Daily Fantasy Sports Saturday 2/13 EPL DFS Richard Masana 3 years ago written by Richard Masana This article focuses on 2/13 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format. The goal is to gain an edge on the field at large. Saturday 2/13 EPL Slate and DFS GameplanAs the soccer season continues to heat up, let’s get ready for an EPL Saturday morning before Champion’s League resumes this Tuesday/Wednesday. There are three games on tap, for what should be another relatively low scoring slate. The first game in particular might allow us to catch some extra rest. Notable Goal Scoring Odds and Game BreakdownsNote: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below and projected starters are listed in bold. Burnley (+215) at Crystal Palace (+148) – Jean-Philippe Mateta (+255), Christian Benteke (+255), Ashley Barnes (+265), Michy Batshuayi (+265), Matej Vydra (+285), Jay Rodriguez (+295), Jordan Ayew (+325)This game should be a total snooze. Double check your lineups and just go back to sleep! I must say, I do like the goalies here, but little else is appealing. Tottenham (+750) at Manchester City (-315) – Sergio Aguero (+104) “Very unlikely to start”, Raheem Sterling (+105), Gabriel Jesus (+148), Phil Foden (+160), Ilkay Gundogan (+160), Riyad Mahrez (+170), Harry Kane (+290), Bernardo Silva (+300), Son Heung-Min (+380)These two normally play fairly tight games. However, the inevitable 2021 EPL Champions, Manchester City, are undefeated in their last 23 games in all competitions. They have been boosted by what has been the world’s best defense during that span. The center back combo of John Stones and Ruben Dias have solidified what was once this team’s most glaring weakness. When combined with the emergence of young stud Phil Foden and the inspired play of Ilkay Gundogan, expect City to be chalk, yet again. Aston Villa (+155) at Brighton (+170) – Neal Maupay (+163), Ollie Watkins (+170), Keinan Davis (+240), Danny Welbeck (+245), Aaron Connolly (+245), Andi Zeqiri (+260), Anwar El-Ghazi (+265), Jack Grealish (+340), Ross Barkley (+340), Bertrand Traore (+340)An intriguing late game, I certainly think you can pick off some pieces here. As far as the Brighton side goes, Pascal Gros should be popular in cash games with Neal Maupay at a discount once again for tournaments. EPL Best Odds*Harry Kane or Son Heung-Min to Score* (+290/+380) – 0.20 Units – “DraftKings Sportsbook”DraftKings | FanDuel The Betting Game PlanMan City has been playing amazing defense as of late, sure. However, what sort of world do we live in when Harry Kane and Son’s goal odds come in similar to Bernardo Silva’s in the same game? Neal Maupay has around double their odds to score; this is just not a world in which to raise your children. That said, I probably would not parlay both Harry Kane and Son to score. It would be a big ask for both to score. Furthermore, they are awful DFS plays at their prices, so you’re better off taking these discounted goal odds and hoping one of them hits. 2/13 EPL FanDuel Rankings “Set pieces less important on FanDuel”Forward/MidfieldIlkay Gundogan – Manchester City – $18 “Share of Set Pieces”Phil Foden – Manchester City – $17 “Share of Set Pieces”Raheem Sterling – Manchester City – $23Jack Grealish – Aston Villa – $19Pascal Gros – Brighton – $13 “Set Pieces”Gabriel Jesus – Manchester City – $21Neal Maupay – Brighton – $17Ollie Watkins – Aston Villa – $21Bertrand Traore – Aston Villa – $13Jean-Phillipe Mateta – Crystal Palace – $11Harry Kane – Tottenham – $20Son Heung-Min – Tottenham – $18Leandro Trossard – Brighton – $15Eberechi Eze – Crystal Palace – $13Bernardo Silva – Manchester City – $14Defense Ben White – Brighton – $6Matt Targett – Aston Villa – $12Matty Cash – Aston Villa – $11Joel Veltman – Brighton – $9Davinson Sanchez – Tottenham – $10GoaliesRobert Sanchez – Brighton – $7Vicente Guaita – Crystal Palace – $11Nick Pope – Burnley – $102/13 EPL DraftKings Rankings ForwardGabriel Jesus – Manchester City – $6,800Pascal Gros – Brighton – $8,400 “Set Pieces”Dwight McNeil – Burnley – $6,900 “Share of Set Pieces”Raheem Sterling – Manchester City – $9,500 Neal Maupay – Brighton – $6,200Ollie Watkins – Aston Villa – $8,000Bertrand Traore – Aston Villa – $7,500Bernardo Silva – Manchester City – $7,100Jay Rodriguez – Burnley – $3,600MidfieldPhil Foden – Manchester City – $8,600 “Share of Set