CIN enters today with the fourth-highest team wOBA over the last seven days (.344) and has signaled a longer-term bullish trend shift by putting up a huge weekly increase in rolling wOBA. The Reds appear to be shaking off those early-season struggles. We also cannot forget that NL teams benefit offensively by playing in an AL park; Especially, a team with talented bench bats like the Reds. That once gaping hole in the lineup will now see the likes of a legitimate professional hitter.
The Reds are experiencing a renaissance across the last week after bringing up the caboose in every major category for the first month of the season. We can see two very bullish signals here. First, they recently pierced their MAs to the upside, and those same levels subsequently provided support from below. The chart above would certainly support this boost in production.

Over the last seven games, the Athletics pen is 23rd in ERA (5.21), 26th in xFIP (5.01) & 23RD in WHIP (1.37).
THE PLAY : CIN Team Total Over 3.5
We’ll take the hot offense with the added DH tonight against a scuffling pitcher and bullpen, hoping for four runs in the first inning.
