191 English Premier League ReturnsThis article focuses on English Premier League Returns on 6/17 for picks on Draftkings Fantasy and on FanDuel. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.6/17 Main Slate – The Return Finally, the moment I’ve been longing for months has finally come. The Premier League is back. Two enticing games to bring the league back to normal, with Sheffield United visiting Aston Villa and Arsenal visiting the 2nd place team in Manchester City. Unfortunately, no fans allowed in the games for the remaining fixtures, but we will see something unique as far as the player’s kits go – Black Lives Matter will be listed on the back of each player’s kit instead of their name. To start off with, the early game features Aston Villa, who fighting relegation, can hopefully use the break to improve on a lot, and completely wipe whatever strategy they were using for the first 29 fixtures because it isn’t working. Sheffield United, on the other hand, have been amazing this year. Defensively, we knew that they would be solid, and that has kept them only a few points out of Europa League qualification, and possibly fighting for the fourth Champions League Spot. Manchester City have no hope for first place, and second looks the most likely. Barring a reversal by the board, City won’t get to play in the Champions League anyways, which will spice up some things on how they play the remaining fixtures pending how that decision goes. Arsenal are looking to get back to full stride, and are sitting in 9th in the table, something very unlike them. A Manchester City match-up certainly isn’t going to help.Score PredictionsAston Villa – 0 vs Sheffield United – 1 – Rust will show on both of these teams that struggle to score goals, but I think ultimately Sheffield United win this game and control most of the possession, but it stays low scoring.Manchester City – 3 vs Arsenal – 1 – Manchester City always look like they’re in training when going ahead, so playing these sorts of games won’t feel any different. I think both teams definitely score in this fixture, but City dominates the game overall.FanDuel Midfielders/Forwards DFS PicksKevin De Bruyne (Core Play ) – $22Sergio Aguero – $21Raheem Sterling $19Rihad Mahrez – $18Jack Grealish – $17 John Lundstram – $15Oliver Norwood – $13Nicolas Pepe – $15Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – $18John Fleck $9FanDuel DefendersJack O’Connell $7 Tyrone Mings $15John Egan $8Bjorn Engels – $7Fernandinho $9Sokratis $8Kyle Walker $12Benjamin Mendy $14Matt Targett $14George Baldock $10FanDuel GoaliesDean Henderson – $11Bernd Leno – $7 (Insanely cheap, but could rack up a lot of saves)Ederson – $14Pepe Reina – $9Draftkings Forwards/MidfieldersKevin De Bruyne – $11000Riyad Mahrez – $9200Jack Grealish $9800John Fleck $7100Sergio Aguero $8800Raheem Sterling – $8500John Lundstram $5500Nicolas Pepe – $6,600Ahmed El Mohamady $4,600Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – $7500Draftkings Defenders Benjamin Mendy $5,200Matt Targett – $5,000Chris Basham – $3,900 George Baldock – $4,700Bukayo Saka – $4,100Draftkings Goalies Dean Henderson – $5000Ederson $5900Bernd Leno – $3800Pepe Reina – $4500Make sure to hop in our Expert Discord Chat for FREE!
