Let’s dig in and see if we can make some money.

MLB Picks

Corbin Burnes – 40.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Corbin Burnes is one of the best spots out of any pitcher today.  The Cubs lineup over the last week has really struggled.  They have a 31.4% K rate while only scoring 13 runs in their last 6 games.   Since struggling with his control in the opener against the Cubs this season, Burnes has been absolutely lights out.  Over his last 2 games, Burnes has 21 K’s in 13 innings, while only allowing 2 ER.  Yes, he did struggle vs. this same Cubs lineup on opening day but most of that was self induced as he had an uncharacteristic 3 walks.  I think he gets to this number today.  I’m siding with the Over on this PrizePicks number.

Taylor Ward – .5 Runs + RBI – Over

If we look at Dallas Keuchel’s last game we can see someone that got extremely lucky.  He didn’t give up a run, but his xFIP for that game was 6.76.  He struck out just 2 through 4, but walked 5 and gave up 2 hits.  The Angels are an underrated lineup that can put up runs quickly and very well could give Keuchel fits right from the start.  Their top-of-the-lineup with Ward leading off is actually one of the better in baseball.

Ward has been light’s out over the last week.  Over his last 26 ABs, Ward has 11 hits.  What’s most important for this projection though is that over that span he also 12 RBI and 9 runs scored.  If the Angels lineup scores today, it will be thanks in part to Ward.  I like the Over on this Runs + RBI prop from PrizePicks today.

MIke Trout – 8.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Mike Trout was a big disappointment for us yesterday.  I just don’t see it happening 2 days in a row from the fella.  He gets the same great matchup today that Ward has.  Keuchel is just at the tail end of his career.  He’s a shell of the pitcher he was when he won the Cy Young in 2015.  He no longer misses any bats and his control has gotten worse over time.  Although he’s still the same groundball pitcher he always was, 20% of his flyballs end up leaving the park these days.  Mike Trout has a long history of hitting Keuchel well and has a pair of homers to his name vs. him.  Look for Trout to rebound after his poor day yesterday.  I’m siding with the Over on this PrizePicks projection.

Cedric Mullins – .5 Runs + RBI – Over

Although Nick Pivetta pitched a wee bit better in his last outing, he still gave up a pair runs and 7 baserunners in just 4 innings of work.  He’s someone that I will always target with hitters due to him just not being a very good pitcher.  Of all the pitchers on the mound today, he has the highest xFIP.  He’s also given up 4 homers on the year.

The guy from the Orioles I’ll target him today with will be Mullins.  Mullins has been swinging a good stick over the last week.  He has 6 hits but most importantly has 7 runs scored.  I expect the Orioles to put up some runs today vs. Pivetta and Mullins will be part of it.  I like the Over on this number from PrizePicks.

Rafael Devers – 8.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Jordan Lyles is one of my favorite pitchers to pick on in both DFS and on PrizePicks.  He’s a flyball pitcher that gives up a ton of a hard contact.  The potential for homers is just always out there.  On the year Lyles has already given up 4 homers in 20 innings of work.  Lefties have really been the one to give him the most fits so far this season.  Through 42 plate appearances, lefties have a .457 ISO against him and a .526 wOBA.

I’m targeting him today with one of the Red Sox best hitters who also happens to be a lefty, Rafael Devers.  Devers is hot, with 10 hits in 28 ABs.  Look for him to take Lyles deep today.  I’m siding with the Over on this one from PrizePicks.

MLB Summary

We have a full day of baseball and some of my favorite pitchers that I target with bats are on the hill. Look for teams like the Angels and Red Sox to put up some high run totals today.  They’ll be a route to target with bats.

Let’s dig in and see if we can make some money.

MLB Picks

DJ LeMahieu – .5 Runs + RBIs – Over

The Yankees offense is absolutely rolling right now and it shouldn’t slow down one bit tonight as they face Carlos Hernandez tonight.  Hernandez has been dreadful this year, with a 5.41 xFIP and WHIP of 1.79.  With LeMahieu leading off and Hernandez allowing close to 2 runners per inning, there’s a solid chance he gets on base multiple times today.  Over his last 26 plate appearances, LeMahieu has been on base 10 times.

What I’m mostly focused on here is that he’s also scored 9 runs over the last week.  With how many runs the Yankees have been scoring of late and with LeMahieu being a big part of that, I really like his chances to score again today.  I’m going with the Over on this PrizePicks number.