Pieces”Ilkay Gundogan – Manchester City – $8,500 “Share of Set Pieces”Jack Grealish – Aston Villa – $9,100Pascal Gros – Brighton – $8,400 “Set Pieces”Ashley Westwood – Burnley – $5,100 “Share of Set Pieces”Dwight McNeil – Burnley – $6,900 “Share of Set Pieces”Raheem Sterling – Manchester City – $9,500Bertrand Traore – Aston Villa – $7,500Bernardo Silva – Manchester City – $7,100Alexis Mac Allister – Brighton – $4,200Defense Matt Targett – Aston Villa – $4,600Matty Cash – Aston Villa – $4,700Joel Veltman – Brighton – $4,100Ruben Dias – Manchester City – $3,800Joao Cancelo – Manchester City – $5,600GoaliesNick Pope – Burnley – $4,500Vicente Guaita – Crystal Palace – $5,100Emiliano Martinez – Aston Villa – $4,900Robert Sanchez – Brighton – $4,700Make sure to hop in our Expert Discord Chat for FREE! However, his West Ham debut could not have gone better with two goals. He had not played at all recently at Manchester United, but at only 28, there is certainly a lot of gas in the tank. Now that his mind is free and he is getting playing time, there may be more goals to come. Lingard is a strong candidate to resurrect his career. 2/6 EPL FanDuel Rankings “Set pieces less important on FanDuel”Forward/MidfieldBruno Fernandes – Manchester United – $23 “Share of Set Pieces”Pascal Gros – Brighton – $13 “Set Pieces”James Ward-Prowse – Southampton – $18 “Set Pieces”Callum Wilson – Newcastle – $16Michail Antonio – West Ham – $20Edinson Cavani – Manchester United – $17Danny Ings – Southampton – $19Neal Maupay – Brighton – $16Anthony Martial – Manchester United – $17Marcus Rashford – Manchester United – $21Tomas Soucek – West Ham – $18Jesse Lingard – West Ham – $14Jonjo Shelvey – Newcastle – $12 “Share of Set Pieces”Dominic Calvert-Lewin – Everton – $18James Rodriguez – Everton – $17 “Set Pieces”Defense Fabian Schar – Newcastle – $8Victor Lindelof – Manchester United – $8Kayne Ramsey – Southampton – $5Ben Godfrey – Everton – $8Matthew Lowton – Burnley – $8Any cheap defender who pops up after lineups, bump if they are a central defender. Daily Fantasy Sports Saturday 1/30 EPL DFS Richard Masana 3 years ago written by Richard Masana This article focuses on 1/30 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format. The goal is to gain an edge on the field at large. Saturday 1/30 EPL Slate and DFS GameplanLet’s get ready for another EPL Saturday slate! DraftKings has a smaller slate with only the first three games beginning at 10am ET. FanDuel is also including the two games to follow. Wolves (+160) at Crystal Palace (+195) – As the goal odds below indicate, this game should be brutal from an offensive perspective. Not a bad place to try to snatch a goalie or grab both and hedge across multiple lineups. Sheffield United (+2000) at Manchester City (-830) – The clear chalk on both sites. Their ginger leader, Kevin De Bruyne, remains out for City. Meanwhile, this team’s attackers remain underpriced on Draftkings. They get to help fill his void in another plus matchup. However, this lineup shakes out will basically dictate the slate. Fortunately, their game is early. Fulham (+128) at West Brom (+240) – Another blah game but West Brom is awful and Fulham has been adequate. On the DraftKings slate, Fulham is the second best team to draw from, as sad as that sounds. Manchester United (+145) at Arsenal (+188) (FanDuel Only) – Coming off a very disappointing loss to ol’ Sheffield United, the Red Devils will look to rebound against Arsenal. This should be a decent game all-around, although United should be able to bounce back. Aston Villa (+138) at Southampton (+180) (FanDuel Only) – This game will likely get overlooked on the five game FanDuel slate. However, there are certainly some decent contrarian pieces we can use in tournaments. Notable Goal Scoring Odds Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below and projected starters are listed in bold. Wolves at Crystal Palace – Wilfried Zaha (+250), Patrick Cutrone (+270), Jean-Philippe Mateta (+295), Willian Jose (+300), Pedro Neto (+310), Fabio Silva (+310), Michy Batshuayi (+310), Daniel Podence (+340), Christian Benteke (+340)Sheffield United at Manchester City – Raheem Sterling (+112), Gabriel Jesus (+120), Phil Foden (+130), Ilkay Gündogan (+140), Riyad Mahrez (+140), Ferran Torres (+145), Bernardo Silva (+215)Fulham at West Brom – Aleksandar Mitrović (+160), Aboubakar Kamara (+235), Ivan Cavaleiro (+235), Ademola Lookman (+250), Bobby DeCordova-Reid (+280), Karlan Grant (+300)Manchester United at Arsenal (FanDuel only) – Alexandre Lacazette (+163), Bruno Fernandes (+180), Edison Cavani (+190), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (+210), Marcus Rashford (+220), Anthony Martial (+245), Eddie Nkietah (+245), Gabriel Martinelli (+270), Mason Greenwood (+290), Bukayo Saka (+320), Nicolas Pepe (+320)Aston Villa at Southampton (FanDuel only) – Danny Ings (+132), Ollie Watkins (+170), Anwar El-Ghazi (+205), Che Adams (+255), Jack Grealish (+310), Bertrand Traore (+310)EPL Best Odds*Bukayo Saka to Score* (+320) – 0.35 Units – “DraftKings Sportsbook”DraftKings | FanDuel The Betting Game PlanThis same bet hit last time out, making it four of his last six with a goal for Saka. As a result, the odds got even higher by +10. Manchester United is a tougher matchup than Everton, but still. Whoever is putting these odds together must hate Saka or maybe just isn’t paying any attention. 1/30 EPL FanDuel Rankings “Set pieces less important on FanDuel”Forward/Midfield1. Daily Fantasy Sports Tuesday 1/26 EPL DFS Richard Masana 3 years ago written by Richard Masana This article focuses on 1/26 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large. Tuesday 1/26 EPL Slate and DFS GameplanLet’s get ready for a four game Tuesday slate!West Ham (+133) at Crystal Palace (+215) – One of the first two early games, this one should be a tactical affair from the start. Expect a West Ham side that plays better together than Palace to walk away with the win in a low scoring affair. Leeds United (-115) at Newcastle (+300) – Patrick Bamford has really high goal scoring odds in this one for the striker on a -115 favorite. However, Las Vegas thinks Leeds has too much class in this one. Arsenal (+120) at Southampton (+240) – Bukayo Saka has been on fire but we will have to see how the rest of the Arsenal lineup shakes out. Meanwhile, on the other side Danny Ings looks to lead Southampton to play the role of dark horse here. Manchester City (-560) at West Brom (+1500) – Man City is a huge favorite against lowly West Brom. However, they will be missing their main playmaker, set piece taker, and penalty kick taker Kevin De Bruyne for 4-6 weeks. This should result in a huge boost for Phil Foden who should gain more set pieces and I would expect Ilkay Gundogan to be the penalty kick taker. Notable Goal Scoring Odds Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below and projected starters are listed in bold. West Ham at Crystal Palace – Michail Antonio (+175), Wilfried Zaha (+235), Oladapo Afolayan (+260), Ademipo Odubeko (+260), Christian Benteke (+265), Tomas Soucek (+290), Jordan Ayew (+290), Jarrod Bowen (+310), Andriy Yarmolenko (+310), Mohamed Said Benrahma (+370)Leeds United at Newcastle – Patrick Bamford (+106), Callum Wilson (+165), Sam Greenwood (+205), Rodrigo (+230), Dwight Gayle (+245), Pablo Hernandez (+265), Andy Carroll (+295), Raphinha (+300), Jack Harrison (+360), Allan Saint-Maximin (+410)Arsenal at Southampton – Alexandre Lacazette (+150), Danny Ings (+175), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (+188), Gabriel Martinelli (+245), Eddie Nketiah (+245), Che Adams (+300), Bukayo Saka (+310), Theo Walcott (+550)Manchester City at West Brom – Raheem Sterling (+120), Phil Foden (+130), Gabriel Jesus (+130), Riyad Mahrez (+140), Ilkay Gündogan (+163), Ferran Torres (+165), Bernardo Silva (+255)EPL Best Odds* Bukayo Saka to Score* (+310) – 0.35 Units – “DraftKings Sportsbook”DraftKings | FanDuel The Betting Game PlanIt’s crazy that Saka has nearly half the goal scoring odds of other Arsenal attackers. The current odds do not seem to take in Saka’s recent goal scoring form at all. To date, he has scored in three of his last five games, with consecutive shots on goal in three straight. 