My NBA DFS core plays are the basis of your teams for cash and GPP. For a cash lineup, you will fill out your roster with other starters and players with safe minutes. For tournaments, you will use 1 or 2 leverage plays mixed in with other cash style players. Good luck!

NBA DFS Core

Bruce Brown (4,800)

One of the best spots to attack on a nightly basis is guards against Cleveland. Bruce Brown has shown a 40 point ceiling this season and at this price with the other guards out, is an enticing value option.

Jonas Valanciunas (7,200)

This is under the assumption that Towns will be out again. Valanciunas is one of the few players that can consistently score 50+ fantasy points in under 30 minutes. This is a good defensive matchup and comes with a bit of a pace bump.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (6,800)

Gilgeos-Alexander is almost always underpriced and tonight is no exception. Brooklyn gives up just over 50 fantasy points a game to shooting guards and SGA has been hot, scoring over 40 fantasy points in 3 of the last 5 weeks.

Kyle Lowry (8,700)

Lowry is going to be chalk but that’s okay. With VanVleet, Siakam, Gasol and Powell off the court this season, Lowry gets an 8.9% usage bump and scores 1.49 fantasy points per minute. Under 9k, those numbers are a steal and are a must in lineups.
