My NBA targets can be used in both cash games and GPP’s. The risky plays are to be used as GPP dart throws. I am using DraftKings salaries.

#1 TARGET: ANTHONY DAVIS (10,300)

In his last four games, Davis has produced at least 55 Draftkings points, playing no less than 31 minutes per game. In this matchup versus the 25th ranked NBA defense of the Golden State Warriors, he will be playing without LeBron James. Without James on the court, Davis has a fantastic usage rate (33.7%), a high assist rate (18%), a terrific rebound percentage (15.5%), and is sporting 1.63 FPPM. Davis is my favorite play of the day. Plug him in and move on.

#2 TARGET: HASSAN WHITESIDE (8,800)

This is a spot I have been targeting all year. The Indiana Pacers have been atrocious defending big men in the NBA all season. This is a great matchup for Whiteside. Over his last three games, he has been flirting with the 50 fantasy point mark. Earlier this season, Whiteside amassed 52 Draftkings points in 36 minutes in an NBA matchup versus the Pacers. Hassan is the number one big man in Portland and should see around 36 minutes and continue his production of 1.4 FPPM. He could easily have a repeat performance and put up 50 plus fantasy points in this spot.

#3 TARGET: TOBIAS HARRIS (7,500)

Harris should be on the courttonight without both Simmons and Embiid. Without the duo on the court, Harrishas an excellent usage rate (32%) and produced 1.23 FPPM. He is in a greatmatchup versus the 21st ranked NBA defense of the New York Knicks. We could see Harris put up 50 fantasy points, with upside for more.

##4 TARGET: MYLES TURNER (5,200)

Coming off of a great game where he produced 42 Draftkings points in 27 minutes, Turner is set up for an even better NBA matchup. Turner faces off against Whiteside. Whiteside is a big part of the terrible 27th ranked NBA defense of the Portland Trailblazers. Turner comes in averaging around 1.1 FPPM. He could be in line for an optimal performance tonight. Turner should have no issue producing another fantasy point game in this spot.

#5 TARGET: SHAI GILGEOUS-ALEXANDER (7,400)

The last time these two NBA teams met, SGA produced 43 Draftkings points in 38 minutes. He is in a good spot versus the mediocre 16th ranked NBA defense of the Sacramento Kings. SGA will see about 34 to 36 minutes. He should have no problem with a repeat performance of 40 plus fantasy points.

Honorable Mention:

DOMANTAS SABONIS (9,100)

CHRIS PAUL (7,900)

TJ WARREN (6,000)

AL HORFORD (5,200)

KYLE KUZMA (3,900)

RAJON RONDO (3,500)

SLATE SUMMARY:

On today’s small four-game NBA slate, I will be locking in Davis in about 75% of my lineups and will use a balanced approach for the other 25%. Good luck today, and don’t forget to come back and WIN DAILY.

Don’t forget to check out the Win Daily Podcast, featuring the Flash and David Hess as they take a look at tonight’s four-game slate!!

Isaiah’s Protocol for the NBA DFS slate is built around DraftKings pricing but is good across the industry with some slight adjustments to salaries on the various sites.

We are looking at a six-game NBA DFS slate tonight with some interesting players to consider. There are some key injuries to consider when building your rosters tonight. I highly advise all my readers to join the staff at WinDaily in our Discord chat rooms as we discuss some of the important news and break down some intriguing plays even further.

I want to start out by discussing a couple of the games I’d like to target tonight. The Pelicans are traveling to California to take on the depleted Warriors. This game has a massive 238 point total which represents the highest on tonight’s NBA DFS slate. Expect to see some offense here as the Pelicans rank 28th in points allowed and the Warriors ranking 25th in defensive efficiency (DEFF). The Wizards are in Chicago tonight and I don’t think I need to talk too much about this. Washington’s defensive woes have been well scripted this season and we are all aware of their fast pace as well. This Chicago team continues to struggle with mounting injuries. This game is carrying a 232 point total and will be a game to target as well. One other quick note is Portland playing host to a tanking Detroit team without the services of their star player, Damian Lillard. There will most certainly need to be some exposure here on this NBA DFS slate.

THE STUD

Zach Lavine ($9100) Don’t think too hard here. The Wizards are last in points allowed and defensive efficiency. The Bulls are very short-handed right now leading to Lavine’s 31% usage rate and 1.19 fantasy points (FP) per minute. Zach just dropped 63.75 DraftKings fantasy points (DKFPTS) on the Wizards just before the All-Star break and averages 53.1 in his previous 3 meetings with them this season.

THE CORE

CJ McCollum ($8400) Grab your fork and prepare to eat this chalk tonight. CJ leads the team with a 31% usage rate with Dame off the floor. That’s over a %5 boost on his season average. Detroit ranks 18th in DEFF and 21st in DVA which is a rank given to the opponent when facing this player’s archetype. McCollum just dropped 50 DKFPTS on the Pelicans on Friday without Lillard with a 27/6/10 stat line. Make sure he’s on your roster on this NBA DFS slate.

Brandon Ingram ($6900) So I’m all for taking almost all the Pelican starters tonight, but let’s talk about Brandon. Ingram has averaged 47.4 DKFPTS against Golden State in his previous 2 meetings. That alone would provide just over 7X value at this salary. I could also point out his 30% usage rate, or his 1.24 FP/min. I’ve already discussed the 125.5 points implied team total (ITT) on this game and the Warriors 25th ranked DEFF. Did I forget to mention that Draymond Green has already been ruled out tonight?

THE VALUE

Derrick Rose ($5900) I love the fact that Rose has now posted 3 duds in a row. This has driven both his salary and ownership way down. Derrick leads this current roster with a monster 33% usage rate. Including those last 3 games, Rose has STILL averaged over 30 DKFPTS over his last 26 games. Let’s talk about Portlands 26th ranked defense which is currently lacking its star. Go right back to the well on this NBA DFS slate.

Naz Reid ($5500) Don’t let the matchup against Jokic and Denver fool you. The minutes will be here. Naz only needs 33 DKFPTS to achieve 6X value on this price tag. He just posted 38.75 in Boston in 33 minutes. He’s also multi-positional eligible on DK and much cheaper ($4500) on FD. Take the savings here and move on.

There’s a ton of players to like tonight and I simply don’t have the time to write them all up. I highly encourage all readers to join myself, and the rest of the WinDaily team in the Discord chat rooms as we break down and discuss our favorite plays. Thank you for reading my content and feel free to leave a comment, or hit me up on Twitter @IsaiahsProtocol.