Aaron Judge – 8.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

When we target Carlos Hernandez with bats, we target him with right-handed bats.  Through 30 plate appearances this season, righties have a .333 ISO against him and a .494 wOBA.  Righties also have a 50% hard-hit rate vs. him this year.

If we look at Judge, the man is on fire.  He homered against last night and that now makes it 3 over the last week with 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored.  The Yankees should put up some runs today and Judge will be right in the middle of it.  I like the Over on this PrizePIcks number.

Shane McClanahan – 6.5 Strikeouts – Over

The Twins have some serious pop in their lineup, starting right at the top with Byron Buxton.  They also K quite a bit, starting right at the top with Byron Buxton.  The projected lineup today for the Twins has a combined 27% K rate vs. lefties this season. That’s above average and today they are facing a stud pitcher in Shane McClanahan.

On the year McClanahan has a 36% K rate and a near 38% CSW.  His SwStr % of 18.8% is tops of any pitcher on the hill today.  This 6.5 K prop for McClanahan is one he’s hit in every game so far.  If he can limit the damage today with Buxton, I have no reason to think he can’t make it 5 consecutive starts to start the year with at least 7 K’s.  I’m siding with the Over on this PrizePicks K prop today.

Nathan Eovaldi – 5.5 Strikeouts – Over

Nathan Eovaldi gets the lucky straw tonight as he gets to take on the Baltimore Orioles.  The Orioles are a bottom-tier offense that shouldn’t be able to do much against Eovaldi tonight.  Over the last week, they’ve been striking out 27% of the time.  The projected lineup tonight for the Orioles has a 24% K rate vs. righties on the year.  There’s definitely some upside with K’s in that lineup for Eovaldi.

Eovaldi has hit 6 k’s 3 times so far this season, against much tougher opponents.  He struck out 6 vs. the Blue Jays, 6 vs. the Tigers, and 7 vs. the Yankees.  If he can get that many k’s vs. those lineups, I have no doubt he can do it vs. the Orioles.  I’m going with the Over on this PrizePicks projection.

Mike Trout – 8.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Vince Velasquez continues to do Vince Velasquez things.  2022 has been no different for him as he continues to get pummeled.  Through just 12 innings, Velasquez has already given up 7 barrels and 3 homers.  Hitters have a 41% hard-hit rate vs. him and a nearly 45% flyball rate.  He’s someone that we should always consider bats against.

Velasquez is someone that we can consider both sides of the plate because he’s bad against both, with a lean towards being worse against righties.  Since the start of last year, righties have a .312 ISO against him.  I’m firing up Mike Trout in both DFS today and PrizePicks.  Trout has a .541 ISO vs. righties this year.  A homer for him today seems like a no-brainer.  I’m going with the Over on this one from PrizePicks today.

MLB Summary

Saturday brings us day baseball and night baseball.  We have some great environments for pitchers and then some absolute gas cans.  Any Angel bats with props will work and Yankees bats as well.

Whether it’s for PrizePicks or DFS, make sure you’re reading all of our great MLB content.

It’s Friday and every team is in action tonight, giving us a solid late for some MLB props to play on PrizePicks.  We have some really great places to target tonight for both pitching and hitting.

Not already a PrizePicks member?  Sign up today using the button below and you’ll get a bonus match of 100% up to $100.  And to top it off, we’ll give you a free month of Win Daily Gold ($50 value).

Let’s dig in and see if we can make some money.

MLB Picks

Frankie Montas – 32.5 Pitcher Fantasy Score – Over

The A’s come into this game as heavy favorites over the Indians at -155.  Although the Indians started out the year scoring runs in droves, they’ve come crashing back down to earth in a very big way.  Over the past week they’ve had one of the worst offenses in the both leagues.  Their K rate ranks fourth-worst and has scored the third fewest runs.  They’re a team that we can once again pick on with pitchers.

With Montas, we’re getting someone coming into this game in solid form.  Through his first 24 innings pitched this season, he has a very respectable 26.6% K rate and his ERA is just 2.67.  All we’ll need from him tonight to get this number is 6-7 innings, with 5 K’s, and just a couple of runs against.  All seem very attainable in this matchup.  I’m going with the Over on this PrizePIcks projection.

