Derrick Henry

Hope you all had a solid Thanksgiving! We have a great Sunday of football today. There are some great matchups that we can definitely take full advantage of today. I’ve done my research and found some very beatable PrizePicks props. I absolutely love Lamar Jackson tonight. Look for him to smash, amongst some others.

Sign up here and deposit at PrizePicks today and we’ll throw in a free 60-day trial of Win Daily Gold! Use Promo Code WINDAILY.

Let’s dig in and make some money to pay for all those massive turkeys we’ll eat today!

Derrick Henry – .5 Pass + Rush + Rec TD – Over

Derrick Henry gets one of the best matchups on the board today.  No team in the NFL has given up more rushing TD’s to running backs this season than the Carolina Panthers.  Through 10 games, the Panthers have given up 14 so far.  This sets up great for Henry to have a bounce back game after a rough couple of games.  Henry has just 4 rushing TD’s in this disappointing season but he’s sure to find the end zone today with a great matchup.  Love the Over here.

Lamar Jackson – 282.5 Pass + Rush Yards – Over

Lamar Jackson will get to showcase his talents in primetime tonight as the Ravens take on the Chargers.  Only the Commanders have given up more passing yards this season than the Chargers and the Commanders have played 2 more games.  After tonight, we’ll be saying that no team has given up more passing yards this season than the Charges.  In back to back weeks, the Chargers have given up more than 300 yards passing.  While I don’t see Jackson getting to 300 yards passing, I do think that between his arm and legs, he does get well over this 282.5 yard prop on PrizePicks today.  Love the Over!

Rhamondre Stevenson – 62.5 Rushing Yards – Over

Over the last 2 weeks, Rhamondre Stevenson has rushed for over 85 yards in each game.  With him running the ball well right now and him getting a beautiful matchup today, I absolutely love this number for him.  Week in and week out, the Giants are giving up massive numbers on the ground to running backs.  This week should be no different.  Only the Broncos have given up more yards on the ground this season than the Giants.  They are awful against running backs and Stevenson should be able to take full advantage of this matchup and have a third straight strong game.  Love the Over!

Welcome to the Week 9 edition of The Inside Look for the 2022 NFL season.  This will be a data driven article and will go under the hood to see if the box scores tell the whole story about what transpired during the weekend.   My goal here will be to either calm your nerves about a player that may have underperformed or cause you to rethink some of the spots you may have taken.

What a weird weekend Week 9 was.  The New York Jets beat up on the intra-state rival Buffalo Bills, the demise of Aaron Rodgers continued, and the Lamar Jackson we’ve known to love may be making a comeback.

Let’s dig in to the data!

Wide Receiver Targets

Before we dig in to individual player performances I wanted to take a moment to talk about why we focus so heavily on Targets.  Targets equal opportunities and in fantasy opportunity more often than creates production.  The more targets that a player gets the better chance there is that the player will return on value.

After putting in arguably the worst game of his career in Week 8, Davante Adams had a huge comeback in Week 9.  He led all wide receivers this week with 17 targets and was able to catch 10 of them for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns.  The 17 targets were the most he’s had since Week 1 when he also had 17.  Up next for Adams and the Raiders will be a matchup against Jeff Saturday and the Indianapolis Colts.

Listen, did you know the Vikings are 7-1?  A lot of that has had to do with the stellar play of Justin Jefferson.  For the third time this season, Jefferson was targeted 13 times.  He made the most of those 13 targets as he finished with 7 catches, 115 receiving yards, and 1 touchdown.  This was the fifth time this season that Jefferson surpassed the century mark.  Next week will be a tough draw for him as the Vikings will head to Buffalo to play the Bills.

Running Back Targets

This wasn’t a good weekend for running backs and targets.  Not a single running back was targeted more than 9 times and none had more than 58 yards receiving.  We’ll focus on Austin Ekeler here as he led the way with 9 targets.  While he was able to catch 7 of them, he only went for 24 receiving yards.  He was however able to convert one of them into a touchdown.

Tight End Targets

Outside of Travis Kelce, no tight end was targeted in double digits this weekend.  Kelce was tied with Davante Adams this weekend for the lead in targets with 17.  The 17 targets that Kelce had this weekend were by far the most he’s had this season and also the most he’s ever had in his career.  He was able to catch 10 of them for 106 yards, surpassing the 100-yard mark for the third time this season.  With all that being said, he’s now gone 3 consecutive games without finding the end zone.  He’ll look to change that this coming weekend in a matchup vs. the Jaguars.

