Aaron Brooks (R), KIA – $10,100 DK / $30 FD

The KIA ace is not only the most skilled pitcher ontonight’s KBO slate, he also has the best matchup. Aaron Brooks has been thedefinition of consistency for the KIA Tigers’ rotation and now sits at 5-3 witha 2.49 ERA, 3.02 FIP, 1.12 WHIP, and a 20.5% strikeout rate. In 13 starts thisseason, Brooks has yet to have a final output of 10 DK points or less, providingus with an elite cash game option, but warranting consideration in tournamentsas well with the upside his skillset and matchup carry.

Drew Rucinski (R), NCD – $10,300 DK / $27 FD

Rucinski had his start rained out yesterday and thusgets the nod for the NC Dinos on tonight’s KBO slate. Here is yesterday’s writeup that still applies today:

The ace of the KBO slate has arguably the mostpotential from a raw points perspective, in addition to carrying enough upsideto weather the expected ownership percentages at the time of writing. Rucinskihas been the victim of being in teammate Chang Mo Koo’s shadow and his MVPcampaign, but has quietly gone 9-1 in 13 starts this season with a 2.05 ERA,3.77 FIP, 1.08 WHIP, and a 21.7% strikeout rate. Facing a Samsung roster thatis wildly inconsistent and nursing quite a few injuries, NCD’s “other” ace iswell worth every dollar tonight.

While the availability of Aaron Brooks does shiftme off Rucinski ever-so-slightly, he remains more of a 1B option than #2 to Brooksand is in play for every format.