Matt Brash – 5 Strikeouts – Over

Through 3 big league starts, Brash has a K/9 close to 8.  He’s been able to do this against teams that don’t historically K much in the Astros, Royals, and to a lesser extent the White Sox.  Tonight he gets a great matchup with the Marlins, a team striking out more than every team over the last week.  They have had a K rate of 32% over the last week.

The projected lineup he’s supposed to face tonight has a 25% K rate vs. righties on the year.  So even though the last week has been awful for the Marlins, the rest of the season doesn’t look too much better.  Brash hit 6 k’s in his debut against the White Sox and I think he does it again tonight.  I’m going with the Over on this PrizePicks number.

Aaron Judge – 8.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

There may be no hitter hotter than Judge right now.  In his last 24 ABs, Judge has 4 homers and 8 RBI.  He’s also scored 8 runs over that stretch.  And his matchup tonight will only keep things moving.  On the year he has absolutely crushed southpaws.  Through 19 ABs this season, Judge has a 1.276 OPS and a .544 wOBA.  Those are both just insane number, albeit in a small sample size.  Judge gets a great matchup tonight and he also hits the Over on his PrizePicks prop!

George Springer – 7.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Another hitter in a great matchup tonight will be George Springer.  Jose Urquidy is an extreme reverse splits pitcher, as he’s far worse against righties.  Urquidy is also an extreme flyball pitcher with a flyball rate of 52% on the year.  This plays out so well for Springer tonight.  With Springer being a flyball hitter, lining up with a flyball pitcher gives us a very real shot at a homer tonight.

It also helps that Springer is coming into this matchup hitting the ball well.  Over the last week, Springer has 8 hits in 24 ABs.  Can Springer lead things off for the Blue Jays with a homer tonight?  There’s a great shot at it.  I’m siding with the Over on this PrizePicks projection.

MLB Summary

We have a full night of baseball and a great night of props on PrizePicks.  I’m picking on both the Indians and Fish with my pitchers, and then going to run it home with hitters from the Yankees and Blue Jays.  Guys like Guerrero, Rizzo, and Bichette should all have great games in their respective matchups.  I’d look to them for some props as well.

Whether it’s for PrizePicks or DFS, make sure you’re reading all of our great MLB content.

Good luck and hope to see some green bars tonight!

It’s Wednesday and we have a solid 8 game slate for some MLB props to play on PrizePicks.  My focus today will be on the games starting at 7pm.  It’s a weird night tonight with some average pitchers against average lineups.

Not already a PrizePicks member?  Sign up today using the button below and you’ll get a bonus match of 100% up to $100.  And to top it off, we’ll give you a free month of Win Daily Gold ($50 value).

Let’s dig in and see if we can make some money.

MLB Picks

Marlins/Nationals – .5 First Inning Runs – Under

This game tonight will feature 2 below-average offenses with 2 average to slightly above average pitchers on the hill.  Pablo Lopez has been pretty solid to start the year, with just a 2.68 xFIP and an ERA less than 1.  The only issues he’d face in the first would be Juan Soto, but Soto is in one of his stretches where he is banging the ball right into the ground.

On the Nats’ side, they turn the ball over to Erick Fedde who’s been pitching ‘ok’ this season.  Through his first 13 innings on the year, he’s pitching to just a 3.37 xFIP.  This should be a low scoring game with 2 bad offenses.  I like the Under on this first inning scoring prop from PrizePicks.

Anthony Rizzo – 7.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

If you haven’t been watching the last few days, Anthony Rizzo is red hot!  Over his last 25 ABs, Rizzo has 5 homers and 10 RBI.  He is one of the hottest hitters in the game and when he’s in the zone, he’s tough to get out.  Tonight Rizzo gets a great matchup vs. a pitcher in Tyler Wells who is below average.

On the year, Wells has a 5.24 xFIP and is giving up just a ton of hard contact at 36%.  He’s also given up 5 barrels in 8 innings of work.  When you average close to a barrel an inning, you’re doing it wrong.  I love the Over on the 7.5 Hitter Fantasy Score for Rizzo tonight.

Matt Olson – 8.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

I really like this spot for Matt Olson tonight.  He’ll be squaring it up against Mark Leiter who just hasn’t pitched well in his return to the big leagues after a 4 year hiatus.  Olson is going to see a bunch of sinkers tonight.  This is a pitch that Matt Olson has historically crushed.  Over the last few years, Olson has a .303 ISO against sinkers coming from righties.  The last week or so has been a struggle for Olson, but this is as good of a bounce-back spot as there is.  I really like the Over the on this PrizePicks number tonight.