Quarterback Target Share

The combo of PJ Walker and Baker Mayfield combined to throw the ball 30 times this weekend.  They relied heavily on their backs as nearly a third of all their passes went to them.  Raheem Blacksheer, D’Onta Foreman, Spencer Brown, and Giovanni Ricci combined for 11 targets on Sunday.  We’ll look to see if that distribution continues on Thursday night as the Panthers take on the Falcons.

If you can figure out the methodology behind who Jalen Hurts throws to on a given week, please pass the info on.  This week it was his tight ends that saw the bulk of the receiving load.  Of Hurts’ 26 passing this weekend, more than 40% of them went to his tight ends.  Dallas Goedert led the team in targets this weekend with 9.  The 8-0 Eagles can do no wrong at this point.

The Tua/Hill combo may be the most fun thing to watch this season.  Nearly 65% of Tua’s 29 passes this weekend went to his wide receivers, with the bulk of those going to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.  Targets and those 2 seem to be as safe as there is in the NFL right now.

Running Back Touches

With James Robinson shipped off to the Jets, we’re starting to see what Travis Etienne can do.  Over the last 4 weeks, we’ve seen his carries go from 10 to 14 to 24 to a season-high of 28.  He’s also now rushed for over 100 yards in 3 consecutive weeks and has also found the end zone in all 3 of those games.  He was the chalk running back this weekend and he did not disappoint!  He’ll have his hands full in Week 10 against the Chiefs.

Dameon Pierce, take a bow!  The rookie running back for the Texans had a career-high 27 carries this weekend.  He was able to rush for a career-high 139 as well.  The only thing he didn’t do right was find the end zone.  The rookie has been a big part of this offense this season and that should continue in a matchup against the surprisingly solid New York Giants in Week 10.

Playbook

The ‘Playbook’ as I like to call it shows a breakdown of the play splits that teams used this past weekend.

Tennessee ended up running the fewest amount of plays this weekend at 42.  70% of those plays however were runs.  Between Derrick Henry and Malik Willis, the Titans ran the ball 29 times this weekend compared to just 13 pass plays.  One thing we do know is that once Ryan Tannehill is back, that will like shift just a bit.

On the polar opposite end of the spectrum was the Kansas City Chiefs.  They not only ran the most plays at 81, but they also threw the ball nearly 80% of the time.  Patrick Mahomes threw the ball 68 times!  That was a season-high by a wide margin and for the second consecutive week, Mahomes threw for over 400 yards.  What a stretch that Mahomes is currently in!

Welcome to the Week 8 edition of The Inside Look for the 2022 NFL season.  This will be a data driven article and will go under the hood to see if the box scores tell the whole story about what transpired during the weekend.   My goal here will be to either calm your nerves about a player that may have underperformed or cause you to rethink some of the spots you may have taken.

We are getting close to the midway point of the 2022 season.  It’s been an exciting one folks.  This was one of those weird weeks where almost all of the chalk hit.  Guys like Alvin Kamara, Tyreek Hill, DeAndre Hopkins, D’Onta Foreman all had monster days, just as they were expected to.

Let’s dig in to the data!

Wide Receiver Targets

Before we dig into individual player performances I wanted to take a moment to talk about why we focus so heavily on Targets.  Targets equal opportunities and in fantasy opportunity more often than creates production.  The more targets that a player gets the better chance there is that the player will return on value.

Tyreek Hill did everything but score a touchdown this weekend.  He was the most heavily targeted person in all of football in Week 8.  Hill was targeted 14 times and ended up catching 12 of them for 188 yards receiving.  He has 42 targets over the last 3 weeks and only has 2 games this season with less than 10 targets.

This was also Hill’s fourth time going over 160 receiving yards this season.  There is no player in the NFL with the sheer upside that Hill has.  Up next will be a much tougher task for the Hill and the Dolphins.  The Bears have been one of the better teams in defending the pass.

Another player that has as much upside in the league as anyone is DeAndre Hopkins.  Playing in only his second game of the season, Hopkins had a monster game.  He was targeted 13 times this weekend and was able to catch 12 of them for 159 yards and 1 touchdown.  That was Hopkins’ first touchdown of the season.  Hopkins and his teammates will have a tough go at it next weekend as they’ll face off against the Seahawks.  Another team that has been very good at defending the pass.