1/26 EPL FanDuel Rankings “Set pieces less important on FanDuel”Forward/Midfield1. Daily Fantasy Sports Tuesday 1/19 EPL DFS Richard Masana 3 years ago written by Richard Masana This article focuses on 1/19 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large. Tuesday 1/19 EPL Slate and DFS GameplanThere is very little EPL ahead this weekend “only one game as otherwise all FA Cup”. However, we have a pair of midweek two games slate both Tuesday and Wednesday. West Brom (+480) at West Ham (-165) – See below under Best OddsChelsea (+132) at Leicester City (+200) – Both teams are coming off 1-0 wins over inferior opponents, albeit not very convincing victories. Chelsea had come into this season with very high aspirations after a ton of spending. However, a combination of injuries and a struggle to coherently mesh all the pieces has led to an underwhelming performance as of late. They are still favored here on the road against a feisty Leicester side. Notable Goal Scoring Odds Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below and projected starters are listed in bold. Burnley at West Ham – Michail Antonio (+118), Jarrod Bowen (+210), Tomas Soucek (+200), Andriy Yarmolenko (+210), Mohamed Said Benrahma (+260)Chelsea at Leicester City – Jamie Vardy (+125), Olivier Giroud (+160), Tammy Abraham (+175), Kelechi Iheanacho (+190), Timo Werner (+200), Christian Pulisic (+280), Harvey Barnes (+325), Hakim Ziyech (+370), Kai Havertz (+370), Ayoze Perez (+370), James Maddison (+390), Cengiz Under (+390), Mason Mount (+510)EPL Best Odds* West Ham ML (-162) – 1.25 Units – “DraftKings Sportsbook”DraftKings | FanDuel The Betting Game PlanNormally, I wouldn’t necessarily be so high on West Ham. Nonetheless, the Hammers took care of business against a subpar Burnley side last time out. This time out, they get to host an even worse side in West Brom. There is not much good to be said about the Baggies. At least the Hammer’s previous opponent, Burnley, can hunker down and play some defense. West Ham should be able to show they are a real “albeit, mediocre” EPL team and grab the W against hapless West Brom and extend their win streak. 1/19 EPL FanDuel Rankings “Set pieces less important on FanDuel”Forward/Midfield1. Daily Fantasy Sports Saturday 1/16 EPL DFS Richard Masana 3 years ago written by Richard Masana This article focuses on 1/16 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large. Saturday 1/16 EPL Slate and DFS GameplanLet’s get ready for EPL Matchweek 19/38! Both sites will be featuring the entire four game slate, beginning with a pair of games at 10am ET. Brighton (+245) at Leeds United (+106) – The Seagulls have been experimenting with their lineups as of late. However, I expect them to go back to a more standard setup against Leeds United. It has been an impressive first half of the season for Leeds, easily the best of the three promoted teams. Their work ethic and commitment to scoring should serve them well here. Raphinha seems very affordable on both sites and Patrick Bamford has the second highest goal scoring odds on the slate. Burnley (+390) at West Ham (-129) – The one thing Burnley does well is sit back and play defense. I expect this to be a very tactical, low scoring match with nod to West Ham. Chelsea (-200) at Fulham (+600) – Chelsea is a huge road favorite here but Fulham has been in extremely strong form. Logic tells you that Chelsea should be able to take care of business but they have been underwhelming as of late. Southampton (+390) at Leicester City (-134) – Leicester is probably my favorite team on the slate as they are very ease to parse out. You have James Maddison taking all the set pieces and Jamie Vardy, the most likely to score. Vardy has the highest goal scoring odds on the slate. Notable Goal Scoring Odds Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below and projected starters are listed in bold. Brighton at Leeds United – Patrick Bamford (+110), Neal Maupay (+165), Rodrigo (+240), Pablo Hernandez (+275), Andi Zeqiri (+275), Tyler Roberts (+275), Raphinha (+295), Jack Harrison (+370)Burnley at West Ham – Michail Antonio (+135), Jarrod Bowen (+225), Chris Wood (+225), Mohamed Said Benrahma (+240), Tomas Soucek (+240), Andriy Yarmolenko (+240), Ashley Barnes (+300)Chelsea at Fulham – Olivier Giroud (+107), Tammy Abraham (+118), Timo Werner (+125), Christian Pulisic (+175), Aleksandar Mitrović (+245), Hakim Ziyech (+265), Kai Havertz (+265), Mason Mount (+380)Southampton at Leicester City – Jamie Vardy (-120), Kelechi Iheanacho (+133), Harvey Barnes (+240), Ayoze Perez (+275), James Maddison (+295), Che Adams (+360)EPL Best Odds* Leeds United and Leicester City Parlay (+261) – 0.75 Units – “DraftKings Sportsbook”DraftKings | FanDuel The Betting Game PlanThis is a nasty little EPL slate so let’s go a bit lighter than usual unit wise but take a bigger swing. Chelsea is not giving us much juice at -200 and while they have been struggling lately, Fulham has been playing well. Therefore, let’s pair Leeds United facing a woeful Brighton side and Leicester City hosting Danny Ings less Southampton. 