Brandon Belt – 5.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Although Paul Blackburn has been pitching well this year, he’s still the same guy that had 5 consecutive seasons with an xFIP at 4.40 or greater.  He’s an attackable pitcher and I’m going to attack him with Brandon Belt tonight.  Brandon Belt is starting to hit the ball better and is in a great spot as well tonight.  With Blackburn increasing his changeup usage this season, this is something that really will fall into Belt’s wheelhouse.

Since the start of the 2019 season, Belt has a .351 ISO against righty changeups.  It’s a pitch he loves and if he gets one over the plate tonight, there’s a good chance he does some damage with it. .  I’m siding with the Over on this PrizePicks number.

MLB Summary

If playing on PrizePicks tonight, I’d recommend going light.  It’s a tricky night with average matchups for all.  That said, I picked the spots I have the most faith in.

Whether it’s for PrizePicks or DFS, make sure you’re reading all of our great MLB content.

Good luck and hope to see some green bars tonight!

It’s Tuesday and we have a solid slate for some MLB props to play on PrizePicks.  My focus today will be on the games starting at 7pm.  We have a bunch of gas cans on the hill today so we’ll looking mostly at hitting props.

Not already a PrizePicks member?  Sign up today using the button below and you’ll get a bonus match of 100% up to $100.  And to top it off, we’ll give you a free month of Win Daily Gold ($50 value).

Let’s dig in and see if we can make some money.

MLB Picks

Royals/White Sox – .5 First Inning Runs – Over

This game features two pitchers at very different points in their respective careers, but both in equally poor matchups tonight.  Daniel Lynch will turn into a stud pitcher one day, he’s just not there yet and he gets an absolutely miserable matchup.  In his short time in the big leagues, righties have been the side of the plate that has given him the most issues.

The White Sox lineup tonight will be an all-righty lineup.  With that lineup, I expect the White Sox to score early in this one and get on the board in the first.  Dallas Keuchel starts for the White Sox and you have to think he’s at the tail end of his career.  This year has been especially rough for him through 2 starts.  I expect both Merrifield and Perez to get the party started early for the Royals in this one.  I’m siding with the Over on this runs prop from PrizePicks.

Blue Jays/Red Sox – .5 First Inning Runs – Over

This one may turn into a laugher early.  On the hill for the Red Sox, tonight will be Nick Pivetta.  Through his 11 innings of work this season he’s already given up 4 homers.  I see very few scenarios where Pivetta can get through his matchup unscathed.  Of all the pitchers on the hill tonight, only Jake Odorizzi has a higher xFIP on the year.  Hitters have a near 39% hard-hit rate against Pivetta to go along with a 38% flyball rate.  There are so many factors leading to the Blue Jays blowing this one wide open quickly tonight.  I like the Over on this PrizePicks projection tonight.

Salvador Perez – 7.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Salvador Perez is heating up folks!  We need to take advantage of it while we can.  Over his last 20 Abs, Perez has 7 hits with 3 of them leaving the park.  His hard-hit rate is also pushing 60% over those ABs.  Perez also has a very long history of smashing lefties.  Over the last 2 seasons, he has a .333 ISO against them.  With Keuchel struggling to start the year, Perez is in a great spot to keep up his productivity.  I love the over on this number from PrizePicks.

Byron Buxton – 7.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

I was expecting this number to be at 8.5, so when I saw it was just 7.5 I jumped at the opportunity to take advantage of it.  Since coming back from injury, Buxton has been red hot.  In his last 9 Abs, Buxton has 3 homers to go with 7 RBI.  He also gets a great matchup with a pitcher in Eduardo Rodriguez coming into tonight’s game, not in great form.  Rodriguez is giving up a 50% flyball rate and a 39% hard-hit rate this year.  There is a very real chance that Buxton takes him deep in his first AB.  I Love the over here.

MLB Summary

Tonight’s a great night to pick some offense.  There are a bunch of pitchers that are just struggling right now that are in matchups that will only enhance their poor start.  I’d also recommend projections for Blue Jays bats and some White Sox bats.

Whether it’s for PrizePicks or DFS, make sure you’re reading all of our great MLB content.