What a first quarter for A.J. Brown!  This was the Brown the Eagles expected when they traded for him this off-season.  Brown had arguably his best game for the Birds as he caught 6 of his 11 targets for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns.  The 156 yards were the most he’s had this season, as were the 3 touchdowns.  The 3 touchdowns more than doubled his season total, now at 5.  Next will be a matchup vs. the Texans, a team that has done fairly well defending against wide receivers.

Running Back Targets

Alvin Kamara was the chalk running back going into Week 8 and he did not disappoint.  He was the most heavily targeted running back at 10 targets.  He was also the only running back with double-digit targets, a theme we have seen often this season for running backs.  Kamara converted 9 of those 10 targets into catches for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns.  The targets, receptions, and yards were all season-highs for the Saints running back.

Tight End Targets

For a second consecutive week, tight ends played a lesser role in the passing game for teams.  Only Tyler Conklin of the New York Jets had double-digit targets.  He led all tight ends with 10 targets in Week 8.  Conklin caught 6 of the 10 targets and finished with 79 yards and 2 touchdowns.  The 79 yards were the most he’s had since Week 3 against Cincy and his 2 touchdowns were the first ones since Week 1 vs. Baltimore.

Conklin has now been targeted at least 7 times in 4 of his team’s 8 games.  Up for the Jets in Week 9 will be the Bills.  The Jets will surely be passing quite a bit in that one, leading to more targets for Conklin.

Quarterback Target Share

Now that Christian McCaffrey is in San Francisco, we’re going to see a shift in the way they pass the ball.  That was evident in Week 8 as nearly half of Jimmy Garoppolo’s passes went to his running backs.  Jimmy G only threw the ball 26 times, but 11 went to his running backs.  9 of them specifically went to McCaffrey as he was the leading target monster on the 49ers this weekend.

Even though Mark Andrews went down early, Lamar Jackson still heavily used his tight ends in the passing game.  It’s just something he feels more comfortable doing, especially with his top receiver in Bateman out.  Isaiah Likely was second on the Ravens in targets this weekend with 7.  13 of Jackson’s 34 passes went to his tight ends.

Then we have Tua Tagovailoa.  Tua threw the ball 34 times in Week 8.  80% of those passes went to his wide receivers.  The combo of Hill and Waddle accounted for 23 of the 34 passes.  Only 6 of Tua’s passes were spread between his tight ends and running backs.

Running Back Touches

Get used to it folks.  As long as the Titans play, Derrick Henry will be numero uno in terms of carries.  I mentioned it last week, but the Titans are slowly beefing up the workload for Henry.  After topping out at a season-high 30 carries last week, he got it all the way up to 32 this week.  He did some amazing things with those 32 carries as he finished with over 200 rushing yards, something he hadn’t done since the 2020 season.  He also finished with a pair of rushing touchdowns.  The Titans’ offense runs through Henry.  Up next will be a tough test against the Chiefs.

With Christian McCaffrey shipped off to greener pastures in San Francisco and Chubba Hubbard out, D’Onta Foreman was a chalk running back on Sunday.  He did not disappoint.  Foreman finished with a season-high 26 carries and for the second straight week finished with 118 rushing yards.  Unlike last week though, he made the most out of those 118 yards and found the end zone 3 times.

Playbook

The ‘Playbook’ as I like to call it shows a breakdown of the play splits that teams used this past weekend.

I mentioned it in the running back section, but the Titans’ offense runs entirely through Derrick Henry.  The Titans ran 53 plays this weekend, 48 of which were run plays.  85% of the Titans’ plays this weekend were runs, a trend we’ll continue to see as long as Ryan Tannehill is out.

On the opposite side, we have the Bengals.  With the Bengals down the entire game and Joe Mixon being essentially useless last night, Joe Burrow was forced to throw the ball 35 times.  77% of the Bengals’ play last night were pass plays.  They had just a crushing defeat last night, dropping them to a game behind the Baltimore Ravens for first place in the AFC North.

We are now more than third of the way through the 2022 NFL season and what a weird season it’s been so far.  The Buccaneers are a mess while the Giants are up to 6-1.  Matt Ryan has officially been benched while PJ Walker is thriving.

There were some big injuries this past weekend, none more impactful than Breece Hall going down with an ACL tear.  That led the Jets to trading for James Robinson last night.  Will we finally see the capabilities of the running back on a more consistent basis?  Maybe, maybe not!