1/16 EPL FanDuel Rankings “Set pieces less important on FanDuel”Forward/Midfield1. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large. Tuesday 1/12 EPL Slate and DFS GameplanLet’s get ready for EPL Matchweek 18/38! FanDuel is running their slate with all three games beginning at 1pm ET, whereas DraftKings is unfortunately, only featuring the final two. Newcastle (+205) at Sheffield United (+148) – Surprisingly, Sheffield United is favored in the early FanDuel only game. You can play a goalie but otherwise there is not a whole lot here to like. It certainly makes for a sleepy start to EPL’s return.Manchester United (-220) at Burnley (+600) – More on this game below under EPL Best Odds. Everton (+205) at Wolves (+145) – Wolves are favored but come into this winless over their last four matches. However, Everton have only been marginally better. James Rodriguez should have his sea legs back, following a lengthy injury. However, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been ruled out. As a result, this should be a tighter affair that the other late game. Notable Goal Scoring Odds Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below and projected starters are listed in bold. Newcastle at Sheffield United – Callum Wilson (+170), David McGoldrick (+225), Oliver McBurnie (+235), Lys Mousset (+235), Rhian Brewster (+245), Billy Sharp (+255), Dwight Gayle (+285), Joelinton (+440), John Fleck (+440), Miguel Almiron (+575)Manchester United at Burnley – Edinson Cavani (+116), Bruno Fernandes (+123), Marcus Rashford (+145), Anthony Martial (+155), Mason Greenwood (+185), Chris Wood (+255), Ashley Barnes (+330), Matěj Vydra (+360), Jay Rodriguez (+375), Paul Pogba (+420)Everton at Wolves – Patrick Cutrone (+225), Fabio Silva (+240), Cenk Tosun (+275), Pedro Neto (+275), Richarlison (+350), James Rodriguez (+440), Gylfi Sigurdsson (+500), Adama Traore (+550)EPL Best Odds * Manchester United ML (-220) “DraftKings Sportsbook”DraftKings | FanDuel The Betting Game PlanThe odds here are not that juicy compared to the seven piece parlays the people want. However, it also seems safe, as it would be extremely disappointing for Manchester United to squander their league position while away at Burnley. This is the type of game that any real contender for the English Premier League title should find a way to win handily. Bruno Fernandes will probably be the most popular play on this slate. Edinson Cavani has already been ruled out in advance. Therefore, the trio of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood, should feature. With United the slate’s biggest favorite they should be the highest owned attacking options outside of Bruno and James Rodriguez. 1/12 EPL FanDuel Rankings “Set pieces less important on FanDuel”Forward/Midfield1. Daily Fantasy Sports Saturday 1/2 EPL DFS Richard Masana 3 years ago written by Richard Masana This article focuses on 1/2 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large. Saturday 1/2 EPL Slate and DFS GameplanLet’s get ready for EPL Matchweek 17/38 as we kick off the first weekend of 2021!Sheffield United (+290) at Crystal Palace (-103) – This game should result in a very sleepy start to the morning. Vicente Guaita is in play as the Crystal Palace goalie against lowly Sheffield United. However, we are certainly lacking in attacking options here unless you want to really pay up for them. Wolves (+185) at Brighton (+160) – After our opening match, we get a second consecutive stinker as the Raul-Jimenez less Wolves visit the Seagulls. By nature, a wolf should devour a seagull, However, these Wolves have been limping, relying primarily on defense for survival. Brighton will similarly look to keep it low scoring and hope for some set piece magic. Arsenal (-162) at West Brom (+460) – Welcome to Arsenal chalk day. Buyako Saka, who has taken over set pieces when in, is a game time decision. However, any way that this lineup shakes out, on this slate, you would have to be interested. Alexandre Lacazette (+116) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (+123) have the highest goal scoring odds on the slate. If Saka is out, Willian becomes very interesting at his price on DraftKings, with the assumption that set pieces would be all his. Behind him, Nicolas Pepe. If all three are not in the lineup, Dani Ceballos at $5,500, becomes a bargain. Notable Goal Scoring Odds Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. If this ML is not enough for you, feel free to parlay it with an Over or something from another sport. 