Good luck and hope to see some green bars tonight!

It’s Monday and we have a solid slate for some MLB props to play on PrizePicks.  With it being Monday, that means we’ll have a smaller slate to deal with.

Not already a PrizePicks member?  Sign up today using the button below and you’ll get a bonus match of 100% up to $100.  And to top it off, we’ll give you a free month of Win Daily Gold ($50 value).

Let’s dig in and see if we can make some money.

MLB Picks

Giants/Brewers – .5 First Inning Runs Allowed – Under

This game will feature 2 solid pitchers.  On the Brewers side, they’ll turn the ball over to staff ace Corbin Burnes.  After a rough first outing, Burnes has really settled in nicely over his last couple of starts with 18 K’s between the 2 games.  Although the Giants have a solid lineup, Burnes is the type of pitcher that can dominate any lineup.

On the Giants side, they’ll turn the ball over to Sam Long as the opener for today.  He’s only thrown 4 innings so far this season, but has yet to give up a run.  Look for that to continue today against the Brewers.  I like the Under on this PrizePicks number.

Phillies/Rockies – .5 First Inning Runs Allowed – Over

Phillies have the highest run total on the board tonight at 5.1.  I expect there to be some runs in this game and I expect them to start right from the start.  The Phillies are throwing out 4 right handed hitters in their first 5 tonight and that’s going to cause some headaches for Kyle Freeland tonight.

All 4 of those hitters have ISO’s of at least .180 against lefties to start the year.  Look for the Phillies to score early and often tonight, especially after the fireworks from last night’s game against the Brewers.  Thanks Angel.  I’m siding with Over on this PrizePicks Projection.

Nick Castellanos – 6.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Is there a chance that Castellanos lets us down today?  There’s always a chance, but this matchup is a really solid one for him on paper.  We’re now about 3 weeks into the season and so far Castle has been crushing left handed pitching.  Through 158 plate appearances he has a . 295 ISO against them with a .414 wOBA.  Pitch-wise, Castle also lines up perfectly.  He hits low 90’s fastballs and changeups very well.  With Freeland, we attack him with righties.  They have a .204 ISO against him over the last 2 years.  I love the Over on this projection tonight.

Rhys Hoskins – 6.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Hoskins gets the same matchup tonight as Castle and I may love his spot even more.  After a down 2021, Hoskins has been great to start the year.  Especially against lefties.  Since the start of the year Hoskins has a .302 ISO against lefties.  He’s quieted down a bit against them, but he’s still hitting them very hard.  Hoskins should see a changeup about 25% of the time tonight vs. Freeland.  He has a .762 ISO against this pitch.  Look for him to take Freeland deep in front of the home crowd.  I’m going with the Over on this PrizePicks number.

MLB Summary

Tonight’s a bit of an odd slate.  We have some really good pitchers in bad spots and some good offenses in bad spots.  I’m going to take it light tonight on PrizePicks and focus my efforts on that Phillies/Rockies game.

Whether it’s for PrizePicks or DFS, make sure you’re reading all of our great MLB content.

Good luck and hope to see some green bars tonight!

It’s Sunday Funday and that means we have a solid slate for some MLB props to play on PrizePicks.  With it being Sunday, that means the bulk of the games are starting at 1pm EST.  Make sure to get your picks in early.

Not already a PrizePicks member?  Sign up today using the button below and you’ll get a bonus match of 100% up to $100.  And to top it off, we’ll give you a free month of Win Daily Gold ($50 value).

Let’s dig in and see if we can make some money.

MLB Picks

Adam Wainwright – 5 Strikeouts – Over

The ageless wonder just continues to pitch well. Wainwright on the year has a K rate of close to 28%.  The 40 year continues to pitch well and today gets a great matchup vs. a Reds team that is striking out close to a third of the time this season against righties.  Wainwright also gets to face a very watered-down Reds lineup, with both Jonathan India and Mike Moustakas on the IL.  Look for Wainwright to continue his strong start.  I like the Over on this PrizePicks projection.

Wander Franco – .5 Runs + RBI – Over

The Tampa Bay Rays get to take on old teammate Dick Mountain today.  So far in his 2 starts this season, Hill has not been overly impressive with his new squad.  Through 9 innings of work, he’s already allowed 7 ER and 2 homers.  The Rays should be able to get to Hill today and if they do, Wander Franco will be a big part of it.