The base line stats for Mike Evans were pretty impressive this weekend.  He led the league in targets with 15 and caught 9 of them for 96 yards.  It was the one pass that he didn’t catch that all Buccaneers fan will remember though.  He dropped a perfect pass from Brady in the first quarter that would have went for a TD.

That play could have drastically changed the outcome of this one.  Evans’ 15 targets and 9 catches were season-highs.  The Bucs will have a short turnaround as they face an equally disappointing Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.

After sitting out in Week 6 with an injury, the Chris Olave show continued in Week 7 with an impressive game.  Olave had just his second 100 yard receiving game of his career thanks to a career-high 14 targets.  The Saints rookie is putting together an impressive first season.  He also ran a career high 49 routes, 10 more than he had run in any game this season.  Up next for the Saints will be a matchup with the Raiders, a team that has been about league average vs. Wide Receivers.

There was no rust involved with DeAndre Hopkins.  After sitting out the first 6 weeks with a suspension, Hopkins returned this week to 14 targets.  He was able to turn those 14 targets into 10 catches and 103 receiving yards.  The only thing he did wrong in this game was that he failed to find the End Zone.  The Hopkins show will continue in Week 8 with a favorable matchup vs. the Minnesota Vikings.

Running Back Targets

The Austin Ekeler cheat code has been released.  For the third time in the last 4 weeks, Ekeler had a multiple touchdown game.  This week he had one on the ground and one through the air.  His 12 targets led all running backs this week, as did his 12 receptions.   Yes, he caught every ball thrown his way.  He’ll be tutoring Mike Evans on the proper way to catch a ball.  Ekeler is on an epic run right now.  The only thing that will be able to slow him down will be the bye that his team has in week 8.

Running back Aaron Jones did the majority of his damage this weekend in the air and not on the ground.  Jones had the second most targets of any running back this week with 10.  He was able to coral 9 of those passes into 53 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.  The 10 targets and 9 catches were by far the most he’s had all season.  He’ll have to do more though if the Packers ever expect to win another game.  He’ll get that chance in Week 8 vs. Buffalo, an extremely tough matchup.

Tight End Targets

This was a weird week for tight ends as not a single tight end was targeted more than 9 times.  We typically have a few in double digits, not this week though.  The star of the show this week for tight ends was George Kittle of the 49ers.  He had 9 targets and was able to catch 6 of them for 98 yards and 1 TD.  This was by Kittles’ best performance of the year.  He’ll look to keep up the momentum in Week 8 vs. the Rams, a team coming off a bye in Week 7.

Quarterback Target Share

Of Davis Mills 40 passes this weekend, more than 40% of them went to his running backs.  Dare Ogunbowale and Rex Burkhead combined for 13 of the passes that Mills threw.

On the opposite end of the spectrum we have Tom Brady.  Brady threw the ball 48 times this weekend, with 75% of them going to his receivers.  28 of those passes went to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.  While Evans finished with 96 yards, he’ll probably be losing some sleep over that one that he dropped in the first quarter.

Running Back Touches

The workload for Derrick Henry continues to increase week after week.  After bottoming out in Week 2 with just 13 carries, Derrick Henry reached 30 for the first time this season.  He turned those 30 carries into a season high 128 yards.  We are seeing the return of the work horse we’ve grown accustomed to watching over the last few years.  Week 8 will be a matchup vs. a Texans team that has given up the fourth most rushing yards in the league.

Can anyone, and I mean anyone stop the New York Giants?  After being a joke for the last few years, the Giants are now 6-1.  That has mostly been due to the performance of their former first round pick Saquon Barkley.  For the second consecutive week, Barkley rushed more than 20 times.  His 24 carries in Week 7 were the second most he’s had this season and he reached 100 yards rushing for the third time this year.  A healthy Barkley is good for the NFL and the Giants.

Playbook

The ‘Playbook’ as I like to call it shows a breakdown of the play splits that teams used this past weekend.

What a weird offensive scheme the Ravens went out with this week.  Gus Edwards made his return after tearing his ACL prior to the 2021 season.  That led the Ravens to go with a run dominant offense.  They ran the ball more on more than 70% of their plays this weekend.  Normal target monster Mark Andrews saw just 2 targets and Lamar Jackson threw the ball just 16 times.

Conversely, we have the Los Angeles Chargers.  The ran a pass heavy offense this weekend, with nearly 80% of their plays being through the air.  Just Herbert ended up with 51 passes to their 15 runs.  That’s what the game calls for though when you’re down most of the game but quite a bit.