1/2 EPL FanDuel Rankings “Set pieces less important on FanDuel”Forward/Midfield1. Daily Fantasy Sports Tuesday 12/29 EPL DFS Richard Masana 3 years ago written by Richard Masana This article focuses on 12/29 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large. Tuesday 12/29 EPL Slate and DFS GameplanLet’s get ready for EPL Matchweek 16/38, as we have one of the biggest midweek slates of the season. There are a total of five games with four beginning at 1pm ET and one late game at 3pm ET. However, DraftKings will only be featuring the first four. Arsenal (+128) at Brighton (+215) – We will see if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang returns. If not, we will a similar Arsenal lineup to last time out against Chelsea. However, given their success in that game, perhaps that wouldn’t be such a bad thing. Sheffield United (+230) at Burnley (+138) – This should be a dull game although Chris Wood’s +155 odds to score is the fourth highest on the slate. Nick Pope might be popular in net. People might also snatch the defenders, particularly on DraftKings, hoping for a clean sheet plus solid output. West Ham (+225) at Southampton (+125) – Danny Ings will likely remain out, leaving Southampton without their primary scoring threat. This should be a low scoring game decided by set pieces and chance opportunities. Leeds United (-106) at West Brom (+275) – Patrick Bamford’s +108 goal scoring odds pace the slate, which features a number of low scoring games. As the second biggest favorite on the slate, either pieces or a Leeds stack, are both in play. Raphinha has taken control of the Leeds set pieces for now. FANDUEL ONLY – Wolves (+500) at Manchester United (-175) – United is the biggest favorite on the slate. Bruno, along with the other attackers, should be very popular. Notable Goal Scoring Odds Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below and projected starters are listed in bold. Arsenal at Brighton – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (+165), Alexandre Lacazette (+180), Folarin Balogun (+210), Neal Maupay (+225), Eddie Nketiah (+230), Gabriel Martinelli (+240), Danny Welbeck (+295), Aaron Connolly (+310), Andi Zeqiri (+310), Nicolas Pepe (+320), Bukayo Saka (+390), Leandro Trossard (+390), Pascal Gros (+440), Joe Willock (+600)West Ham at Southampton – Michail Antonio (+195), Che Adams (+225), Sebastian Haller (+255), Shane Long (+260), Daniel N’Lundulu (+260), Theo Walcott (+295), Michael Obafemi (+295), Jarrod Bowen (+330), Andriy Yarmolenko (+330), Tomas Soucek (+350), Manuel Lanzini (+600)Sheffield United at Burnley – Chris Wood (+155), Ashley Barnes (+215), Matěj Vydra (+235), Jay Rodriguez (+245), David McGoldrick (+290), Oliver McBurnie (+290), Rhian Brewster (+290), Lys Mousset (+290), Billy Sharp (+300)Leeds United at West Brom – Patrick Bamford (+108), Rodrigo (+230), Karlan Grant (+235), Charlie Austin (+235), Pablo Hernandez (+260), Tyler Roberts (+260), Raphinha (+280), Callum Robinson (+285), Mateusz Klich (+325), Helder Costa (+350), Ian Poveda (+350), Matheus Pereira (+380), Jack Harrison (+390), Conor Gallagher (+400)Wolves at Manchester United – Bruno Fernandes (+140), Edinson Cavani (+145), Marcus Rashford (+175), Anthony Martial (+175), Mason Greenwood (+210), Pedro Neto (+350), Fabio Silva (+360), Daniel Podence (+420), Paul Pogba (+460)EPL Best Odds * Leeds United ML (-106) “DraftKings Sportsbook”DraftKings | FanDuel The Betting Game PlanLeeds unapologetically offensive playing style under coach Marcelo Bielsa should serve them well against hapless West Brom. My assumption would be that new coach “Big Sam” Allardyce and West Brom will look to recreate their all defensive formation, as previously employed against Manchester City. Given that this style involves conceding the ball nearly eighty percent of the team and playing with your back to net, it is fair to say it won’t create sustainable success.
