We are coming off a 2-2 less than a unit loss Wednesday. We are still way up on the week with a full Thursday slate. I want to discuss the NFL game tonight. If you are going to bet pre game it has to be the Broncos, and that’s where we will be. They will be able to run all over a poor Chiefs run D. On top of that Mahomes is clearly not 100%. Going into Denver on a short week and against a very good Defense is less than ideal for him. I have one issue. I would love to squeeze out another point or two on the spread. Right now they are +3 across almost all books. The plan for me is to wait for live and at any point the Broncos are at +4 or better hit it for 3 units. I will have 1.5 units pre game with the +3 in case Denver jumps on them from the start(it would be 4.5 total units if we get in the live bet). I can easily see the Chiefs scoring early or putting a couple in a row together. This will boost the line where we want it to hit hard. It gives us a chance to make money if Denver crushes from start to finish and if we happen to get a better line that’s where will be put the majority of our bet. With how quickly the live bets move it’s very hard to post anything once I put it in. If you guys know the game plan going in you can jump on it too. There might be some late NHL additions so check back for that as well.

We have taken a month’s worth of terrible beats in the last 5 days. The Giants game played out just as expected. A mucky low offense game where we have the team getting 16.5!! A blocked punt, turnovers in the red zone and we were still looking good. Late game played out as poorly as possible. That was capped off with one of the most obvious missed PI penalties that was somehow upheld upon replay. We couldn’t have been more on target in that game and unfortunately it went against us. The Devils were our biggest play of the night. They either led or were tied the entire game. They led with a minute left and inexplicably let the game tying goal in. To top it off we lost in an extra round shootout. This has been a terribly unfortunate theme of the week. Great plays going bad at the very end. All that can be done is to work hard and make the right plays. That will continue as we head into tonight.

This week has not been fun. Another terrible blown lead in MLB. This has been a massive theme this year is baseball and unfortunately we have taken some brutal losses because of it. The bullpen blew it for the Dodgers costing us over 5 units. These weeks are extremely frustrating especially when you are on the right side and it goes poorly multiple times.