Welcome to the Week 5 edition of The Inside Look for the 2022 NFL season.  This will be a data-driven article and will go under the hood to see if the box scores tell the whole story about what transpired during the weekend.   My goal here will be to either calm your nerves about a player that may have underperformed or cause you to rethink some of the spots you may have taken.

Justin Jefferson’s 2022 is off to a stellar start.  Week 5 saw him get 13 targets for a second straight week.  We also saw Jefferson eclipse double-digit catches for second straight week as he was able to haul in 12 of those 13 targets.  At the end of the day, Jefferson finished with 154 yards on those 12 catches.  While he didn’t find the endzone, he did end up with a two-point conversion.  Up next week for the Vikings will be a date with the Miami Dolphins and a matchup of two of the best in the league at what they do, Tyreek Hill and Justin Jefferson.

Yes, you are reading that correctly.  Randall Cobb was tied for the lead this weekend for wide receiver targets with 13.  That is not a typo.  The 13 targets Cobb had were the most he’s had in a game since all the way back in Week 15 of 2017.  Coming into Week 5, Cobb had only been targeted 12 times.  We should consider this week an outlier as he normally only gets 2-3 targets a game.

Mike Williams continues to dominate.  Williams had double-digit targets for a second straight week and 3 out of his last 4 games.  His 13 targets this week were the most he’s had this season, as were the 10 catches.  His final stat line was extremely impressive as he finished with 10 catches for 134 yards.  The only negative here was he failed to find the endzone.  Up next will be a matchup against the Broncos and their tough D.

Running Back Targets

Christian McCaffrey and his pass-catching game is back.  For a second straight week, McCaffrey has set a season-high in targets.  After being targeted 9 times in Week 4, McCaffrey was targeted 12 times in Week 5.  Those were his most targets since all the way back in 2019.  For a fourth straight week, McCaffrey finished with at least 100 yards from scrimmage.

The targets for Leonard Fournette are slowly coming around. Each week Fournette has seen more and more targets.  In Week 5, Fournette set a season-high with 11 targets.  He was able to catch 10 of them 83 yards and had a receiving TD for a second straight week.  Fournette will look to keep the good times going in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tight End Targets

Tyler Higbee continues to be one of Matthew Stafford’s favorite targets.  While the 10 targets he had in Week 5 weren’t the most he’s had this season, it was the third time this season that Higbee had double-digit targets.  It wasn’t all rosy for Higbee though as he was only able to catch 7 of them for just 46 yards.  The 46 yards were the fewest he’s had since Week 1.  Up next for the Rams will be the Panthers, a team that has given up less than 200 receiving yards so far to Tight Ends.

After being essentially invisible in Weeks 3 and 4, Evan Engram set a season-high in targets with 10 in Week 5.  His 10 targets were the most he’s had since 2020 when he was a member of the New York Giants.  Engram was able to catch 6 of the 10 targets for 69 yards.  The 69 yards were the most he’s had this season.

Quarterback Target Share

When you have a pass-catching back like Christian McCaffrey, you better heavily utilize him in the passing game.  And that’s exactly what Mayfield did in Week 5.  Nearly 35% of the 25 pass attempts by Mayfield went to his backs.  McCaffrey’s 7 targets were far and away the most by anyone on the Panthers this past weekend.

On the polar opposite end of the spectrum, I present to you the Buffalo Bills.  Nearly 80% of all of Josh Allen’s passes went to his receivers this weekend.  All but 7 of his 36 passes went to his receivers.  Devin Singletary was targeted just 2 times and Tight End Quintin Morris was targeted 5 times.

Running Back Touches

No running back had more attempts than Derrick Henry in Week 5.  That’s a statement we’ve heard often over the last several seasons.  For the fourth time this season, Henry eclipsed 20 runs.  His 28 attempts this weekend were the most he’s had this season.  Henry also set a season-high with 2 touchdowns in Week 5.  All in all, Henry went for 102 rushing yards on his 28 carries.  He’ll have a chance to rest those legs this weekend as the Titans have a bye in Week 6.

After averaging around 15 carries through the first 4 weeks of the season, Dameon Pierce set a career-high with 26 carries in Week 5.  He just missed having a second consecutive 100-yard rushing game as he finished with 99 yards.  He did find the endzone though for the third straight week.  The rookie running back is slowly becoming the focal point of this Texans offense.

Playbook

The ‘Playbook’ as I like to call it shows a breakdown of the play splits that teams used this past weekend.