Over the last week, Franco has been doing a little bit of everything.  Through 23 ABs, he has 3 homers, 6 RBI, and 5 runs scored.  He’s seeing the ball extremely well and will surely be in the middle of this offense today.  I love the Over here on this PrizePicks number.

Mike Yastrzemski – 5.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Instead of a tough matchup vs. Gray, the Giants have lucked themselves into a dance with Joan Adon today.  That’s going to be a great matchup for this Giants squad.  Adon has not been good so far this season.  He’s pitched to a 5.87 ERA and 5.12 xFIP.  Through 15 innings, he’s already given up 3 homers and 9 walks.  Today’s going to be really tough for him.

This is a great spot for Yas.  Over the last week, Yas is swinging a hot bat with 8 hits in 23 ABs, 3 of which are barrels.  With this number, we really won’t need too much from him.  We’ll essentially just need him to reach base a couple of times and then score a run.  With the Giants expected to score a bunch of runs and Yas at the top of this potent lineup, this number from PrizePicks seems like a lock.  I’m siding with the Over.

Brandon Belt – 5.0 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Belt gets the same matchup today that Yas gets, just with a lower projection.  They’ll need to get to the same number to get the over though.  Belt’s been in a little bit of a funk lately, some of it his own doing, some of it not.  While he has 8 K’s over his 26 ABs, he also has 0 BABIP.  His only 2 hits have both been homers.  This is a great spot for him to break out and with the weather being much warmer in the Mid-Atlantic today, I can see Belt taking Adon deep.  I like the Over here.

Ty France – 7.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Ty France is one of the hottest hitters in the game right now. Over his last 25 ABs, France has 12 hits and has done a ton of damage.  During that stretch of ABs, France has 3 homers, 8 runs scored, and 11 RBI.  He also gets a great matchup today vs. Carlos Hernandez.  Hernandez has been getting eaten up alive by righties this year.  They have a .273 ISO and a .491 wOBA against him.  This sets up extremely well for France today.  Look for France to continue to do this thing today.  I’m siding with the Over here.

MLB Summary

We have a full day of baseball and I can’t wait.  I didn’t highlight any here, but the Cardinals righties are also in a smash spot today.  There are a ton of props for them that seem easily attainable.  I’d also look to some Mets righties vs. MadBum.  Alonso should take him deep this afternoon.

Whether it’s for PrizePicks or DFS, make sure you’re reading all of our great MLB content.

Good luck and hope to see some green bars tonight!

Let’s dig in and see if we can make some money.

MLB Picks

Kyle Hendricks – 4.5 Strikeouts – Over

Kyle Hendricks has a solid chance at this number.  The expected Pirates lineup that he’ll face today has a 31% K rate against righties on the year.  Anytime we see a number that high, we’re dealing with a team we can attack with a K prop.  In Hendrick’s 3 outings so far this year, he’s hit this twice and both times would have been at ease.

My only concern with this one is that the wind is blowing out heavily today and that may make for a shorter afternoon.  That said, this is still a good matchup against a high strikeout team.  I’m going to side with the Over on this projection from PrizePicks and will watch Hendricks get his 5 strikeouts.

Mets and Diamondbacks – .5 First Inning Runs Allowed – Over

This Mets/Diamondbacks game will be the opposite of a pitcher’s duel tonight.  Through 7 innings so far this season, Humberto Castellanos has pitched to a 6.76 xFIP while only having a 2.57 ERA.  He’s been able to luck himself out of runs, but tonight he’s facing a Mets lineup that has scored the most runs in baseball this season.  It’s time for luck to run out.

On the Mets side, they’re giving the ball to spot starter Trevor Williams.  While Williams isn’t an awful pitcher, I wouldn’t categorize him as a good one either.  Over the last 2 seasons, Williams has pitched to an xFIP over 4.  The Diamondbacks should be able to get to him early.  This game has an implied run total over 9, expect some fireworks and expect them early.  I like the Over on this PrizePicks projection.

MIke Trout – 7.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

The Angels are in a great spot to put up a crooked number tonight.  On the hill for the Orioles will be Spenser Watkins and he just has not shown the ability to get Major Leagues hitters out yet.  Over the span of 62 innings between last year and this year, Watkins has a 7.32 ERA and a 5.62 xFIP.  So far in his young career, it’s been righties that have done the most damage against him.  They have an ISO of .302 and a wOBA of .422.

