190 Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Friday night’s Truck Series race from Martinsville Speedway. Both Brett Moffitt ($11,400) and Sheldon Creed ($10,400) have clinched their spots in the Championship Four from Phoenix next weekend so they are both driving for nothing this week. Austin Hill ($11,000) is also pretty much locked into the Championship Four so there is pretty much one spot remaining. We will be seeing drivers such as Ben Rhodes ($7,500) and Grant Enfinger ($9,200) who need to win to move on pushing themselves to get the win. NASCAR DFS: DominatorsParker Kligerman ($12,000)Starting Position: 37thKligerman is once again the top overall cash play, and could easily be the highest DraftKings points play overall. In his last five Truck races, Kligerman has three top 10 finishes, and four top 15’s. Kligerman has also had minimal success at Martinsville with two top 10’s in six races and has never finished lower than 21st. Zane Smith ($10,700)Starting Position: 2ndSmith is currently in the 4th and final spot but the best way for him to guarantee his spot in the Championship race will be to win. I think Smith could get the early lead from Creed and be out front for a good portion of the early race. Creed could be tough to pass, but I believe that Creed could try and help his teammate, along with Moffitt, win this race. Smith is a GPP only play in my opinion because of the lack of upsideSam Mayer ($10,100)Starting Position: 22ndMayer won at Bristol in his last Truck race this season and could steal the win here at Martinsville. Mayer may be a 17 year old kid, but he is one of the best up and coming drivers in NASCAR and could be low owned based on his price. I will be paying up for Mayer on Friday, and he will be in the good majority of my lineups. Other Options: Sheldon Creed ($10400), Austin Hill ($11,000), Brandon Jones ($9,600)NASCAR DFS: Mid TierTodd Gilliland ($8,900)Starting Position: 20thI rarely, if ever, played Todd Gilliland this season solely because his upside was pretty low each week. This week is very different, Martinsville is a track that Gilliland has done well at in his career. In five career races here, Gilliland has two top 5’s, including winning this race last season. Gilliland has also never finished lower than 15th in his five races at MartinsvilleSpencer Davis ($8,000)Starting Position: 36thDavis is a little pricey but I like the play this week for the upside based on his recent history. In his last four races, Davis has three top 20 finishes and has earned at least 34 DKFP in those races. Other Options: Grant Enfinger ($9,200), Stewart Friesen ($8,400), Derek Kraus ($7,800), Carson Hocevar ($7,600)NASCAR DFS: Value Tier RankingsTrevor Bayne – $6,600 – P21Ben Rhodes – $7,500 – P7Tate Fogleman – $5,600 – P27BJ McLeod – $4,700 – P28Timmy Hill – $5,900 – P23Tanner Gray – $6,900 – P12Josh Reaume – $6,400 – P31Raphael Lessard – $7,100 – P10Thanks for reading this article on the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop: Truck Series 10/30/20 from Martinsville Speedway!