Up early in this one, the undefeated Dallas Cowboys went with a run-heavy offense.  Of their 50 plays on Sunday, 34 were for runs and only 16 pass attempts.  While the majority of the carries went to Elliot this week, Tony Pollard was the one that did the damage thanks to a 57-yard TD run in the second quarter that put the Cowboys up for good in this one.

Having a QB that can throw with some competence, the Steelers ran pass plays more than 70% of the time on Sunday.  Most of that was dictated by the score though as the Steelers were essentially down from the moment Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense took the field.  In Kenny Pickett’s first career start, he threw the ball 52 times and ended up with 327 passing yards.  Even though he threw a ton of passes, none went for a TD as the Steelers were slaughtered by the Bill 38-3.  Ouch, Pittsburgh!

Welcome to the Week 9 edition of The Wire Report for the 2021 NFL season.  In this article I’ll be highlighting some of the top players that should still be available in your season long leagues.

This weekend saw injuries to major offensive players in Jameis Winston and work horse Derrick Henry.  If you have them on your roster you’ll need to a solid substitute. Let’s see if we can find them for you.

Below are my top waiver wire targets:

Boston Scott – Running Back – Philadelphia Eagles (4.9%  Rostered in ESPN Leagues)

With the Eagles up big this past weekend they ran the ball, and they ran it often.  The trio of Scott, Howard, and Gainwell all had at least 12 rushes.  We can probably exclude Gainwell from our thoughts because most of his work came towards the end of the game when it was already out of hand.  Scott split time as the lead back and excelled.  He had 12 rushes for 60 yards and 2 TD’s.  He’s available just about every where and makes for a nice pick up if you’re in need of a running back.

Adrian Peterson/Jeremy McNichols – Running Back – Tennessee Titans (<1% Rostered in ESPN Leagues)

The Titans were dealt a huge blow yesterday when they learned that Derrick Henry will be out for 6-10 weeks.  He was the work horse as he was averaging close to 30 carries each week.  It’s still a little early to figure out what the game plan will be this weekend but we do know that the Titans signed AP yesterday and may split time with McNichols.  I would expect us to hear more news today on the Titans plans for this coming weekend.

Carlos Hyde – Running Back – Jacksonville Jaguars (6.7% Rostered in ESPN Leagues)

This is highly dependent on the status of James Robinson.  If Robinson were to miss any time with his bruised heel Hyde would make for a solid pick up.  He filled in admirably on Sunday with 32 yards on 9 carries and then 6 receptions for 40 yards.  Hyde has been productive in the past and if he’s the guy this Sunday, he’d stand a good chance to be productive in your lineup.

Jamal Agnew – Wide Receiver – Jacksonville Jaguars (1.7% Rostered in ESPN Leagues)

Over his last 3 games Agnew has 7, 6, and 12 targets.  He also found the endzone for his first receiving TD of the year.  Agnew has done a nice job filling in for the injured Chark and has clicked very well with Trevor Lawrence.  The only thing standing in my way of picking up Agnew is a match up with the Bills this weekend.

Rashod Bateman – Wide Receiver – Baltimore Ravens (19% Rostered in ESPN Leagues)

In just 2 weeks Bateman has become a favorite of Lamar Jackson.  He now has back to back weeks of 6 targets.  This week he was able to do a bit more with them as he finished the game with 80 receiving yards.  He’s built up a nice rapport with Lamar Jackson and could be fun to watch during the playoff stretch.  With the Ravens back in action this weekend after a bye in week 8, Bateman is primed to continue with his solid play.

Tyrod Taylor/Davis Mills – Quarterback – Houston Texans (3.9% Rostered in ESPN Leagues)

Tyrod Taylor is expected back this week after missing weeks 3-8.  There’s a chance that they could also sit him for another week because that would lead into the bye, but I do think he’s back.  The match up this weekend is great as they are taking on the Miami Dolphins who have really struggled defensively.  Only Washington and KC have given up more points to QB’s than Miami.  Should Taylor miss another week, Davis Mills is another option.

Nico Collins – Wide Receiver – Houston Texans (1.7% Rostered in ESPN Leagues)

This may be lazy for writing up Collins again.  But the man is coming off his best week.  He caught all 4 targets this weekend and ended up with 55 yards.  Collins is becoming more of a focal point in this offense.  Over the last 3 weeks he has been targeted 15 times. Collins is available everywhere and he’s well worth taking a flyer on now that he’s become more involved with the offense.