The Halos have this guy named Mike Trout on their team who’s a decent right-handed bat that we can use.  The best player in the game should have no issues putting up some points tonight against a young struggling pitcher.  I like the Over on this PrizePicks number for Trout tonight.

CJ Cron – 6.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

We don’t often use Rockies hitters outside of Coors, but this is a really nice spot for Cron today.  I really like Skubal a great deal as a pitcher and when it eventually clicks full-time for him, he’s going to be a stud.  He’s just not quite there yet.  His biggest weakness has been pitching to righties as they’ve had a .255 ISO against him during his brief career.

Cron is in a great spot as he has very dominant numbers against southpaws.  While it’s still very early, Cron has a .500 ISO against southpaws to start the 2022 campaign.  If the Rockies do any damage today, Cron will be the catalyst.  I like the Over here.

Francisco Lindor – 7.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

The Mets have the potential to put up a decent score tonight.  I highlighted above that Castellanos hasn’t pitched well this season, but so far has been pretty lucky.  Lefties are really where we want to attack him. Last year they had a .247 ISO against him.  He gives up way too many flyballs to them and hard hits.  Both numbers are 44%.  That many hard-hit flyballs are a recipe for disaster.

After struggling to start his Mets career last year, Lindor is off to a hot start.  Against righties so far on the year, Lindor has a .325 ISO and a ..464 wOBA.  Over the last week, Lindor has 9 hits over 29 ABs.  He’s also put the ball in play 27 of those 29 ABs.  He’s seeing the ball the best he’s seen it in a Mets uniform. Let’s ride it as long as we can.  I like the Over on this number from PrizePicks tonight.

MLB Summary

These are some of my favorite props tonight.  There are also some other great spots for offense tonight.  I’d also look to attack some props from lefties from the Braves (Olson/Albies).

It’s Friday and that means we have a solid slate for some MLB props to play on PrizePicks.  We have some great places for offense tonight and I’ll be putting my focus there.

MLB Picks

Tommy Pham – 4.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

While Steven Matz has pitched fairly well this season, I really like this spot for Tommy Pham tonight.  Even though the Reds offense has been silent, Pham hasn’t and continues to hit the ball well.  Over his last 23 at-bats, Pham has 3 barrels and 11 hard-hit balls.  So he’s pretty close to a 50% hard-hit rate.  2 of those hard hits have also left the ballpark.  The Reds have an implied run total of 4 today.  They’ll get their 4 runs and Pham will be a big part of it.  I like the Over on this PrizePicks projection.

Yordan Alvarez – 6.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

I absolutely love this spot for Alvarez tonight.  Ross Stripling is making just his second start of the year.  He’s someone that I’ve always enjoyed chasing homers against and that’s what we can do here with Alvarez.  Stripling had HR/9 over 2 in both 2020 and 2021.

Alvarez on the year has absolutely crushed right-handed pitching, with a .625 ISO in 19 plate appearances.  Alvarez should see a healthy amount of change-ups today.  Over the last few years, he has a .206 ISO against this pitch for an average distance of over 320 feet.  Alvarez is my home run call of the day and I’m going to side with the Over on this projection tonight from PrizePicks.

Jose Ramirez – 7.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

The Guardians are one of my favorite spots for offense tonight against Jameson Taillon and the Guardians’ offense always starts with Ramirez.  Taillon’s advanced metrics tell us he’s due for a blowup.  His EV is up and so is his barrel %. Add in the fact that the wind is blowing out to right tonight, we have ourselves a chance to watch Ramirez take Taillon DEEP.

If we look at Ramirez, he’s off to just an incredible start to the year.  He’s already up to 20 RBIs and his average is sitting at .430.  At some point, he’ll cool off.  It just won’t be at the hands of Taillon.  I like the Over here.

Corey Seager – 7.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

Corey Seager is due for some positive regression.  Last year against righties Seager had an ISO of .211.  This year it’s sitting at 0.  Tonight he gets to take on a pitcher that has struggled so far to start his Major League career.  Oller, albeit in very small sample size, has given up a .778 ISO to lefties.

This is as good of a spot that Seager has seen all year and one that screams breakout for his new squad.  It also helps that Oller throws a sinker and Seager has historically done well against them.  I’m siding with the Over on this PrizePicks number.

