COVID-19 protocol and shaking off a few cobwebs, this is the first game back where I am comfortable hopping back on the Zegras train. It’s a small two-gamer so there isn’t a lot of other top spots to go and as far as Zegras goes, he is the definition of a wild card. It’s hard to say what’ll happen but Detroit is coming in on the second half of a road back-to-back with their goalie Nedjelkovic facing 41 shots! Detroit will be very tired with the Ducks implied total set to 3.0, I am very interested in Zegras today as either a one-off play OR alongside winger Sonny Milano
Honorable Mention(s): Denis Gurianov, Tyler Bertuzzi

Winger Jordan Kyrou