CJ Cron – .5 Runs + RBI – Over

We don’t often use Rockies hitters outside of Coors, but this is a really nice spot for Cron tonight.  I really like Skubal a great deal as a pitcher and when it eventually clicks full-time for him, he’s going to be a stud.  He’s just not quite there yet.  His biggest weakness has been pitching to righties as they’ve had a .255 ISO against him during his brief career.

Cron has very dominant splits as he crushes southpaws.  This sets up poorly for Skubal. While it’s still very early, Cron has a .500 ISO against southpaws to start the 2022 campaign.  If the Rockies do any damage tonight, Cron will be the catalyst.  I like the Over here.

MLB Summary

These are some of my favorite props tonight.  If you’re looking for other picks, I’d recommend focusing on bats from the Rangers, Indians, and lefty power from Houston.

It’s Wednesday and we have a solid slate for some MLB props to play on PrizePicks.  We have some great places to attack tonight on both the pitching and hitting fronts.

Not already a PrizePicks member?  Sign up today using the button below and you’ll get a bonus match of 100% up to $100.  And to top it off, we’ll give you a free month of Win Daily Gold ($50 value).

Let’s dig in and see if we can make some money.

MLB Picks

Chris Paddack – 4.5 Strikeouts – Under

In order for Paddack to get to this number today, he’ll need to get to 5 K’s and I just don’t’ see it.  While the Royals aren’t a powerhouse lineup, they also aren’t a bad lineup.  They’re actually a pretty patient one, as evidenced by their low 16.7% strikeout rate on the year against righties.  If we couple that with Paddack’s 15% K rate in his first start, we just see that 5 is a tall task for him tonight. I’m going with the Under on this projection on PrizePicks tonight.

Daniel Lynch – 4.5 Strikeouts – Over

Opposite to Paddack, we have a pitcher with a higher K rate facing a team with a high K rate.  Do I think that Lynch will have some challenges tonight?  Yeah, he’s going to give up some runs.  But I also think he’s going to get his fair share of K’s.  On the year, the Twins are striking out close to 27% of the time against lefties.

Although Lynch has been giving up some flyballs and homers in his young career, he’s also shown some really nice K upside.  In his first start against the Cards he gave up 3 homers, but he also struck out 7.  Lynch gets his 5 K’s tonight and we’re going with the Over on this projection.

Blue Jays/Red Sox Starting Pitchers – .5 First Inning Runs Allowed – Over

As of writing this, the Red Sox/Blue Jays game currently has an implied run total of over 9.  Both starters come into this game having the 2 highest xFIPs of all the pitchers on the hill tonight.  Yes, Berrios has struggled so far.  He’s given up just 3 homers in 5 innings and this Red Sox lineup can absolutely get to him.

On the other side, Pivetta is not someone we should be scared of.  He’s given up 3 homers in 7 innings.  This game has the potential to be a high-scoring game and the fireworks will start early.  I love the over on the first inning projection.

Vladimir Guerrero – 8.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

A pitcher that likes to give up homers vs. a hitter that likes to hit homers.  What could go wrong?  My home run call of the night goes to Vladimir Guerrero tonight.  This is going to be a really tough spot for Pivetta tonight.  He’s already given up 3 homers on the year in short work and is going to face one of the most potent offenses in the game.

Everything about this matchup tonight screams for Guerrero to do well.  The two main pitches he’ll see are a low 90’s fastball and a slider.  Both pitchers are ones that Guerrero does well against.  I love the over on this PrizePicks projection.

Bo Bichette – 7.5 Hitter Fantasy Score – Over

The same matchup for Bo Bichette tonight that Guerrero has.  While he doesn’t quite have the same power numbers that Guerrero has, Bichette is still someone that should be feared at the plate.  If we date back all the way to last season, Bichette has a .177 ISO against right-handed pitchers so there’s definitely some power potential there.

I’m not normally a BvP guy, but Bichette has done well against Pivetta in his career.  He has 2 homers in 14 ABs and has a 1.071 OPS against him.  Similar to Guerrero, I love the Over on this PrizePicks projection.

MLB Summary

If you didn’t notice by my picks, I love this spot for Toronto.  They should put up some big numbers and I’ll have them in both my DFS lineups and PrizePicks picks.

Whether it’s for PrizePicks or DFS, make sure you’re reading all of our great MLB content.
